My name is Delilah, I'm 26, bubbly, friendly and always willing to lend a helping hand to others. I'm a Full Time Psychology Student, studying online, however I am also a Yoga Teacher, seeking additional casual work also. I'm looking for housemates with similar kind/fun/laid back values and interests, who are clean, neat and that are more like friends with a relaxed and home-like atmosphere where at times you can sit down and have a laugh or a drink, put on some music, be a little crafty, watch a movie, share a meal (I love to cook/bake for others!) as well as understand the need for alone/study/quiet time, all without 'strict allocated shelves'. Just a comfortable, respectful, give/ask/take/replace mentality in a trusting and cheery environment. I love learning and my eyes light up at anything someone is passionately talking about and love to know more, for me I love fashion, history, photography, physics, film, all things creative. So sewing, making things and trying new things is what I love to do alongside being a little bit of a green thumb and taking care of my array of indoor plants (and veggie gardens if you have one!) I and have an amazingly no-fuss, house-broken and pretty lazy husky-malamute that is 4 and a half years old, she's super sweet, funny and turns houses into homes. Her name is Atlas and she gets along with everyone, especially other dogs as she's lived with other dogs in the past, we're always going on walks or having a cuddle but really she just loves to sleep and chill out in the backyard - we're all tidy, considerate and adaptable to the needs of others! I've mentioned 6 months however I am always happy to consider a longer lease if the living conditions are great for everyone :)!
I'm a retired film maker, producer, screenwriter and daily street photographer. I've lived overseas for the last five years, predominently in India and Norway. It's now time for me to be home in Australia. I have 2 grown children, am previously married so I'm exceptionaly well (self) house-trained. I'm a dog person, love cooking (and cleaning up after myself!), Netflix and my own space. I'm not a party animal, yet enoy the company of others. Non smoking is a given. I need to be in Melbourne for the next 6 months. I would normally rent an apartment, but short term lease is impossible to find. I'm highly atypical for my age, preferring to be amongst energetic, enthusiastic people who enjoy life. Yet I can also be quite solitary at times as I write every day and / spend a lot of time out shooting street photos, although a calm and peaceful home life is necessary. I'm financially highly independant and very reliable (with my own car and motorbike). I'm also highly respectful of others so expect no less, with good communication essential.
I've recently moved from Wellington, NZ after a few months of traveling Europe. I'm a 32 year old professional working in HR within the tech industry. I am super clean and tidy - I find life is a bit better when things are organised. I'm pretty social (I love a good catch up over a couple of drinks) but also respect others space and sometimes love to just have lazy Sunday's in bed.
Hi! Myself and four other girls are students from the UK currently studying at Monash University, we're hoping to find somewhere to live for the coming year. We're reliable, tidy, and we keep things clean. We're also very easy-going and friendly so would be very happy sharing with others, and most importantly, we're keen on brunch. Thanks! x
Hi there! I'm Candice, I'm 28 and I'm an interior designer. I am currently looking for a small share house within inner-city Melbourne. I love the sun, botanical gardens, produce markets and enjoy chilled rosé come aperitif hour. I also enjoy bike riding, so am hoping to find something within cycle distance to work. Cleanliness and tidiness are very important for me, as is being considerate of others. I am very respectful of other people, their spaces and belongings. That said, I know how to relax and have fun too. I would like to find a housemate who identifies with these qualities, and who seeks a friendly and warm home atmosphere.
Hi there, My name is Marni, I'm looking for house mate who is experienced with living out of home. I'm interested in a flat mate who is similar to myself, that share a positive, friendly vibe and are always up for a laugh. A house mate who also like to cook and have great standards in house etiquette. I'm not after a party house but i am interested in building friendships, in saying that i also do enjoy having time to myself as well. Sharing meals over a glass of wine and binge watching movies would be enjoyable - every now and then of course. (Being a 90's baby i'll always have a soft spot for the classics in that era (songs/movies) A little bit about myself, i am a Free-Lance Fashion Stylist. Every part of Fashion Styling, i adore. I enjoy finding new cafes to visit (breakfast enthusiast) attending Pilates/yoga and a new found love for grocery shopping at markets. Music is therapeutic for me so i may sing/dance around occasionally (Triple J's hottest 100, 90's classics). I am very much so a morning person, and i'm usually asleep before midnight. I also enjoy travelling, last year i took a Gap Year around most of Europe, my favourite places to visit were London, Paris & Barcelona. I enjoy cleanliness, eating healthy and I love watching DVDS (old school) Most of my time consists of, sourcing for photo shoots, reading books/magazines or working my other job in retail. Some TV shows i enjoy watching Friends,River-dale, Criminal Minds (loads more). As for films, anything featured with Seth Rogan, Jonah Hill, and Steve Carrell i find hilarious, as well as chick flicks & thrillers. I hope these few paragraphs have portrayed a little bit about the sort of room mate i'll be and which type of house mate i'm looking to live with! Look forward to meeting.
