I'm a student who works part-time and i'm looking for a place to call home for the next 12 months. I'm clean, healthy, rarely drink, can be social but also like to keep to myself.
A recent graduate who works part-time as a salad artist until she finds a full-time job. A senior but not expensive housemate, featuring: • 5+ years experience in house-sharing • Always clean, respectful and responsible (My housemates hardly find the evidence of me cooking) • Above-average friendliness • Hosted 1 garage sale, 3 birthday surprises and 2 welcome parties for the housemates • Owns a 50" television, a wireless printer, a bike, 2 frisbees and a ukulele • Fluent in English and Mandarin (I'm from Taiwan) • Loves to talk about politics • Not a party animal but enjoys dancing in an appropriate environment • Overall, a very likeable young woman Looking for a sociable and mature (everyone cleans after themselves and refills the toilet paper) house/flat, preferably with lots of natural light as I enjoy reading during the day when I'm not working. I also like to stay in the living room and greet the housemates so I hope my future housemates are comfortable with that. My ideal length of stay is 12 months before I finally move back to fight for my country. Feel free to ask me anything as I really take my 100% response rate seriously.
Hey! My name is Daniel, and I'm a 34 y.o. Researcher in Biostatistics at Monash University (Alfred Centre). I've been living in Switzerland for the last 14 years, yet I come from Bolivia. Hence, you can say that I have a good background in customs from both hemispheres! Up until now, I've found Melbourne to be a lovely city, and I'd like to discover more about it. I'm looking to share a flat with relaxed young professionals like me. I like good conversations, thoughtful Movies, TV shows and books and also (southern customs talking here) going out (dancing!) from time to time.
Hello! I'm Adam. I spend most my full days at a busy bayside bar and restaurant, and at other times I like to read and research, to write, or plan the next adventure. I earned my bachelor level a few years ago and worked in highly technical fields for a while, then decided I need to change and see the world. Open-minded and free-spirited, I'm a seeker and free-thinker. Calm and soft-spoken, I value my downtime and have respect for one another's space and ideas. I keep busy with pastimes that include: travelling, camping, training, cooking, and meaningful conversations exchanging experience. I am housework-trained, very tidy and clean, reliable with my accounts, and choose to live with persons who alike take responsibility yet savour life. Write to me, I would like to meet the people with whom I will make a home! I'm also open to the idea of organising a property Team-up together for long-term lease (12 months) should you be searching in the inner-east bay area of 3205; 3206; 3207; 3182; 3184. 1. Animal friendly, non-smoker. Straight but LGBT+ respectful. Lived together with flatmates for many years in Melbourne. References can be provided. 2. Minimum stay of six months but prefer longer term. Approximate date of move-in is centred around the Easter weekend of April, or from then onwards. Dates are flexible. 3. Third generation Aussie, with mixed backgrounds from Japan and Hong Kong. Next major journey is within the South American continent, previous was in the Nordics.
Hey -- I'm Jeremy. I work full-time in cyber security, working pretty standard hours. I'm a social dude, super considerate, adventurous and always up for chilling. Looking to move out into a place that has a cool vibe with chill mates that's also fun and active -- not looking for a stagnant place. Hit me up for a conversation. I also come with 25% of Telstra internet and a really cool salt and pepper shaker.
Hi there, my name is Sharni. I am a 34 year old single Melbourne-born girl looking for a private room for a stay of at least six months (or longer), as the house where I am currently living is due to go to auction on May 25. Ideally I would like to live with between one and three other housemates. I am working full-time in Docklands in the financial services industry (admin/customer service), working Mon-Fri daytime hours on a rotating roster. I love going out to the cinema and theatre shows, and like going on weekends away. I adore sharing stories about travel, too. I am a talkative person who likes being sociable but I also like quiet time as well, so I'm not looking for a party household. I think your home should be your haven that you care for and look forward to relaxing in when you come home. I would like to live with open-minded people who don't have a problem with occasional visitors in the privacy of one's room. To me, cleanliness, communication, honesty, responsibility and respect being maintained amongst all housemates is the key to a good household. I am looking for a place that is within walking distance to a train station or a tram to the city (no more than a 20 minute walk away max). I will consider any inner-city suburb (within 15 km of Melb CBD) I don't have a set moving date, but approx early-May to mid-June is when I would be wanting to move in (flexible depending on when the room is available) Non-smoker. I don't have any pets myself but I love animals.
