I am a current postgrad student at Usyd, I am doing a creative writing program. I like my space, write constantly, thus spend a lot of time on my own, but at the same time, I enjoy communicating and connecting with people, just in smaller doses :) I am tidy and also like to cook.
My name is Karel Verpoest. I'm 23 years old and currently living in Belgium. I will be doing an internship at Conversant Media this summer. A company located at Surry Hills Therefore I'm looking a place to stay in Sydney this summer. I speak English, Dutch, French and a little bit of Italian. So I like to live in a multinational place. I like to hang out, but I respect everyone's privacy. I hope you can help me out. Kind regards, Karel Verpoest
Hi, everybody! I'm Cristiano, but you can call me Cris! I'm 40 years old and arrived in Sydney in 2016! I'm a brazilian architect studying project manager and working in a part-time job. My interests consist in learn about the Australian culture and habits. I can cook, but I'm not a masterchief (I can do the basic for survive). I love culture (music, books, movies) and big fan of the 80's. I'm a organized and quiet guy, however I'm always up for a chat and share some experiences with other people. I'm also respectful, open-minded and honest. Have few food restrictions (not for religious, but health reasons). I don't have pets, but I enjoy cats and dogs!
I'm a Brand, Creative & Digital Strategist about to move over to Sydney from Auckland for a new role with an agency in Surry Hills. I've lived in New Zealand, Hong Kong and Amsterdam in the last 5 years and looking forward to adding Sydney to the list. I'm a social creature and would love to live with people who are keen to have a glass of wine or two after work, but definitely not looking for a party house!
Hi there! I’m a friendly working professional in my mid 20s and am relocating from Brisbane to Sydney to start a new job. I am respectful of people’s privacy and enjoy some alone time but also would like a flat mate who would like to share an occasional meal or wine together. I wouldn’t be in the space much during the week as I will be working full time Monday to Friday and most likely at the gym or networking events in the evening. On weekends I’ll be relaxing, brunching, beaching and exploring beautiful Sydney! I’ll also be travelling back to Brisbane on the weekends quite frequently so you’d have the place to yourself often. I enjoy cooking, binging on Netflix and chilling out when I’m at home. My home is my sanctuary so I do most of my socialising with friends outside of the house and am very clean/tidy.
We are Claire and Ben, a mid-20s British couple who have just arrived in Sydney. We’re looking for a short-term let (6 to 12 weeks). A little about us: we work in the media and finance, eat lots of good veggie food and love dogs and music. We’re sociable folk who like to chat to our housemates, share occasional meals, red wine, blah blah blah. The usual stuff. We’re on the hunt for a room to move into ASAP so please drop me a line if we sound like your cup of tea and we can arrange a viewing soon. Cheers!
Hi guys! I'm looking for a private room with ensuite. Im a fun easy-going positive girl. Im really clean. I've lived in four countries and love to travel. I also love fashion, outdoors and healthy food. I like to spend my free time exploring Sydney, going out and also chilling at home :)
Easy going af. During the week I work extremely long hours so probs wouldn’t run into eachother too much. I guess that means perfect excuse for a catch up over a wine on the weekend ;) Ideally just need to be near public transport to get into the city easily enough. Keen to move ASAP if the right place comes along. Also looking forward to meeting some awesome new people. Main requirement is just a private room so I can watch my chick flicks and eat a pizza. But I mean we could do that together in the lounge room too aha.
Hey there, I’m Jack, British guy currently working in Sydney, currently looking for a new place to live. I would say I’m pretty friendly, respectful of others’ space and respect quiet time in the evening for sleep. I’m pretty easy going and would be looking for similar. If my profile sounds of interest, please drop me a measage. Cheers!
Hey! I'm a friendly British girl who has been abroad for the last year and a half. I love yoga, cooking, going out for food and drinks or staying in and watching movies. I work full time in the city. Currently living in Coogee but looking to move house as I want to find some fun housemates to hang out with 😊
FLEXIBLE On move in date and rent as I am looking for somewhere that I love and lucky not to be in a rush! ME: I'm a 30 year old who works full time in infrastructure comms, hours being 9ish-5ish, with the occasional late night and some regional travel. I'm pretty social and get out of the house most evenings if only to go to yoga or something. At home, I alternate between being social and hiding in my room with a book. I stay up quite late most nights, so you may hear me creeping to the fridge to stare at the contents before convincing myself it's way too late for a snack. WHAT I'M AFTER - MUST have my own bathroom or ensuite. - Must have decent sized built-in wardrobes. - Ideally some kind of parking solution. - Prefer not to live with a couple. Also, would really appreciate air-con but as long as there's decent insulation not a big deal! YOU: Gender or sexuality wise - no preference. I just like friendly and genuine people as I am the same. (Fair warning - am rather grumpy in the morning). I'm looking for somebody considerate and straight to the point (blunt even) so that little household issues don't turn into hurt feelings and instead get resolved easily. I.E. if you think I'm being crap or my tv is too loud or whatever just tell me and vice versa. - A non-negotiable quality is the desire/willingness to keep shared places clean, particularly the kitchen. Open to a cleaning roster if that's easier, or maybe even a cleaner. (Victim of post-traumatic share stress disorder on this issue) - Ideally somebody I can talk to/joke around with so that we can have a comfortable balance of doing our own thing and interacting. GUESTS : - Not open to a "party house" but definitely need everyone to be able to have friends over for a gathering occasionally or an unplanned overnight guest (common sense/consideration being key.) FOOD SHARING AND FURNITURE: ◦ Happy to share any bulk food items - I cook pretty well but it's not a hobby of mine. Would consider a room with a bed in it depending on the quality of the bed, as I plan to buy a new one. PETS Love animals but would only consider a breed that doesn't shed if living indoors.
