Hi there! I'm a bubbly and friendly 19 year old Aussie girl looking to move out of home. I currently work part time but am looking for a full time job to start asap. I'm tidy and quiet but would love to be able to have my boyfriend stay over occasionally. I don't smoke and i barely drink.
Hi there. i'm a tradesman and plant operator, looking for a relaxed place with chill people. i'm a considerate and clean guy who loves cooking and sharing a meal with his housemates. i work fulltime, 6 nights a week, so would prefer housemates that are a bit more mature, and are past the "party house" stage.... :) I AM LOOKING FOR A HOUSE ONLY, NOT AN APPARTMENT.....
Hi, we are a lovely couple in our early thirties. I am a full time student doing a Master Degree in Peace and Conflict Studies at UQ, St. Lucia Campus. My partner works at an Italian restaurant in the CBD. We are friendly and easy going. We are looking for a shared house with like minded people preferably in West End/South Bank/Milton to move in around last week of January. Please text me if you are looking for the same. Cheers, Mong
Hey! Firstly, I'm not needing to move until January. I currently work fulltime at Mount Coot-tha and I've been living in Taringa for the past 3 years. I enjoy eating out, going out, having a drink after work, music festivals and going for runs along the river - or just staying in and binge watching netflix. I'd need to move mid-January, ideally looking to stay around Toowong/Taringa (train line / bus line) - but pretty flexible. I have my own communal appliances and furniture to bring with me if needed. Shoot me a message if you would be interested in starting a new place or if you need a spot filled and we can grab a coffee - Thanks!
Hello! Names Payce Williams and I come from Alberta, Canada. I am looking for a place to call home in the Brisbane area for the next 3-4 months while I look to obtain my real estate license. I am looking for a nice and quite area away but to be fairly close to a bus and/or train station in the area. I am a very fun and lovable individual that keeps his personal and work life separate at all times. By the moment you met me you'll see that I am a energetic and well spoken person who loves a good laugh and cherishes friendships with due respect. I am currently seeking part time work while I aim to gain my realtor license within the month of December. Please feel free to contact me any time if my listing intrigues you to get to know a fellow Canadian. Thanks Eh!
I am a very sociable house mate who is lookin for somewhere to stay in Brisbane for a few months. I am very tidy and appreciate other people's space. Looking to live with like minded people
Hi I'm Elinor I'm moved to Brisbane from SA at the start if the year for uni ( I'm studying a Masters of teaching at UQ) and looking for now I'm looking for somewhere closer to uni to live. I'm a friendly person keen to live with someone who I can chat with and be friends with but also mindfull of personal space and boundaries. I'm clean and tidy and happy to help with household cleaning
Clean and tidy, I have a clean as you go mentality. I enjoy hanging out with my housemates, and hope to find a place where you're not just people I share a house with but friends I share a home with. I do however spend a bit of time in my room and keep to myself so I'm not going to be in your face but happy to do dinners together (I can't cook, be prepared to eat raw unflavoured food, I apologise in advance) or casual drinks at home on the weekend. I'm a first year accounting student at QUT, I'm currently doing 2 units over summer - kill me, why did I do this to myself? I also have a border collie puppy so we need a pet friendly share house with a large fenced backyard (preferably tall fencing, as I think she's going to be an escape artist). Mia is currently 5 months old, she's a clever little monkey and wins everyone's hearts. It would actually be fantastic if there was another dog to share with too. A bit more about me... I'm Irish Filipino, grew up in PNG but have been in Brisbane for 18 years so technically I really grew up here! I go to the gym several times a week, I have been recovering from a few injuries lately so it's kept me at home. I'm the type of person that will push myself at the gym but later go home and eat an entire pizza.. I have no will power. If you eat clean, please show me your ways lol I'm single...I don't want to live with couples or single 40+year old men, nor families. Just like-minded people my age that are dog friendly would be amazing :)

I work in hospitality in bars and at the entertainment centre. I am clean, polite, sociable and reliable. Like going to gigs, meeting new people and also enjoy my quiet time watching TV and beach to relax. Non smoker. Thank you.
