Hi, I’m currently a full time student studying my last semester in Visual Arts at Southbank. I also work part time as a a coffee shop. I'm friendly and creative and tend to keep to myself, but don’t mind occasionally sharing a meal or hanging out having a wine. When I'm not working or studying I love exploring, yoga, running and creating art. I also venture to the Sunshine Coast quite a bit to visit family. I’m a vegetarian, environmentally conscious, as well as contribute to cleaning and appreciate living in a tidy space. I’m quite an easy going person to live with and look forward to meeting you! :)
Hi there, My name is Farrukh. I recently moved to Brisbane for work and lifestyle and looking for a nice place and some nice people to call house mates and friends. I work full-time, I love to go out for dinner and a sneaky beverage. I am very social but not a drunken idiot. I am respectful, quiet and enjoy books, TV shows, movies and trips to the beach. Happy to have a conversation and dinner together or keep to myself. Looking forward to meet you.
Hi, my name is Jaime and I am looking for a place for me and my dog Daisy to live. I am 24, working full time, studying psychology part time. My weeknights are typically spent relaxing at home with Daisy or out at my partners house (Daisy would typically come with). Weekends are generally spent either socialising or being a homebody doing things like cleaning and cooking. We are looking for an LGBT+ friendly and dog friendly place to live. Daisy is a well trained small dog (about 8kgs) who is very sweet and loves a cuddle. She doesn't bark much, just occasionally when very excited or when she hears neighbouring dogs bark. She would be suited for either house or apartment living (as long as there is an outdoor balcony she can have access to when home during the day - would pay to get a temporary dog-door installed if necessary). We are looking for housemates who don't mind socialising a little when at home together but can also respect personal space.
Hi, My name is Gavin, I am 17, turning 18 on the 11th of June this year. I have finished high school at Yeronga State High and am looking for a place to live at for 12+ months until I can find myself a suitable place to live along with getting more work. I'm a drummer, sports person and I love working with production stuff. I currently serve on the Production Team at Life Church in Salisbury and am doing Leadership Academy for 2019 where I will be becoming a Youth Leader for this year, and more years to come. I will be out of the house on the following days of the week from 9-5 due to Leadership Academy the Diploma of Leadership at Alphacrucis College - Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. I am looking to stay with someone who has roughly the same interests. Regards, Gazza
I work full time Monday to Friday so I will be out for most of the time during the week. I like to keep things tidy and am easy to get along with. I am looking for a place in the inner city, preferably with my own bathroom, but am flexiable in that regard. If you have any questions feel free to ask.
hey there :) My name is Jordy, I'm a Canadian trans girl and former student. I'm very respectful when it comes to another's possessions or property and tidy up after myself and just generally around the house when needed. I mostly like to keep to myself although would definitely like to be in a situation where I could be friends and socialise with my housemates. Current goal is to get work by the end of the year. Would love to be living somewhere that is LGBT+ friendly.
Hi, my name is Dale, and I'm a 29 year-old Nurse. I'm looking for a place to stay that's a little closer to work. I love music, good food, good company, technology, chilies (I grow my own), and football (soccer). I would make a good housemate, because I am clean, self sufficient, honest, and I don't need a reason to help someone, which I think is a hard quality to find in people these days.
I am usually off on my own in my room but I am always welcome for a chat or hangouts especially when invited as I can be a bit shy. During holidays I tend to add a bit of chocolates or such to share with people, and in general happy to share meals. I love animals so I am mostly looking for sharehouses with dogs (Especially dogs), Cats, and birds, or all three. I am currently looking for a job, however I am on disability pension and have lived in sharehouses for seven years paying rent exactly on time and all bills as well.
Hi, I'm Miranda and I'm looking for a long-term place. Please note that I will be moving in right after I come back to Brisbane from my holiday on feb 12th. My priorities are safety, easily access to Coles/Woolies/Aldi and bus or train station. I'm friendly, easy-going, clean, and up to a chat but still enjoy my own time and respect others' privacy as well. My budget is not above $200 per week. Including all bills is more appreciated. If anyone has any information feel free to hit me up. Cheers
Hello there! Here are a few quick points about me: • I will be working at the University of Queensland as a researcher/postdoc. • I work about 6 days a week • I have lived in shared houses most of my life in both the UK and Germany • Not much of a party animal, more into good wine, good food and an interesting conversation • I am an excellent cook with a repertoire that has been tried and tested succesfully in countless dinner dates over the years. • In terms of hobbies: I love chess and cycling and I plan to start going to the gym in a bit more regular basis. I also enjoy dancing and I have taken classes in salsa and hip hop over the years. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What I am looking for: • Shared accommodation with one-two more people. • a neat tidy and organized property. • I would prefer to live in a non-smoking property, as it would help with my efforts of quitting smoking. • I love animals, so living with pets is not an issue. • My ideal flatmates would be the kind of people that I could share a glass of wine with, would be easy going, tidy and have sense of humor. • I am looking for a place I can call home, and ideally would like to stay there for up to 4,5 years. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As I am currently in the UK, I will be looking for a videocall inspection so I can get a feeling for the property and we can see if we feel we would be a good fit. Thanks for taking the time to read my ad!
Hello! I'm a French girl and I will go to the UQ for 4 months (May to August 2019). I will be there all week and if it's possible I would like to discover more the weekend! I'm great to live with, I like when it's clean, organized. I don't think that I have a very good English but I will be happy to discuss with you, but I also enjoy my own space. Ideally, I would like to go to the UQ by walking, but I know that it's difficult to find something perfect. I'm currently at home (Reunion Island, a French department in the Indian Ocean), so it's complicated for me to find a home from a distance. At the moment I'm mainly looking for ads that interest me and I hope to visit them when I arrive in Australia. I'm looking for a room to rent homestay or in the best case a roommate (exclusively with girls)! My budget could be revised upwards if I consider it a good deal! I hope I have given you as much information as possible. So to summarize: - the closest to the UQ to avoid spending on public transportation - room to rent or roommate with girls - in my budget These are the three most important points for me!
Im tidy, friendly and open minded. My family moved quite frequently due to my father's work so I've lived around the world so im pretty chill with almost everyone. Also studying engineering so you wont see much of me during exams! Love to gym and have a few drinks to relax.
Hi I'm Raymond. I am moving from Townsville to Brisbane in January for work. I'm an engineer working in the medical field. I'm clean, quiet, and I enjoy my privacy, but am always up for a chat. Ideally looking for a chill place with one or two housemates. I'm flexible with location, but ideally looking relatively close to the city or public transport, preferably the trains. I work full time but in my spare time I like to catch a game of footy or cricket, chill and watch some Netflix, and catching up with friends.
Hardworking and friendly. I like to stay busy during the week but also enjoy time to myself when I get the chance. I’m a great person to live with. Will pay my rent but will also never be around that often. I’m clean, tidy and considerate. I don’t like cleaning up after other. And don’t like loud obnoxious humans. I love dogs.
I'm clean, organised and have a steady income. I would consider myself fairly simple and have lived out of home before. I have a 9 to 5 job, my own car and my main interests include Fitness, Basketball and Computers. Looking for somewhere close to the city or within 15 minutes of public transport to the CBD.
I am a visiting research student from Vienna, easy going, open-minded and accustomed to flat sharing, plus I am neat, clean and not a gadfly. I am sociable, but I also like to spend quiet evenings on my own. If you are interested in having me as a flatmate, I would be happy to get in touch with you.
We are a couple working in full time jobs. Im working in Finance and my partner as a carpenter. We love the nature and our new hobbie is play tennis. We are looking for a quiet and nice place to stay 6 months or longer.
