Moved to Brisbane a year ago from Adelaide. Currently work in hospitality. Very easy going person who gets along with anybody. I enjoying going to the beach on weekends and hanging out with friends. I'm also a outdoors person and enjoy hiking.
Hi:) I'm Regina and I'm in my 1st year studying natural health science at Endeavour college so I'm into health and nutrition and do my best to live a healthy lifestyle. I currently live in Mount Gravatt so looking for a place more close to the city. I'm planning to move sometime between mid-December or early January. I spend my time going to the gym, occasionally hiking and yoga, shopping, or reading. I'd prefer to have my own bathroom and off street parking but it will depend on what's available. Message me if you think we'd match or would like to know more. I'm also open for team-ups:) Regina
I'm interested to share a place with some cool people who enjoy having a conversation or at best hanging out over weekends. I can describe myself as liberal, easygoing, down to earth guy and also tidy! I'm doing Ph.D. at UQ which makes me work every working day.
I am 24 and I am a medical student. Next year I will be in my final year of study at the hospital full time on placement. Living near PAH would be ideal! I am bubbly, friendly and enjoy a drink on weekends. I enjoy artworks and running in my spare time. I am looking to live in a private room and I am allergic to cats (sorry). I love a doggo if you have one. I also need a car space as I have a car! I would be good to live with because I like to keep my living space clean and tidy :)
I just moved to Brisbane from the Gold Coast and work for QCAT in the city so looking for a furnished room (just need a queen size bed) that is close to buses into the city. I am very clean and won't be there that much as I am from the Gold Coast so always down there of a weekend seeing family and friends. I am fun, outgoing and social. Would be great to meet flatmates that are friends to enjoy a meal or a drink with occassionally however it's not absolutely necessary and I understand we all have our own lives. I prefer a room with a queen bed but not essential and parking is a requirement but can be on the street. Would prefer an ensuite but not absolutely necessary.
I'm a easy going guy that loves a laugh and a beer! I work full-time Mon-Fri for a recruitment company and keep it pretty low key during the week. Weekends I'm either out playing some sport (FIFA is also a sport), catching up with mates or sitting back listening to some tunes with beer in hand. I really try and keep out of the house when I can and take my best bud, Sonic (collie-x) with me whenever possible, as you always gotta have a mans best friend with you! I am pretty tidy and keep my mess confined to my room, happy to cook and make a gnarly lamb curry (if i do say so myself). Very social, always down for a chat and like to be taken out of my comfort zone. I have plenty of furniture so can bring whatever is missing/needed to a home but just as happy to store what's not needed at my folks. As mentioned above, very likely to be bringing my bud Sonic with me. He's an awesomely friendly collie-x and loves a pat, cuddle and to chase balls! If he had a friend he'd also love that too =)
I'm a chemical engineer currently doing his PhD studies at UQ. I consider myself very clean and I like to live in a tidy and comfortable environment. I like photography, music, addicted to concerts, cooking and sharing with the people I live with, also respecting each others space. I am looking for alternatives closer to the city and UQ and I would consider moving into a nice house with mature respectful people.
!Looking for Aug-Nov 2019! I am just a girl from Germany that loves adventures and wants to make some great memories. Currently I still go to school, but since I’m graduating next year I wanna take one year off and spend parts of it in Brisbane to travel and work there. I am a really tidy and clean person and usually get along with pretty much anyone. I love doing sport and spending time out. Furthermore I love to travel and experience new things. I love to meet new people and hope to find somebody out there I can stay with.
I'm clean, orderly and laidback! I love to spend time outdoors in nature whenever I can. I'm into music (guitar player), hiking, climbing and biology! Ideally, I'd love to share a house with other people who are passionate about the outdoors, who I could tag along with in exploring nature around Brisbane! I love dogs but I am allergic (same for cats). I'm currently in my second year of studying bioengineering at McGill University, and will be spending a semester in Brisbane studying at UQ. It's to be noted that I will be arriving straight from NZ so I am unable to show up to inspect. I would like to get a video chat tour of the house prior to confirming anything!
HII!! I'm Susie and am 18. I am studying and working part time and would love to move out. I am looking for a place with a few other people who are around the same age as me and share the same kind of interests etc. Let me know if you want a new friend to live with (:
I'm a full-time worker who's bubbly and out-going! I like to keep my place clean and spend my weekends catching up with friends, drinking too much coffee, having drinks/heading out for a night or doing life admin. I play sport a couple nights a week too. I love a good laugh and I get around a few mid-week wines after work (Winesday anyone?). Just got back from a trip overseas so I'm eager to move out of my parents place ASAP! Looking to be mates and not just strangers living together.