My current lease is up, and I'm looking for a chill place to live for at least a year, maybe longer if my contract gets extended. I'm easy to get a long with, and I'm a social flatmate-maybe sharing dinner or having a chat over coffee, or maybe even going for some drinks. However I also respect people's space, and understand if you're wanting to spend time alone. I'm pretty quiet during the week, I work and study. On weekends you can find me at the beach, doing something outside, or catching up with friends.
I just graduated from college in California, and will be moving to Melbourne in September to work at Caufield Racetrack full time on a working holiday visa. I enjoy going to happy hours with friends, hanging out at the beach, and working out. My work starts really early and I will be traveling some weekends, especially after Christmas. Right now, I plan to stay in Australia for 6 months, but may end up staying for up to a year. I am very organized, and appreciate when everyone puts in work to make sure their space stays clean. I played volleyball in college, so I love anything active/outdoorsy. Message me if you seem like a good fit!
Hello, Looking for a place to live whilst I finish my final semester at RMIT. I study and work in Communications, as well as a bit of music and dance performance on the side. I'm a real creative person, and would describe myself as an introvert, although I'm super open and happy to chat to anyone about anything. I'm into current events, ted talks, classic rock, electronic music, playing guitar and singing. I love keeping fit and going to gym everyday... So an occasional gym buddy would be a bonus! I'm tolerant and aware of personal space, noise and keeping things looking tidy. I'm also hoping to find a place that's close to a main street and train station.
Hi, I'm Emma, Frenchy, 24 years old, waitress/bartender. First, I DO SPEAK A DECENT ENGLISH even if im a frog so dont worry about communication haha im respectful organized and clean. Also love partying, sharing and drinking wine! Im a really easy going girl but i also need my privacy sometimes, anyway i think im mostly like anyone so lets just meet!
Im relocating from Adelaide to work for a city based company as a cost consultant. Down to earth, tidy and respectful. Enjoy trying out new places to eat, grab a good coffee, and relaxing at home. Love/hate feels with gym. Open minded to meeting new people. Travel when time and finances permit.
Originally from Manchester in the UK. I have moved to Melbourne to work as a GP Doctor. I work in Prahran. Already know a few friends in and around Melbourne, and my brother lives in Carlton North, where I am currently staying. I am very easy-going and laid-back, love socialising, enjoy sport and running. I have lived in shares before in the UK and whilst I would like to be friends with housemates and hopefully socialise together, I am quite an independent person, and I fully respect and understand the need for people’s person space! Also, love to travel, enjoy holidays and weekends away.
I'm 35 yo Japanese female have been living in Melbourne for 2 years+. I'm studying aromatherapy and also working as a massage therapist. I enjoy cooking, eating out, watching TVs or movies and sometime just being lazy in my spare time. I like having my own space but also happy to chat or have meal together, and always up for a glass of wine:) I like to keep house nice and clean, so I prefer someone who has same sense of sharing with others. I look forward to seeing future flatmate!
Hi I recently graduated and begun working full time 9-5 in St Kilda, so looking for a place near there. Grew up in Melbourne but just got back from living abroad for 8 months so have experience (short but still) sharing a space with others. I'm clean, friendly, respectful of privacy but also very laid back, I'm not bothered by a few dishes and I'm willing to share food/everything etc :)
Hey future flatmates, I’m Johnny! Very chilled, easygoing guy that’s respectful and considerate. My mum never had an issue with my room so I consider myself very tidy too. I’m always working or at uni so you won’t get to see me that often. But on my days off I’m always down to go grab a bite, binge watch movies or even do a hike if you’re up for it.And if you’re lucky , I’ll even cook for you. Look forward to hearing from you guys!
Hello! My name is Lois, I am 21 years old, studying a Bachelor of Laws full-time and working part time. I'm very lighthearted and easy going, not much bothers me and I am always up for a laugh. I'm very respectful of my housemates and their privacy but also enjoy sharing a meal or drink. When I'm not working or studying I am pretty social and enjoy going out for a few wines with the gals or staying at home with housemates to binge watch Kardashians or Bachelor in Paradise. I also enjoy going on hikes and try to make it to the gym as much as possible. I am tidy, clean and good with housework. My rent is always on time, as are my bills. I have good rental history from previous house shares and rentals and am happy to provide these references for you. I'm a settled person and a bit of a homebody at heart so I am really looking for somewhere I can settle into and make home. I am more than happy to sign myself onto the lease and pay myself into the bond. Cheers, Lois!
