I'm career driven, and work a 7 day roster, so between work and friends, I'm not home a lot. Easy to get along with and enjoy actually getting to know my fellow housemates as opposed to locking myself in my room. My specialty is putting on a casual Sunday BBQ or roast for the crew, if we ever find ourselves all at home together. I've just transferred to Brisbane (from Fremantle) after travelling the world and I'm looking for a place that has easy access (walking or short train/bus ride) to South Bank for work as I haven't replaced my car yet.
Hey! my names Abhi (pronounced like ah-bee), I'm 28 and I'm generally always looking for a good time or a reason to smile. I work in speciality coffee and have managed to make a career out of it. I'm moving up to Brisbane from Sydney with hopes to start my own cafe. I'm an early riser and enjoy a bit of exercise when I can be bothered. I love meeting new people so I'm looking for a pretty social/respectful house hold to reside in. I have a dog (big-lazy-beautiful lick you to death mutt) and she's amazing. Ideally id move somewhere that has a yard so she can come with me but I understand that may be a bit of a challenge so depending on the situation I may just leave her at home with my parents. :( I don't really know what area to live in to find what i'm looking for but I do know that most of people with corporate jobs would consider me a hipster. I enjoy the company of creative people/hospitality workers. I'm really into film, digital photography, cooking and watching movies. A really close friend of mine lives in Brisbane and has a room I can stay in while I look for a place so my start date is quite flexible. If you want to FaceTime or Skype with me before meeting up I'm fine with that. Ill be up in Brisbane on Thursday May 4th through to Saturday 6th if you would like to meet up with me.
***Please be aware of the move date*** I am a teacher, currently studying my masters full-time. This means I am home a lot when not working (short-term contracts), visiting family or travelling. For the most part, I put most of my energy into my research. I am looking to share with 1 or 2 like-minded females (or landlord couple/family). I can live with: * females (quiet, respectful) * non-smokers (non-negotiable) * no partying, excessive drinking, etc * drug-free household * a cat I want to live somewhere where I feel safe and comfortable. Basically someone who has a lifestyle that doesn't impose on mine, or impact my overall well-being. I appreciate others with similar values, and are considerate of their housemates. I have a long-term partner who lives away for work, so no random overnight guests on my part. I like: * a tidy home * tv/netflix/board games/reading in my downtime, I am sociable but a frugal introvert at heart * hikes and walks in groups * cooking (but this is often a once-a-week meal prep) * yoga * sense of humour * people who are down-to-earth - not afraid to communicate in order to achieve balance and happiness in the house. If sharing with a landlord couple (preferably separate living spaces i.e. upstairs/downstairs) - I am able to pay my rent well in advance in exchange for a rent reduction. I know you have bills to pay too so if you're looking for a reliable income, I can give you that piece of mind!
Spend a lot of time at work, flying as a WSO in an F/A-18F with the Air Force. I love music; playing guitar and singing. I love sport; AFL, NBA, EPL...you name it really. Clean up after myself, but still laid back and keen to live with someone similar.
Hey, My name's Jay and I'm a 21 y/o student looking for a new home around inner Brisbane. I'm a graphic design student studying at Griffith. Big fan of hanging out and tend to go out a fair bit, so if you're similarly inclined, that's awesome. That being said I am also well aware of the importance of quiet time and can easily respect your needs for it. I love my music and dabble on the guitar, as well as illustrating for my hobbies. self-sufficient, clean and tidy for the most part and can appreciate that in a household. Looking forward to hearing from you. Cheers.
LOOKING FOR A ROOMMATE -TOWNHOUSE ALREADY COVERED! Between full time work in the resources sector and sport/gym, I'm not home much through the week -but when I am there, I'm clean, respectful of others and always up for a chat or Netflix sesh! On weekends I am more likely to be up early and outdoors all day rather than out partying all night. I'm fairly relaxed but due to my lifestyle and living arrangements, I am not looking for a roomie who smokes, has pets or is a couple. If you think we might be compatible, then please feel free to message me about the place!
Im an graduated engineer doing a Master of Economics in UQ for 2 years. I'm a 25 years old chilean looking for a place to stay through this second semester. My hobbies include traveling, trekking, climbing, pianos, videos, soccer, gamming.