We're two friends looking for an apartment in the city, so we can stay close to our school. We are friendly, fun, very organized and we like to live in clean homes. My friend is swedish and I'm brazilian. We love to go to the beach, all kind of sports and also to stay home with some friends.
Hello! I'm looking for a room to rent while I continue my study at Griffith Uni. I'm someone who enjoys having a chat in the kitchen, perhaps with a glass of wine so I want to move in with people I will get along with. I also enjoy my time alone so I am big on respecting each others spaces so don't worry about that :) I'm a tidy and relatively quiet person and I enjoy to bake occasionally. I do spend some time out of the house usually on weekends at my boyfriends place so I won't be home all the time. Mostly just looking for a household I can live comfortably in while I continue my university career :)
Looking for people to share a house with around UQ! We are tidy and friendly and keep the house clean as much as possible. We are both 23 years of age and we have a sassy cat names Olive. I am commencing my master of Environmental Management in Feb and Rory is commencing his master of Exercise physiology in second semester. We like to keep to our selves but also love a good movie night. We don't tend to go out very much as we will be very studious. We like to spend our spare time outdoors on adventures and at the beach. We both live a healthy life style, of no smoking, eating healthy and exercising. Let me know if you think you'd like to have us or team up for a new share house :)
I'm Jack! currently living in Kenmore and looking for a place in or around the city to live for a minimum of 3 months. I'm self employed and usually out of the house for at least 5 hours a day. I like to stay pretty active, love getting out of the house on little adventures but at the same time love just chilling in the house watching a movie or playing some video games. I'm generally out and about all weekend. I'm a closet nerd and a massive fan of all sports. I cook all my own meals but happy to have a couple of shared dinners a week. I'm always down for a chat, movie, workout, or a trip down the pub! Looking to move in on the 10th of jan but happy to move in earlier. Cheers!
Prefer to share with only 1-other person and have own bathroom. I'm a minimalist who likes to live without clutter. I am quiet, respectful of others people's property and privacy. Non-smoker, non-musician, no children and have no pets. I'm prefer the quiet life and am not a party animal. Love dogs but allergic to cats. Professional freelance graphic designer who works occasionally from home. Looking to study chemistry in 2017. I like cycling and need storage for two bikes. I also enjoy travelling and hiking. It'd be nice to share with a like-minded person who values good health and wellbeing.
Hi I'm a singer entertainer that is currently working full time 6 days a week during the day. I'm very trustworthy, clean & tidy. In my spare time I love to go to the gym, golf & spend time in the studio working on my album.
Hey guys! Thanks for taking time out to read my profile 😊 Ive just started as Bartender at Bavarian Beer cafe in the city & have just moved here. I'm usually pretty quiet love to read and write, sleep most days and am up fairly late at night. I would need someone that is either a shift worker like myself or someone that is okay with that. I've just moved from the gold coast and have left my party life behind so no major raves will be going on when you get home from work. 🖒 I loveeeee to cook like lovelovee, I cant drive or swim/ do anything remotely adult like other than feed myself, work and pay my bills. 😂 I'm super keen to even find a place with a couple of genuine down to earth people as I have a heap of furniture in storage. But if not thats perfectly fine! I'm sincerely trying to revamp my life for the better and meet new people around here. Message me if you would like to chat/ have anything you think would be suitable for me ☺
I'm currently looking for a room to rent in the surrounding suburbs of the CBD The hardest part is having a dog with me. If anyone has a place that is pet friendly please let me know. She will melt your heart, doesn't smell, loves attention. She normally just sleeps around when I'm not home. I Live an active lifestyle and walk her a lot also. I work in a bike shop and ride my bike a lot, so I spend a lot of time relaxing/resting in my spare time, but I have many hobbies and interests so enjoy being social also. I'm 27, and have lived in many share houses before so I know the general run down and expectations. I have a full time job, have bond and happy to add a little ontop of that for "pet bond". Preferably tall fences. Please if anyone has a room or have suitable for my dog and I let me know asap. Thank you
I am a postgrad medical student studying in UQ and am currently actively looking for a place closer to the hospitals. I am mostly quiet keeping to himself but sociable when things are happening. Normally I don't party. Never did drugs. Don't smoke. I am also tidy and cleans up after himself. I work as a casual online tutor with a lot of savings - enough to last me till I graduate in 3 more years and start being an intern, so rents and bills are never a problem. I also have my own car, so parking is essential (can be on or off street).