Hello! I am a research scientist who works throughout the week. I go to the gym most days and try to stay active so I can eat all the maxibons and soft cheese. I love a weekend wine and a weekday tea (or a trashy Tuesday). I have lived in a place with a lease for the past 4 years and have most household furniture and am happy to look for a new place together with someone and sign a new lease. Currently live with 5 others in a huge place and am looking for something a little cosier.
Hi my name is Joel. I'm looking to rent a room in a houseshare/flatshare arrangement or to team up with possible flatmates for joint rental. I am not looking to share a room. House or flat, can share bathroom, don't smoke, furnished or unfurnished. I don't own any pets. References from previous landlords. Proof of income if required. Broadband internet connection required. I’m happy to split water, electricity and internet bills equally. A little bit about me: I’m a full time student at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music studying Music Education & Classical Guitar. I work at a music tuition business 3 days a week in Penrith, I teach guitar, bass and music theory. I also sing in a choir and work with a children's choir. For those worried about sound levels: Classical Guitar is quite soft and I mainly practice at uni or work. I’d like to have easy access to Circular Quay where I study and Penrith where I work and many of my relatives live. Happy to provide a criminal record check or working with children number if you’re interested. Potential flatmates who are open to a discussion about criminal record checks may be more competitive in my considerations. This would only apply to issues that may be relevant to living together, records that may be irrelevant to that are not my concern, I respect your privacy. Contact me for further information. We can meet up no obligation and can also talk budgets and other details. Take care, Joel
I am a clean and organised person. I am pretty independent but happy to share dinner and sporadically-drinks together. I love meditation, so a quiet place is a quiet home to be. - In my free time, I spend time editing photos and working on different creative projects. Please feel free to ask me any questions. Whiling to rent for a minimum of 6 months :)
My name is Natalie and I am looking for a short-term rental to live in, while I keep searching for a longer-term place to establish myself in Sydney. Ideally the place should be close to public tranpsort and grocery shops. I have more than 10 years of renting experience, therefore have a high standard for maintaining peoples privacy, cleanliness and sanity. If you're reading this and are interested in teaming up in an unfurnished place - also let me know!
Hello there.... I’ve just secured a full time senior position here Sydney, office is located on George St, CBD. I'm married and from Brisbane, we have our own house there, my wife has full time work in Brisbane and shall not be moving to Sydney, hence the reason for a sharing a property. I'm 52yrs of age, none smoking and enjoy a social drink after a hectic day at the office. I shall be returning to Brisbane once a month to visit my wife and family. This new role is long term till 2024. Sydney is a complete new city for me, so on my time off from work I’ll be keen to explore this amazing city of Sydney. So if the room is suitable, I’d be happy to talk more with you In more detail. Kind regards, Ian
Hi, My name is Vivek and I just moved from Seattle for work. I am a full-time IT engineer in a MNC and recently transferred to Australia. I am a simple easy going, down to earth guy who is fun loving as well. I like to travel, explore new places and make new friends. I like my own space but I am always open to friendly conversations. I tend to keep the place around me as tidy as possible so that's what you can expect from me. Requirement: A train or light train station within 10-15 min walking distance or with a frequent bus connection to such station.
Moving from Adelaide to Sydney. Couple. Non-smokers. We come as a package deal, but we've been a couple for over 10 years, so no need to worry about PDA or silly fights; we're very easy going. I work in professional services and work long hours, and when I'm not at work I'm at the gym (so you'll hardly see me). Zach works in the environmental science area, but is a muso at heart. We both love going to gigs and sinking a few cold ones. Looking for somewhere close to public transport and a short commute to the city (and new friends). If you think we'd make a good match, please get in touch
I'm fun, well travelled and a great chef! Like intelligent conversations, having a beer or two and exploring the world. Originally from Sweden but have been living the past 8 years abroad. Been living in Sydney since 2015 and working full time as an assistant manager in a restaurant in the CBD.
Hi Flatemates, I am a French woman who worked before in France but I wanted to try an other lifestyle, here in Australia to learn English and live new experiences. I arrived 6 months ago and traveled a lot (Sydney, Melbourne, Great Ocean Road, Tasmania, West Cost, New Zealand). I really enjoy Sydney and would like to settle here for a while. I'm a student in an Event School. I am a very active person and enjoy sports a lot! I did a lot of hiking and climbing during my travel. In Sydney, I do a lot of bike, basket ball and runing. I really enjoy cooking for others specialy French recipes. I love so much music and I go out to dance. I lived for six years in roommates in France, and I love that! In Sydney, I need to improve my English and I want to live with several anglophones. I am a very dynamic, smiling and confident person. You will not be disappointed! Feel free to contact me if you need more information. Hope to see you soon. Emmanuelle
I'm a 27 year old professional who just moved to Sydney from Los Angeles. I work full time at an ad agency in Woolloomooloo so I'll be out of the house during the day. I'm easy going, have a good sense of humor, and have had roommates for the past 7 years so I'm good at sharing space successfully.