My name is Chris. I’m clean and house-trained. I’m vegan, but am totally respectful of others food preferences. I'm not racist, sexist or homophobic. I’m a virgo, if that’s important. I enjoy meeting new people and good chats over coffee, tea, beer, wine, water (or nothing at all!), though I guess I’m mostly a fairly quiet soul. My first passion is music - going to gigs, listening to it and occasionally making it - I’m particularly into indie, dreampop, rock, post-punk, and electronic music plus the odd guilty-pleasure… I’m always on the lookout for new music to fall in love with. I am an atheist. I love bike riding, and walking I respect the environment, love being in nature and do my best to lessen my impact on the planet. I have an interest in politics and the way the world is run. I love photography - I’m always taking photos of random things. Occasionally the photos aren’t bad. I enjoy reading - some fave authors: Will Self, William Gibson, Kurt Vonnegut, Anna Funder... I do love a good film too (but really, doesn’t pretty much everyone?) My favourite film is "Withnail And I”. I like to think that I have a good sense of humour and love to laugh (I really get off on smart British comedy especially), joke and smile, but am fascinated by the darker aspects of life. I have been working for the last 12 years as a public servant, which sometimes feels longer. I have travelled overseas a fair bit in the last 15 years or so, from living in London, Berlin and Canada, to several holidays in Europe and a trip to India. I love animals - cats in particular I really enjoy playing boardgames, and quite like the occasional computer game too. So obviously I just love hanging out at Netherworld. Love trivia nights too I’m not particularly into sport, but I do enjoy cricket, don’t mind a bit of soccer, and enjoy the odd game of squash with one of my besties too, though we're still a bit hazy on all the rules.... There's probably something really obvious about me that I've left out...
Hi! We're Nikita (23, from Brisbane) and Hilary (24, from Hobart), and are friends from uni who have lived together for the past year. We are looking for one or maybe two other female housemates to team up with and find a house. We're thinking a big ol' Queenslander with plenty of space and a big deck. We both work full time, with Hilary in law, and Nikita works for government (but is going back to uni to do post-grad next year). We have stable jobs and steady income. We're just looking to move as we want to live in a house with more space. Nikita is big on gardening and is looking forward to growing some herbs. We both love to cook a lot, share a wine after a long day or on the weekends and all hang out together, but also equally like to give each other space. We're looking for housemates who are also social but respectful, tidy and easy going. We like to socialise together and are really welcoming to each other's friends in the house. We would prefer no pets. Our lease ends in mid-January so we are keen to start looking ASAP. Please get in touch if we sound like the housemates for you!
Hi, prospective housemates! My name's Jack and I'm a fun, inquisitive kinda guy looking to move into an inner-city household with some likeminded people. I'm a professional musician, which keeps me very busy from Thursdays-Sundays and I've recently gotten into cycling so I've been spending a fair bit of time on the road as well. I'm single, with no pets and a penchant for podcasts, Thai food, Premier League and pop-psychology. I've been renting in Newstead for the last four years and would love to stay central, if for no other reason than to feed my specialty coffee habit... Prior to that, I've lived in plenty of sharehouses and would consider myself a veteran at this point: tidy and respectful but keen to build a great culture everywhere I go. Let me know if I sound like a good fit, would love to meet you.
Hi, I am Laura, 26 years old and from germany. I am studying biology and came to Brisbane to write my master thesis. I expect to stay around 9 months and I really looking forward to it. I am open minded and hope to meet up with some nice people who can show me australian lifestyle.
Hi, my name is Johannes. I am a traveller from Germany, 28 years old and currently stucked in Brisbane. I studied Biotechnology (Master) and just started to work at a Research Institute in Brisbane, so it looks like I will stay here for a few month. I'm looking for a private room in a shared flat/house. Preferentially with pool and gym in the building. I'm an easy going person who lived in a shared house for several years before. I'm a clean and tidy flatmate, who respects others in the house. I like to socialise but still enjoy quiet personal space. My hobbies are traveling, gaming, photography, video editing and I´m always up for a drink. Looking forward to hearing from you. Contact me here or via SMS: 0491 012 439 Cheers, Johannes
I work full time in marine biology and in my free time/ weekends, I spend it mostly outdoors or testing new recipes in the kitchen. During long holidays you can find me scuba diving, rock climbing, swimming or finding a mountain to hike up. I love meaningful conversations, occasionally enjoy my quiet time after work and am happy to have dinners together if you're keen. I am also pet friendly and usually head to the morning markets on weekends for good food, music, and seeing some furry friends.
I’m a very friendly person to welcome people home from being out all day and hope to get the same from the people I live with! I’m easygoing, like to have a chat, dinner or a couple drinks with my housemates but understand that people also want some downtime to themselves too. I’m looking to make friends so would prefer a more social house who feel comfortable to hang about together in the house and have a laugh together! On the weekends I am usually with friends heading to the coast or having a few drinks, or maybe just having a chill one on southbank.
My name is Ellie and I'm a 29 year old professional who works full time. I'm an easy going person who is very clean and tidy. I'm a very social person, but this is usually time spent going out with friends and family.
Fairly quiet and enjoy all things sport or music. I have done my fair share of living with others and so I know how! I will be studying, socialising, and working... basically just living my very best life! Currently looking for some cool people to share the journey!! Would be keen to move anytime after New Years, preferably later January.
