Hi! My name is Harshita and I'm currently in the U.K. doing volunteer work for a charity where I live in a shared household with adults with learning difficulties and autism and I enjoy working with them so much! I support them in personal care, helping to keep a positive atmosphere in the house! I've been volunteering here for almost 2 years, it feels like I've made a big family. If I have to describe myself, I am quite a sociable person and very easy going, I love doing crafts and I spend quite some time decorating my room (people say its like a meditation shrine haha). I love taking long walks and cycling in the countryside and I get quite eccentric in the kitchen as I love experimenting with food and looking at cookbooks (imagining that I am a chef but in reality I'm not). Nevertheless, I love trying new recipes and keeping things alive in the kitchen! I am moving to Sydney in September 2018 to pursue a masters degree in social work. I am really excited to start my adventure in Australia as I've never had the opportunity to travel there before! I'm looking to find some nice people to share a flat with (Sydney is such an expensive city)! I do hope to find some nice people to live with!! :)
I'm a full time working professional (sometimes will work from home). I like to cook and bake, and enjoy grabbing a few drinks after work. If I'm not catching up with friends over food I will be chilling at home on the weekends with a wine or two.
Hi everyone, I found a nice room to move in the 29th of July but I need a room for the week before. Anyone has a room for the 22nd - 29th July? Close to the city. Thank you!!! Hi, I'm Gabriela, 30, and I'm looking for a nice single room with a big bed in a close distance to my work. I'm working as a waitress in Darling Harbour, usually 5 days during the week including weekends. I'm a very positive, friendly and active person. I like walking, travelling, sport (gym - especially pilates, tennis, swimming, bike, etc.), cooking, seeing friends over dinner or drinks, taking photos and many others. I consider myself as a responsible, clean and ambitious person. I don't mind having pets. I prefer bright rooms with a good wibe to feel like at home. The place must be clean and well maintained. I’m also looking for a long stay accommodation with some nice people to go easy along with. I’m getting my new 2-years visa. Thank you in advance for contacting me :-) Looking forward to meeting new people. Gabriela
Hello Everyone, I am looking for an accommodation in Sydney between the 1st of September to the 16th of October. A little bit about me, I work in the hospitality industry. I arrived in Australia last October from London where I spent 2 years. I am looking for a cosy place to call, home. I am always keen on sharing a dinner and a glass of wine in the evening but also like to respect other's privacy by having a quiet time from time to time. During the weekend I like to take some time to go out, enjoying a ride on the ferry, meeting friends in a new restaurant or bar to try it out. Big fan of soccer and squash I usually try to have one session per weekend. I hope to have the opportunity to come to have a look and if things are well to share a bit of my time in Australia with all of you.
We are couple who are organised but also very relaxed. We respect people’s privacy and space as we would want the same but are very socialable and would love to have flatmates that we can have fun with. We are from Edinburgh and are here on a 1 year Working Visa.
Hi guys, I'm 30 years old professional who works full-time in Finance (in CBD). I have been living in Sydney for 5 years now. I would call myself very clean and tidy person (have a bit of OCD with cleanliness) and respect other's privacy. I prefer quiet and chill weekends to recharge my energy as i usually work long hours during the week, and I am definitely not a party person. However, don't mind to have a glass of wine and share daily news with my flatmate after a hard day's work. I don't like to cook, so you will rarely see me in the kitchen. In case if you need a reference, my current flatmate with whom I've been living since i came to Australia, I believe wouldn't mind to provide some feedback. The reason for me to leave the current place is due to our apartment being sold. What I am looking for: - 1 Flatmate who has a full-time job, tidy and nice. - My budget is $350 (incl bills). - Need own bathroom. - My place needs to be near the train station. - I will move in on 11th of August’18. If you have any questions, just send me a message. Thank you! :)
28 year old gay guy, currently working in banking. Originally from Perth, but have lived in Sydney for 2 years now. Loves the beach and recently very into F45. I Enjoy heading out to the bars just as much as staying in and watching random tv series on Netflix. Somewhat addicted to some reality shows, but who isn't?! Tidy and enjoys a clean house and knows how to clean after himself. Can be very social at times but at the same time I can happily spend time alone.
