I’m a 55-year-old professional looking for a secure, comfortable 6–12 month rental while I prepare to buy. I have a very stable rental history, having rented from the same landlord for the past 16 years, and I’m now looking for a new place because the house I was living in was sold and I wasn’t able to purchase it.

I’ve been a St Kilda local on and off for around 16 years, so I know and enjoy the area. I like travel, art, good food and the local café/restaurant scene, but I’m not a party person and prefer a calm, comfortable home environment.

I work from home around 2–3 days per week, but I also travel for work, so I’m looking for a place that feels secure and easy to return to. I’m tidy, respectful, reliable, and would treat the property carefully, especially if it is furnished or includes the owner’s personal belongings.

Ideally, I’m looking for a furnished or partly furnished one-property in or around St Kilda, with good transport access and a peaceful feel.

My budget is $600-$800 per week,
