Hi! I’m Jason, a Master of Data Science student at Monash Clayton currently working on my research thesis. To keep busy (and keep the bills paid!), I also work casual shifts at The Good Guys. I’m moving out of my uncle’s place nearby and looking for a long-term, stable home closer to my own routine.
What I do for fun
You’ll often find me on a basketball or tennis court when I’m not buried in data at the library. I also play guitar—don't worry, I’m very mindful of the volume and usually stick to acoustic or headphones when I am using my electric guitar/amplifier! I’m big on health and nutrition, so I’m organized in the kitchen and always keep common areas clean.
Where I'm from
I’ve been based in Melbourne for a while now, originally coming from an engineering background before moving into data science. I’m well-settled in the South-East and know the area well.
What I’m looking for
I’m looking for a quiet, respectful, and friendly household—ideally with other students or young professionals who value a "peaceful sanctuary" as much as I do.
Reliability: I’m happy to sign a long-term (12-month) lease and have a steady income to ensure rent and bills are always on time.
Vibe: I’m quite busy with my thesis, so I value my own space, but I’m always up for a chat over coffee or a casual house dinner every now and then.
