Joelle

Hiya!

My name is Joelle, I am a PhD student from Germany studying at the University of Milan. I work on remote sensing, specifically water quality of lakes and reservoirs worldwide. I have lived in quite some flat shares in different parts of the world and understand personal space, the need to keep your place clean, but not excessively so, and really love a good hangout session. I wouldn't enjoy just co-existing with my flatmates very much, I do like to have a chat, go outside for walks or hikes and exploring the world around us together, but of course keeping everyone's social batteries in mind. I'm also into nerdy hobbies, so if you have an active DnD campaign please sign me up! Same goes for an active crafter circle, specifically knitting, crocheting or sewing. I really enjoy going to concerts, from metal to alternative to k-pop.

I speak German, English, Dutch and Italian and will probably understand your French but respond in English. I do have a pet but he will be staying at home in Italy, so don't worry if your place can't have pets!
