Terence Lim and Joseph

We’re Terence and Joseph — a couple in our late 30s, originally from Sydney and currently looking for options across both Sydney or Melbourne. I freelance as an Art Director, so I work from home most days, and Joseph works full-time. We’re both pretty grounded, respectful, and easy to live with.

We’re big on a healthy lifestyle — regular gym goers, early-ish risers, and we genuinely value coming home to a calm, tidy and relaxing space. We cook at home often, enjoy good food, and love a cosy night in just as much as the occasional dinner out with friends. Creative projects, design chats and good conversation are always welcome — but we’re also very comfortable doing our own thing.

We’re social-but-independent people. Friendly, open-minded, and warm — but not into chaotic sharehouse energy. Clean, respectful of shared spaces, and very mindful of noise and boundaries.

Ideally looking to team up in Melbourne (Collingwood, Fitzroy, Richmond, Cremorne, East Melbourne or Carlton), or Sydney (Darlinghurst, Surry Hills, Potts Point), with a budget up to $600pw (as a couple). We’d love to live with someone similar in age and vibe — independent, tidy, and easygoing. Not a party house, more a grown-up, calm, considered home.
