Joey Appleton

I'm a 20 year old award winning actor and performer from Victoria. I worked for the past 5 years at Kryal Castle which is Australia's ONLY medieval theme park! Since graduating Ballarat Grammar School in 2023, I worked as a Camp Counsellor/Assistant Director at French Woods Festival of Performing Arts in New York over summer, then I solo backpacked Europe for 4 months. I absolutely loved travelling and meeting all sorts of different people which is why I'm so excited to explore a new city! This year, I commuted 5 hours daily to Melbourne and back pursuing acting training at 16th Street Actors Studio as a Full Time Student. This put me in good stead to audition for the National Institute of Dramatic Art in Sydney, which is where I have enrolled for my BFA Acting starting 2026! When I'm not acting, I love to bake and watch movies. I'm so excited to live closer to the beach so I can have more beach days and go frequently for beach runs!

I enjoy a quiet night in and also love a social/games night. I appreciate time by myself too! I'm really clean and respectful of my housemates.