Im a 22 year old Male who will be studying full time in Southbank. I am ex Army and consider myself extremely clean and organised. Ive recently backpacked Europe for 6 months and love getting to know people from all over the place. Im looking for fun friendly and motivated housemates who like to keep the place clean, interact with each other and want to make the place a home and not just a sharehouse. Male or Female doesnt matter aslong as we all get along well and respect each others privacy and what not while in the house. As much as ill be busy studying through the week i wouldnt turn down a few drinks and a fun night out with my housemates. Can cook also :D look forward to hearing from you !!!
Hi, So little about myself, I’m originally from Switzerland but lived in the US for over 10 years. Been in Brisbane for 4 years now and will be graduating in July from QUT and then will be working full time. I’m currently working full time so really like to enjoy the weekends by going/hosting some bbqs and also lots of hiking and camping. Im also a great cook and enjoy heading to markets to get my dinners and lunches. I’m really laid back but definitely looking for a cleaner house to move into. I have all my own furniture so not looking for a furnished room, I pretty much also come with a kitchen which if not needed I can store somewhere else. If you think you got a place I'm interested in send me a message and let's grab a drink to see if we all get along well. Looking not for just a place to live but also some friends.
Im a music student, super social and easy going! Cleanliness and communication are important to me when looking for a room mate. Almost always up for meeting new people :)
I've been renting for 5 years already, able to keep a place tidy. I'm able to cook, have my own furniture and am not too loud. I study engineering and science at UQ while also working part time. I'm looking for a place close to public transport with sociable and friendly people.
Howdy. I'm a third-year student studying a BA (writing ext. major) at UQ. I'm an avid reader and wordsmith, I publish zines and comics, and I volunteer for community groups as well as organise events. I'm usually pretty busy, so I'm looking for a quiet household where housemates chill at home and go out to party. somewhere where housemates share a healthy level of tidiness that isn't casual grubbiness or enforced tidiness. I need need need housemates who like chilling out in communal spaces but understand, also, when a housemate wants to be alone. I... - Have furniture: bookcase, cabinet, desk, drawer, couch I sleep on (would like to buy proper bed), side table, 2x coffee tables, 5x odd table chairs. - Require storage space. - Am allergic to cats and dogs. - Love vegetarian and vegan food, and don't eat much meat (but still do). - Am attracted to men, but don't identify as one. - Like to be camp sometimes.
Hi, I'm sarah and am looking for somewhere to move into ASAP. I need a furshied room close to the city with ideally a flexiable contract. I've just moved over from the UK on a working holiday and looking to settle in Brisbane. Thanks Sarah
Full-time professional, fit, healthy, clean and tidy, animal friendly, studying part-time. Prefer own bathroom and car park in a new/near new complex within 5km of the city. Pool would be a bonus!
Driving from Melbourne is exhausting, looking for a place to re-engergise... I work fulltime. Some days, I work from home. I'm also finishing off my engineering degree. I love getting outdoors/on the water and will most weekends. During the week, things are chill. A gym session, or cheeky wine and netflix, that sort of thing.. I prefer the dynamic of a sharehouse, so I want to keep it going with 2-4 other people. Sneaky drinks or cooking dinner together seems like a obvious thing to do for a happy home. Desides having rad housemates, other important things are single car worth of garage space for my windsurfing gear and other stuff, and proximity to the hills, the bay and/or the gym. Look forward to hearing from you soon!
Hi I'm Bek, 21 years old. I work full time as a Paralegal at the moment and am looking for an apartment or house ideally near the city. I don't smoke but I do drink on the occasion, easy going and clean :)
I'm in my final stages of my Engineering degree, looking for a place to move out to. I've lived in Brisbane most of my life, so know my way around, and I seem to enjoy reading and gaming (the non-gambling variety). I am a bit of an introvert, but generally get along with most people.
