I just moved down from Canada (Toronto) and am ready to explore Australia for at least a year (hoping 2 or more) Right now I'm just trying to figure everything out (only been here for a few days and still need to find work and place to live) but I can't wait to start exploring Sydney and meeting new people. I'm super chill and relaxed and am here to have an amazing time. Love exploring, hiking, swimming, pretty much anything outdoors. Was working as a bar manager back home, so I definitely like a busy lifestyle :)
Hi! My name is Skye. I am looking for a flat share around Sydney CBD or Eastern Suburbs. I work full time throughout the week and enjoy going out for drinks/food or going to the beach on the weekends. I’m a permanent resident so ideally looking for a place I can live long term. I am pretty easy going and tidy so looking for like minded people!
I'm 42 but most people think I'm in my late 20's. My typical social circle/circle of friends consists of people 25-40 and I really don't fit the typical image of what you may think my age implies. ;) I've been living in my current place - a hostel - for months. Go figure haha. I just got a job in Chippendale as a Software Engineer and am looking to move out of the hostel asap. 🙂 I am German but have PR here (looking to apply for citizenship soon), and I have heaps of experience in living in share houses! I'm really sociable and never really keep my door closed but I do know when to give people space and how to respect their privacy. Basically, I'm looking for a new home and new friends to live with. There are a lot of people who just want to share the cost but have no interest in the people they live with, but I want a place that will be a home with people who show interest in doing stuff together. And I'm looking for a place where the rent is shared fairly and where people enjoy staying with others and being friends with their flatmates. I play a bit of guitar and work on my app ideas in my free time and am otherwise quite busy at my job at the moment (just started 3 weeks ago). Apart from that I love the beach and hanging out with friends, cooking the odd meal with my future flatmates, and all that stuff. I also (used to) scuba dive and would love to learn surfing and play soccer and foosball again. If that all sounds cool, maybe let me know if you want to meet me in person? Cheers, Andreas

Hey, I'm Shane. I'm 30, Irish, single professional.Recently moved to Sydney. Pretty easy going, tidy, friendly and a respectful housemate. Enjoy socialising but appreciate personal space also. Unfortunately I have cat allergies, so prefer a place with no cats
We are a young couple looking for a nice and cozy apartment to share with maybe one or two other flatmates. We are very clean and organized, also very easygoing flatmates. We like to cook, whatch TV series and do outdoor activities. We don't smoke.
Hi there! I'm an easy going, friendly and independent gal from Germany who's looking for an apartment until late January of 2019. I'm currently working as a waitress to fund my travels around the East Coast of Oz and I'm trying to get to know interesting people from all walks of life while I'm at it. My interests are all over the place but what you should definitely know about me is that I'm a huge bookworm, literature nerd, law student to-be as well as a martial artist of several years and fighting styles (so if you ever need a gym buddy, hit me up!). Being a big culture enthusiast and foodie, I love getting to know new things, trying out stuff I wouldn't be able to back home and finding people who share my passions.
Have received an offer for full-time work in Sydney at a marketing agency with a move date as soon as possible. I currently live in Brisbane and start the new job on the 26th of November, ideally looking to move in on the 24th of November. I won't be able to fly down before the move in date, so the best way to organise an inspection will be a facetime/skype call. I'm 24 years old and am finishing my degree over the summer, studying Fashion Communication & Marketing. I'm creative, sociable and friendly but like my solo downtime just as much. I enjoy the beach, coffee, a cheeky wine and exploring new places - so excited for new adventures in Sydney! I've lived out of home since I was 18 and know how to pull my weight in a share house. Looking for a place close to the city, sharing with other friendly, sociable people. :)
Hi I'm Gilad 36 yo, arrived in Sydney for work one month ago. Will be happy to find a place to live with people in my age or about.