Hi guys, I'm a 30-something gal looking to move into place in the Eastern Suburbs. I'm a lawyer with a pretty active lifestyle. I'm quite busy during the week but on weekends I like going out, hanging out with friends and doing sport. I've lived in share houses for a while, so it goes without saying that I'm clean, tidy and respectful of my housemate's privacy. I'd like to live in a place where my house feels like my home, and where I can have a chat, a meal and glass of wine with my housemate/s. In terms of timing, I'm looking to move between 1-15 September. If it sounds like I could be a good fit, please get in touch. Cheers, Niro
I'm a young professional working full-time in the CBD and looking for a great place with great people. I love cooking, working out, and having a few drinks. Looking for roommates who are social and fun
Looking for a private room. I am a student, in my fourth year of study. I'm Australian, and have lived in Sydney for 3 and a half years. I like to socialise and get to know my flatmates, but I also enjoy my own downtime as well. I am friendly, tidy, respectful of privacy, and whilst i'm on-the-go quite a lot during the uni semester between uni and work, I love a comfortable home space. I am studying a double degree of Law/Criminology, so I can get pretty low-key during busy parts of the semester, but I do like a wine and movie night, or beer and the footy is cool too. For the past two years I have shared an apartment with a friend and its been sweet, but I am looking to move closer to the city in August, can be flexible with dates. Also keen on teaming up.
Hey Guys! I am a nice, fun and friendly person who is moving to Sydney to complete part of my course! I like to go on adventures, try new things, meet new people, go to the gym and just live life and have experiences. Even though I am only 19 I am mature and have lived in this environment before and always pay rent on time and clean up after myself. I am interested in team ups as I am sure we all relate to the challenge of finding somewhere to live in Sydney. I'm not too good at writing these but please let me know if you have any questions and feel free to message me.
Moving out. Have a balanced social and work life. Fun, chilled and sociable, easy to get along with. Photographer by trade but work predominately in marketing now. Located in Leichhardt for work. I'm a clean and tidy person. I don't often cook so kitchen will probably be all yours. Love travelling, music, casual drinks, brunch, running and chilling with friends on the weekend. Looking for housemates on the same level.
Hello! I'm an American student hoping to find a place to stay in Sydney. I'm interning for a small consulting firm in Edgecliff so I'm looking for a place near there or Bondi Beach. I am clean, active, and adventurous looking for a culturally immersive experience.
Grad architect looking for a cool place (own room) and people to live with. Mature, friendly and reliable. Have been renting for the past few years, have seen and experienced all kinds of things, been a housemate, landlord, caretaker myself. If you can read this, then I'm still looking! Have big items such as a car, a mattress, and a big cork table so preferably not furnished, and a flat driveway for parking or off street. Always busy with something but wouldn't mind a few drinks (coffee preferred) and what-not. Speaks Mandarin and Malay and some other useless dialects too. Would like a place where I can sleep normally too. No room sharing! I don't really have any preference as to location, and you can see I have thrown in heaps of places that don't quite connect the dots. Contact me if you are looking for a superstar. Not a premium member so I can't message listing that are recent.
I’m a Canadian coming into town to work for the Invictus Games 2018. I’ve never been to Australia and I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to work and live in Sydney! I’m mature, quiet and enjoy a great meal, travel, live music, reading, movies and getting to know people. I love to be outdoors as much as possible. I am a great flatmate because, frankly, I work a lot and love to be out of the house exploring! But when I am at home, I’m considerate and friendly. I’m tidy, happy and I play well with others. I've found a place but it's not available until 21 Aug. So I'm looking for a short term place between 26 July and 21 August.
Hi there 😁 My name is Alexia, I am half French and half German. I grew up in Bangkok and I love to travel. I recently moved here and would love to start a new chapter of my life, starting with finding the perfect place to call home with some lovely roommates. I love to cook (can’t promisss it’s always going to taste amazing) and most importantly I am a very clean person. A nice and tidy house is a must. I love to socialise and getting to do things together on a weekends. Bbq, board games, Netflix, going out in the city, going out of the city for a weekend, chilling by the beach :). I’m very open and like social activites. But I like my privacy and quiet time as well, especially in the working days. Back home I was a freelance makeup artist so I am quite a creative person. I’m more of a cat person but I love dogs too.
I'm a very respectful and tidy roommate. I love pets. I'm originally from California and am very laid back. I spend most time at work but like to cook often and have dinner with friends. Looking for roommates who are social and open minded. If it sounds like a good match message me.