I'm a graduate Linguist working Part-time the in CBD who is returning to full-time uni once again! I'm a great cook, love the gym, vegan, musician and an overall chilled out person. I'm happy to live with singles, couples, kids, pets, smokers [though I am not one], everyone and everyone as long as we all get along!
I've recently finished University on the Gold Coast and am looking to moving to Brisbane as I am starting Full Time work late January. I have lived in a share house for the past 4 years. I am quiet and tidy. Although I do enjoy being able to socialise with my roommates. I am looking to either move into an already set up place or happy to find a new place with someone new!!
Hey! We're a bunch of UQ undergrads who are looking for a 4th person to live with next year, close to uni and public transport. We don't party too much (getting close to finishing our degrees so studying takes up most of our lives) but we're always up for some sneaky drinks and we do like the bachelorette (rip courtney) and cool dog group and gymming and donald trump memes. Between the three of us, we already have plenty of the furniture a house needs (from previous sharehouses), but we'll always welcome any fab decor additions such as nice fake plants or funky rugs, but yes hit us up if you're interested! We would prefer to move after new years, but we're all really flexible and we can always sort something that'll suit everyone :)
I'm respectful and clean (besides my room on the occasion) as well as being out going and caring. I'm a musician, but I'll always consider everyone else when I play and mostly use my headphones. I love having conversations whether about conspiracy theories or vegans or just about anything in depth. I tend to be busy a lot of the time so I love to enjoy myself on the weekend, whether going out to the Valley or having some drinks at home. I smoke, but I'm also trying to quit and intend to fully quit but at that I don't mind being around smokers etc. Best thing about me as a room-mate if anything is I that I keep to myself and tend to be 'invisible' most of the time, but at that I promote others to come and talk to me or to chill with me. Just because I'm sitting in my room watching Netflix with my door shut doesn't mean you can't come tell me about how shit/amazing your day was...
I am an exchange student from Canada who likes to have fun, go out, explore the city, meet new people, try new things, do 'outdoorsy' activities, and workout. Though I like to go out and have a couple drinks on the weekend, I also take my school work seriously. Overall I am a very laid back chill person with a sense of humour, as well as I am tidy (but not anal) and respectful of other people's things. Making friends with my roommates is an important aspect for me.
So I wanting to move out my current place by the beginning of January. Most of my friends aren't in the position to move out with me. 😒 I'm looking for 2 or 3 people to move into a house and call it our own. Based in Paddington, Milton, Red Hill, Ashgrove and Wilson. So if you are interested please don't hesitate to message me and send me your details. Let's hang out, get a coffee or a cocktail. See if we gel and all that jazz. A little bit about myself. I like getting into mischief :) I would consider myself a social bunny. I'm always procrastinating doing my uni work and rather be hanging out on the deck with a drink in my hand or literally anything. I'm easy going , open minded and creative person.
I am easygoing, social, tidy and make a radical roommate. I moved to the Sunshine Coast this year and have just come to the end of my current lease. I'll be looking for a place that has laid back roommates and a cosy atmosphere. For disclosures purpose, I smoke very occasionally.
Hi! I'm Anna! I'm from Melbourne, looking for a place to stay in Brisbane as i'll be over for 12 weeks for work. Pretty laid back and easy to get along with. Lover of chocolate, wine and karaoke (even though i can't sing!)
Hey there! I'm Amanda. I am a super outgoing chick here from Canada to study. I start another program in Feb so looking to move in sometime in Jan. I love to paint, make music, dance and photography. My passion in life is conservation and animal welfare. I've had great experiences living with housemates. I've lived with two sets of housemates through both degrees now, and am so happy to say they are all still close friends! I am neat and tidy and enjoy living in a clean household that we can all be proud to call home. I love green spaces, open airy households and would ideally like to have a Master bedroom with an ensuite or a shared bathroom with one other person. So stoked to live in the city! I want to live somewhere where I can access the city, QUT/Griffith and south bank easily via bus. I'm also looking forward to exploring the city. I'm always up for some sporadic adventures, whether it be a trip to the beach or a movie night over a glass or two of bubbly. Looking forward to making friends. I'm interested in long term leases only (6mo-1year+). **Will have a pet sun conure from time to time later on in 2017. He is very friendly, trained and an absolute sweetheart to be around**
Hello!! My name is Gabby and I am a female I work full time for an online health company! Besides working I am always off exploring Brisbane city eating avo on toast or going to local gigs. My hobbies like most young 23 year olds are Watching Tv series Hanging with my family Riding my bike to my friends house Hanging with my boyfriend I am clean and tidy, not a big party gal anymore (the older you get the hangovers get worst) Once I move in, I am on a two week holiday in Japan with my boyfriend! Please message me if you think I am an eligible house mate :)
I'm quiet, responsible and keep to myself. I do enjoy a drink or a night out occasionally but most of the time I love my private space. However I'd love to help out with anything if you need.