I’m Anna, I’m an IT student here in Sydney, I work for merivale in events, so my schedule can be a bit over the place. A lot of the times I’m arriving home quite late but I’m very respectful of others around me. I’m social person but usually outside of the house, at home I’m a really chilled and private person although Im very happy to hang out with housemates. I’m also a very tidy person. My partner and I love to spend time together but we are often over at his house so we can cook and hang out, but occasionally it would be nice if he could come and visit. I’m really hoping to find a nice comfortable place to call my own. I’m flexible with the location, as long as it’s not too far from Sydney CBD
Hey there, I am a 26 year old human with a tiny sidekick, Frankie a dollar the rescue fox terrier I love to cook and am very tidy, since I tuned 26 the hangovers have become terrible so I am pretty tame! I work 5 days a week and am really respectful of personal space, if you don’t feel like chatting and just want to mung out in front of the telly that is fine by me. If you are up for a wine or beer after work though I am always there! Frankie the dog is very well behaved, toilet trained and not a barker. She doesn’t get along with other dogs though. She has become used to the cat in my current house but it did take a few weeks. In my down time I am reading, cooking, cleaning or frequenting markets or pubs. I work in the music festival industry as a community and decor manager.
Hi there, My name is Yazan and I want to be your flat mate!. I am a professional, working full-time as a project manager in engineering consultancy and a part-time PhD student. I have moved from Dubai to Sydney back in August, before that i used to live in Leeds, UK. I am usually described as neat, clean, quite and a social person with a great sense of humour. I also do respect other's privacy and would pay the rent on time. Important to me: you’re nice, you keep shared spaces clean, we are close to public transport (my office is near Wynyard Station) NOT important to me: your Gender/Orientation, your Race/Religion, and your age. Sharing a home is all about courtesy and common sense. My Move in date can be earlier. Cheers
Hello :) :) :) I am great to live with as I have lived all over the globe, literally, since I was a kid! I was a Diplomat Brat and have been to school in places such as Singapore..Indonesia & NZ.. The list goes onnnnn and onnnnnn. As an adult, I caught the travel bug and am an online coach and travel the world with my son, aged 3. He's a pretty chill dude, and very respectful of furnishings and space, as he has been to 11+ countries since 6 weeks of age, and more airbnbs than we can count! :) I am currently in Glasgow, UK. Returning to Sydney and wish to stay LONG TERM , ideally 6-12 months in a house, (hopefully longer if we get the right dynamic). I work from a co-working space (The Hub) during the week, and my son attends a preschool 4 days, with a view to 5 in January 2019. We are out and about A LOT (coworking space events...parks..playgrounds...all the free events Sydney has to offer etcetcetc). I have to say that I can afford our own place, and I did this pre moving to the UK, but honestly, after living with people again, I can see my son and I thrive on it and it gets pretty isolating as a solo parent! I'm a pretty chill person. In saying that, I like to tidy up, clean, and cook a lot! (Don't worry, I don't care if you do or not, I just like to ;-). ) *SUPER OPEN MINDED *RESPECTFUL *RELAXED *LOVE COOKING *FINANCIALLY STABLE *SOCIAL *SUSTAINABLE *DIRECT & AMAZING COMMUNICATOR (no passive-aggressive post-it notes or txts, ugh) *LGBT friendly *Great music collection, particularly DRUM AND BASS! I get that living with a 3 year old (***HE'S THREE, THE THING WOULDNT LET ME ADD HIM UNLESS HE WAS 16 YRS OR OLDER-HAHAHA) is not everyone's idea of an ideal housemate, and yet I encourage you to meet us, and then judge for yourselves! I come with good references and referees, as does my little dude, just ask :). *I also have a fair bit of furniture (dining table/butcher's bench/couch, artwork) which is in storage in Sydney at the moment, from our last home. I guess I'll tell you about my favourite living arrangements that seemed to work best for us: BERLIN WAREHOUSE *We had a massive room and ensuite *The house was full of DJs and artists (perfect for my son to enjoy company and they were always making noise themselves, so didn't mind much what he was up to) *we got to be social and have company, but also enough space to retreat when we wanted GLASGOW HOUSE *This was a small space with one other gay woman and her cat. She worked a lot at a bar. When she was home, we were social and shared a vino or three while my son played. Will miss this place!! My son loves all animals and loves giving the dog a walk if you have one ! Spaces that DIDNT work: * People who are allergic to kids (they exist) *Toxic people who are low vibe and negative *If you communicate passive-aggresively via sms or post it notes and have no communication skills *Uptight/super anal people *If you are a light-sleeper (sometimes he wakes up at 5am, that's kids for you) ---Haaaa! That's what earplugs and wine are for riiiight? Looking forward to hearing from all the high-vibe lovers who'd be keen to setup a great space together or already established a space for us to add to! X Pixie & Zen
I am an adventurous, down to earth female working in the auditing environment. I enjoy spending time with people but also enjoy some down time, I also like keeping things neat and tidy. I spend most of my spare time reading, hanging out with friends and family or watching series. I am looking for like minded people who are keen on making a new friend.