Hi I'm Darcy! Super chilled person looking for a relaxed and social house hold. Wanting to meet new and interesting people with positive vibes. I work full time Monday to Friday in Transport & Logistics but am planning to study at uni in the near future. I am a responsible, clean and respectful individual who always pays their bills/rent on time. I'm usually out and about on the weekend but also love some me time relaxing at home. Always down to have a glass of wine and have a good chat at the end of the day while watching some shows on Netflix. I have a 7 year old dog with me as well. His name is Talon and he is a very sweet boi. He is very well behaved, trained and friendly. He mostly lies around all day sleeping. Very much a people dog and loves cuddles!
I am 36 years old Indian ethnic male, working full time in Abbostford and studying part time at RMIT.I have been sharing places in Melbourne since 2007. I current have all the bedroom furniture and currently residing in Docklands. My current housemate is very lovely and I will only move out if I find something 220 per week SO I can save some money.
Looking for a quiet, peaceful place, preferably close to City (where I work 3-4 days p/w) as I settle back into Melbourne life after living interstate. Length of stay is flexible but prefer a few months at least. Prefer on my own but sharing fine if compatible and there's enough living space. I practice meditation, a bit of yoga, like to read, see films and live a reasonably healthy life - definitely not into partying and late nights. Having access to outdoor space, parks or beach nearby would be great as I like to be in nature and get out and about. Thanks for reading my profile.
I am tidy and respectful of others and their belongings. Love to have a good laugh, get to know each other or keep to myself. Pretty cruisy, don't mind a dinner party and am happy to stay out of the way if others are entertaining I don't love vaccuming but do find doing the dishes very therapeutic so if an arrangement could be struck there I'm all ears. Other than that, work hard, keep living areas tidy and make everyone feel welcome and at home :)
Hi! My name is Tara, I've lived in Melbourne for nearly 5 years and I'm from Wollongong. I work full time as a myotherapist in the city and for an AFL team and in my spare time I play a bit of soccer and do gym/pilates myself. I'm fairly extroverted but totally fine to do my own thing. I love cooking and am pretty organised about food since I'm quite busy through my week. I am very positive and motivated and for some down time I like to get out for food, a cheeky wine or other activities. I am just coming out of a long term relationship, and I feel a little excited for some independence and a new home galpal. Please message if you have any questions ! BTW I have a car I need a spot for (not too fussy where), I am clean and I'm in my lease supposed to be until July but flexible with move dates.
We’ve just moved from Amsterdam to Melbourne, trying to settle down for at least a year. Now looking for a house, jobs, more friends etc. We enjoy sports, music, drinks with friends, being outdoors and playing games (we brought quite a lot from the Netherlands). We’re looking for a nice flat with preferably a big kitchen (we like to cook!) and a large living space, where we can enjoy good food, wine and games.
Hello! I moved to Melbourne last year (from London) to play rugby, and learn more about the wine industry. I’ve just finished working Vintage at a winery in the Yarra valley, and now would like to move back to the city. I’m a pretty chilled guy that loves exercise and good eating! I love to be social and go out for drinks, but also very content on the sofa for a film night. I have rugby training every Tuesday and Thursday nights, and playing matches on Saturdays. Speak soon 😊
I'm a 27 year old, full time worker in marketing. Keep it pretty low key at home during the week and generally out and about on weekends. Looking for a home in a longer term lease

My name is Yosuke, 25 yo originally from Japan. I have arrived in Melbourne a few days ago and plan to stay for a year. I worked in Film and TV production and hoping to do the same here. Especially passionate about everything to do with sound/sound design in film. Other than that, I love watching movies, skateboarding, kite boarding and anything outdoorsy!
Hey :) So my name is Niall Cahill, I'm from Dublin Ireland and ill be arriving in Melbourne on the 4th of May. The perfect place for me would be a studio flat. I've lived in about 7 share houses over the last 4 years and I want to live alone now as im sick of messy people. I'm super chilled, 420 friendly, open minded and well travelled. I've been a professional photographer for 7 years, doing portraits, concerts and events. While travelling I work in Civil construction as a skilled labourer. As it stands I'm going to stay in an Airbnb until I have 2-3 weeks of pay behind me before I can afford the bond and rent. I can supply 2 landlord references from Brisbane. If any sound landlords want to let me move in without the bond for a month that would be swell. I also want the Bond through RTA. Feel free to ask me any questions :)
