I'm a university student from Japan (studying Business/Economics) currently on a Working Holiday visa in Sydney.
Work & Lifestyle:
I’m taking a barista course and will be working a mix of day shifts at a cafe and evening shifts at a Japanese restaurant. My ultimate goal is to open my own cafe in the future! In my free time, I love going to the gym, going shopping and trying out delicious restaurants, and exploring local cafes for inspiration.
What makes me a great flatmate:
Clean & Respectful: I like to keep things clean and always try to be respectful of shared spaces. I always clean up the kitchen and shared areas after using them.
Social but Independent: I love cooking healthy meals and will use the kitchen frequently. I enjoy having friendly chats and sharing a meal or coffee together, but I also highly value everyone's personal space and quiet time.
Flexible & Easy-going: While I have my preferences, I am generally very easy-going and happy to adapt to the house's vibe and rules. I’m also happy to follow house routines and communicate openly if anything comes up.
Quiet Hours: Because of my early cafe shifts and night restaurant shifts, I would really appreciate a generally peaceful environment during early mornings and late nights.
What I'm looking for:
An all-female house with around 3 to 5 flatmates.
A private room with plenty of natural light (a sunny room is my favorite!).
An ensuite/private bathroom would be a huge bonus, but I am totally fine with sharing if the house is a great fit.
I love animals, so a house with pets is absolutely fine with me!