Hello stranger, I currently live in Paddington and work full-time in South Bank and am wanting to keep pretty close to South Bank for convenience purposes. I work in digital marketing and am quite creative. My lease is up end of Jan and everyone from the apartment is moving on. I have my own bedroom furniture. The apartment I'm in right now I found on flatmates a year ago. It's an epic place but everyone's moving on. More than happy to ask for references if that's your thing. A little bit about myself and my lifestyle... Full-time work keeps me busy and I love keeping fit. Bootcamp and gym take up quite a few morning/evenings during the week. I travel a bit with work and while the weather's warm I like to head coastal on weekends. I'm very social but with my hectic schedule also love my down time. I'm quite a chilled person and am open to negotiation when feeling out living with new people. I'm looking for people who have their own thing going on but are friendly and will be nice to come home to. If what I've written appeals to you, feel free to reach out. You can ask me anything. Sib :)
Hi! I´m moving from Norway to Brisbane to study at QUT in 2017. I am looking for a private room in a share house/flat place from the 15th of february. I love being active, but I don´t mind just relaxing with a few drinks or tv shows. Overall I would say that I am a pretty relaxing, tidy and easy going person. It would be preferable to have roommates around my own age (18 to mid 20s), but I can get along with pretty much everyone.
Student couple looking for an easy going, social household to enjoy our time outside study and work with. We both attend UQ, and work seperate jobs. We enjoy sport, socialising and cooking. Whilst we enjoy quiet time and our own space, we would like to find a home with like-minded, relaxed and social people. Please let us know if we sound like we would suit your place and we'd love to inspect!
Hi, I am Megan. I am a Registered Nurse at RBWH. I work shift work, so I come and go at all odd hours. Interested in teaming up to find a new home/apartment with someone who is reliable and clean yet super chilled. I'm pretty laid back, always up for a chat. However I do have a bad habit when it comes to chocolate or anything sweet ☺️ Looking to move within the next month or whenever the right place pops up.
Hello, my name is Celine and I am 20 years old, from Norway. I will be an exchange student at QUT the 1st semester of 2017. I study engineering and i take my studies seriously even though i also like to have fun and go out in the weekends. I´m really looking forward to get to know Australia and Brisbane. I´m respectful and understanding as well as tidy and clean (even though a little mess every now and then never will be a big problem for me). I am very active, social and outgoing and I´d love some new friends who can show me the city! I´m looking for a private room in share flat/house with roommates around my own age (early/mid 20). I´m looking for some social roommates, who also are interested in getting to know me and sometimes do some activities with me. As i said it would be nice if you also had some sense of tidiness and respect, but I also like to socialize and have friends over in the weekends so it would be nice if you are fine with that (or are joining in). So hopefully you want a new flatmate and friend, like me, to share your days and apartment with! /Celine
I study maths at UQ and I'm a pretty social person - I enjoy going to the beach and going out, and I also love chilling and watching netflix. I also can respect privacy and value time alone as well as keeping my room and house clean. I'm looking for a place with fun people who can be respectful but are also keen to hang out and/or have drinks on the occasion
Hey guys, My name is Dave, and I am a young professional moving down to Brisbane from Cairns for work. I'm starting a new job in mid-January next year and am looking for a place to stay at for a few months to a year. Likes include gymming, salsa dancing and socialising with my roommates. That said, I can respect that you need your own space as well. I'm clean, quiet and considerate of my housemates. If you have any questions, feel free to flick free a message!