I am moving back to Sydney after living in Canada for the past two years and Brendan is coming to brave the spiders from Canada on a Working Visa. We are both very friendly, fun, clean people who love a glass of wine. We love cooking and sharing our food with friends and bonus Brendan is 6'5 so he can reach all the top cupboards. I work in Media an have been working for a Radio station in Vancouver for the past two years so will be looking for something similar when I get back to Sydney and Brendan is in marketing and will be looking fo the same when he arrives. Looking for a fun, friendly environment to call home.
Hey, I'm a 24-year-old Music Producer moving to Sydney from England on a Working Holiday Visa 21st November. Staying in a hostel for two weeks, so will be able to move in somewhere 6th December! I'm a Clean, Tidy & Easy-going guy. I like to have fun and socialise, but also enjoy my own space as well. Looking forward to meeting new people, and the right people to start my Australian journey with!
Hello! My name is Bella. I am a 25 year old full time nanny, also studying psychology online. I relocated to Sydney from Perth about a year ago and absolutely love it. I’m a pretty relaxed housemate- I’m clean, active, respectful and reliable. I’m really social, I love to catch up with friends and have a solid group of girlfriends that have also relocated from Perth so I’m usually out on the weekends doing my own thing, but because I work long hours (6.30am-7pm week days) I’m looking for a place I can come home too and feel settled and relaxed, rather then a party house. I also work weekends in retail, so I’m looking for somewhere to live that is pretty relaxed and can feel like a home ☺️.
Hey guys I’m Dona, originally from Italy but I’ve been living in Sydney for the past three years and always in the inner west; I love the area so I’m now looking for a new place to call home. I’m definitely not after a party house but happy to have a glass wine and chill at home, I’m tidy, clean and respectful of other people space and needs. I work and study so I’m pretty busy during the day. My budget is up 250$ per week and I'm after a private room (no sharing).
Hi potential roomie, Im looking for a place for me and my very sweet cat Jet-Lee. Im a Paramedic working full time in the city and on my days off I usually fill my time with staying active, exploring different restaurants, catching up with friends/family or recharging from work with the usual netflix/games/reading. I have lived in a few share houses over the years and understand the importance of respecting other people space and pitching in around the house. I am by no means anal about having a spotless place but will clean up after myself and clean common areas when they get a bit nasty. Id describe myself as an honest and easy going girl with a good sense of humor who doesn't mind a glass of wine or 3 with dinner or some arvo ciders in the sun with my housemates. I also enjoy spending time alone, especially after big days at work. As mentioned before I do have a little cat who is such a sweetheart. She doesn't bite or scratch and loves a pat. She is an indoor outdoor cat and sheds next to no hair. She is very low maintenance and gets along with dogs who are nice and chill. I'm looking to move into a house share or to team up with others and get a nice place of our own to stay long term. Just after other easy going people like myself that would not mind being pals as well as housemates. I basically have a full house set up with fridge, furniture and washing machine but I dont necessarily need to keep if its not needed. Let me know if you're keen!
I'm looking for a short term let from end of November to start of January before I move into my place. Bit about me - I moved over the UK 2 months ago and I currently work in digital for Westpac. I'm a sociable kind of gal - always up for a laugh, cooking, going to the gym and of course socialising over a gin or two :) Very clean and tidy, plus can bake a mean cake!