I'm looking for a place with laidback, fun, social girls around my age, either in an existing sharehouse or for a team up :) Would love a place where I can become friends with my housemates and occasionally socialise and go out for drinks or just chill and do a netflix binge! I work 4-5 days during the week in the city, and on the weekends I like to go out for lunch, catch up with friends, go on mini adventures around Melbourne, and keep active at the gym. I'm pretty easy-going, like to keep positive and active (really into health, wellness, fitness, although tend to compensate that on the weekends coz balance), and am always up for an adventure! One day I could be talking about boys and reality tv shows, then next minute I could be talking about the existence of the Universe so there's that. So, I'm basically looking for a clean, nicely furnished place that's walking distance to trains or trams that I can feel comfortable in with awesome people! Move in date first week of August would be ideal, however I'm quite flexible for the right place :)
Hiya I'm Christopher; I'm a cook and I just moved to Melbourne from Canada on a working holiday visa. I spend most of my free time reading, watching Netflix, and going to the gym. I like trying out local restaurants, and I'm always down for a board game. The perks of living with me are probably that I'm quiet, I cook and I clean, and I spontaneously bake pies every so often.
I've just moved to Melbourne, from Sydney for a new job working as a content manager for a global marketing platform. I'm a social 23 year old male, mature for my age and can hold a conversation with just about anyone. With a background working in radio, I love a chat, have a sense of humor and enjoy my music of many genres. I play american football and will be out of the house some weeknights for training and for games on weekend. I enjoy a drink while socializing with others on weekends and I'm after a room in a house of good down to earth fun people. I'm working in Albert Park so a place with good transport or a clear bike path are handy. I've also got a 1974 Holden Kingswood I drive so off the street parking is a bonus but not a deal breaker. Non smoker, healthy and active, very handy with fixing bits around a house and understand the etiquette of living with others. I'm ready to move in right away and available on weekends or after work to come say gday. Hope I can be the housemate you're looking for!
Hey I'm Grace. I'm a 24 yo nurse and owner of a beautiful rescue greyhound Connie. As much as i enjoy getting to know my house mates i am also respectful of there lifestyle and privacy. I'm by no means a clean freak, but i am tidy and like to keep common areas tidy. I enjoy getting out of the house and catching up with friends on my days off. I am a shift worker so am often working odd hours and weekends. I am by no means opposed to sharing a meal, a drink or a chat with my housemates or even just binge watch tv together.
Crystal Canadian hairdresser 25. Currently living in Melbourne looking for a long term stay. Work flex hours and am quite busy during the week. Most often out on a Saturday night and enjoy a lazy Netflix Sunday.
I am an international student from Singapore. I will be studying Film and Television Production starting in September. I am friendly, chill, easy going, neat and open to other cultures.
I am searching for a furnished room in inner Melbourne from 6 August until 30 September for a short-term visit. Good PTV connections are a bonus. Compulsory bio: I work in web development and translation and am coming to Melbourne for a few weeks. I play ice hockey and music. Most of my spare time is spent playing music out and about (not at home). I am into meal prepping a bit, and I bake quite decent peanut butter chocolate cookies and banana bread. I'm always trying to improve my cooking skills and try out new things. Aside from music and sport, I enjoy hangs with mates, and am looking forward to exploring Melbourne. I'm pretty impressed by the tropical birds around Australia (rosellas, lorikeets, cockatoos... I've spent the last decade split between Berlin, Finland, and California, where the birds are just not as colourful). I'm easy-going, tidy, and quiet. Banter and chills are good. I am usually up for a good chat or meal with housemates, but enjoy doing my own thing, too. I'm interested in tech, medicine, foreign languages, current events, and spend a fair bit of my down time in front of a computer. I do eat meat although I am trying a stint of vegetarianism currently out of interest; I do not drink or smoke. The only 'ice' in my life is ice hockey. However, I am of course open to you eating, smoking, and doing your thang. (Please don't be doing ice, though). I don't have pets or kids. I always pay rent on time, and can sort out a bond and references no problem. As I said, quick visit to Melbourne, looking for a nice place to stay. I don't wreck things :) If you've got a furnished room available soon and think we'd get on, shoot me a message, I'm looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks!