Hey Mates, My name is Kevin and I am from Germany. After I passed my Bachelor Degree I have worked the last three years in a full-time job to save money to realise my dream of studying and living in Brisbane. I am going to do a full-time Master Degree here at QUT. Therefore, I am looking for a furnished, modern apartment/room close to QUT Gardens Point campus. What do you get? Let me tell you something about me. I am German, I am a social, friendly and humorous guy who likes to meet new people and spend time with them. I am always tidy and set value on a clean room/flat. It must not be sterile but I want to live in a clean and decent home. I am definitely not noisy but like to have flatmates who respect when I have to learn or need some rest. During my free time, I love to spend my time out of the door. This means that I like to do a lot of sports. I play football and soccer, like to go out for a run/hike and to have a BBQ with friends. I am a member of a local sports club here in Brisbane and love to attend at some social activities at uni. I am always open-minded to new things and want to spend time with you and other new friends. I want to have fun and a great time with you! Another interest is my affection to travel and to see something of the impressive, scenic environment and places here in Australia. I love to travel around, explore new places, do some trips and have an adventure! If you share the same bias, awesome! I would love to fill every minute I can afford with memorable moments! However, I am really motivated to do a great job at uni. During the semester, I work hard to get good grades. Thus, I will spend a lot of time in the library or in my room during busy days. If you want some time for yourself or want to learn together, get some advice or stuff like this I am open minded. I am not only looking for some nice flatmates, I am also looking for friends. That means for me to learn something about you, to help you and to spend some time with you and the other mates. From my point of view, it would be great if we have the same interests and can do something together. I would especially love to live with some locals to learn something about you, your culture and get in the touch with real Aussies. Do you like my personal description? Do not hesitate to contact me! I have lived the last months at Kangaroo Point and looking to move in into my new home around the 12th of June. I am convinced that we can have a great time together! If you share the same point of view it would be great to get an inspection. My current contract runs out at the 12th of June. Therefore, I am looking to move in around this date! I would love to get a message from you! :) I am looking forward to hearing from you. Cheers Kevin
I am really easy going, super tidy and I am looking for somewhere I can call home rather than somewhere I'm renting. I love to meet new people and I am very approachable. I have an active healthy lifestyle and try and eat well ...... just dont put biscuits near me or thats it! I like all kinds of music ...just not that heavy metal ish... and love a good car karaoke (think more smelly cat than mariah carey). I love exploring new places and enjoy a good road trip, I am looking at living with single gals ideally :) I will be looking to move to Brisbane around the 26th June 2017!
Shaun and Jesse are a couple that have a 2 year old Cavoodle named Rufus, and I have an 11 year old Spoodle named Amber so you have to like dogs. We are looking for a place South of the river that can accommodate our furry friends and we would all like to move as soon as we can find something. Preferably only looking for 1 other person to move in with as we like our privacy and peace. We don't mind which gender.
Easy-going,care free, love to have a chat. Working as a full time PhD student.Would like a female housemate or a team up with a chilled out female, who likes to work and keep a healthy and clean surrounding
Born and bred Australian; I am a part time manager of a retail store and study Engineering full time. I spend most of my time at uni or work, but I am social and very understanding of people wanting their space. I relax to a bit of reading and music and I always love to learn new things. Communication is a big plus and I don't shy away from talking. I manage my money very well and I try to be professional in all that I do.
Hi there, My name is Guusje, and I am a 25 year old girl from the Netherlands. I am currently doing my master internship at the QUT, and will be working on this project till half of July. I am a social, and easy going person, and during the weekends I would like to undertake some trips. Would be great if some roommates would like to go with me on some trips! Love to hear from you, when you have a nice room available! Cheers
From Costa Rica, work 6 d/w so I'm almost never at home.. do enjoy a nice chat with flatmates and the occasional diner and wine :) Can teach you Spanish and you'll get to try delicious latin food everytime I cook. Pretty organised, and very mindful of personal space. Looking to share a flat with no more than 2 people if possible. Non-smoker, I have no pets but don't mind if you do, love the outdoors and salsa dancing.
Love travelling, dogs, soccer, coffee, socialising. Of course clean, respectful and easy going. Relocating to Brisbane mid June and keen to meet some fun people with similar interests! I am currently job hunting for full time work (confident I'll land a job before I move) and also study accounting externally. During the week I work and study, weekends I'm usually quite social but also need some time for...more study 😒 I'm not a great cook so won't hog the kitchen. Ideally I'd like to team up with a 2-3 other like-minded people to rent a house together somewhere nice close-ish to the city, I'm not really fussed on a suburb. Won't be able to move in until the 15th of June at the absolute earliest.
*Unfurnished room wanted near the PA hospital. Long term stay* I'm looking for a cheaper place on the Woolloongabba side of the PA hospital where I work 4+ days a week. When I'm not working at the PA I work events at Suncorp Stadium, and I also am a photographer's assistant. Outside of work commitments I spend my evenings relaxing with a game (PC or board games), Netflix or a few beers with my housemates. On weekends I usually take off to my partner's place or a national park. I come flexible with a full apartment of furnishings, though the only things I am attached to are my bedroom antiques and a few pieces of cookware (I love to share my cooking). If your place is furnished I will make arrangements for my remaining furniture. A place to lock up my bike is preferable.
Hi, I'm Amanda, 23, studying business at UQ. I moved from Melbourne last year and am an experienced, friendly flatmate. I am looking for somewhere quiet and comfortable where I can come home to study and relax. I love coffee, cooking and running. In the evenings I like to go to the gym or enjoy a wine and relax with a movie. I'm considerate of other peoples space but am always happy to chat. On weekends and in my spare time I like to head up to the coast or to the bush to hike. I'm looking for somewhere riding distance to university.
Aloha! We, Nora and Marius, we are both Master students from Berlin, and are looking for a place to stay for the next two months. We are both very open minded and are looking for lovely flatmates as we enjoy cooking and good conversations. Let's talk about us: I'm Marius, 26, and am currently working at UQ in a research project. I'm into climbing, hiking and I enjoy outdoor sports such as beach volleyball, biking and surfing. I really like photography and want to get more into videography as well. I have a strong interest in nature and traveling and am looking forward to meet great people. I'm Nora, 25, and a literature student. I'm into modern literature as well as photography. I started climbing in Australia and hope to get a little more practice while I'm here. I want to get more into yoga again and explore as much as I can. We are curious to meet you, so please get in touch :)

We both are very clean, easy to get along with, love to chill out and making new friends :) I have a part time job as a bartender at the Caxton hotel, Jacob is a full time bar manager at the Southbank surf club. Both from Brisbane and love to relax and hang with friends on our days off.
