I'm looking to create or join a pretty chilled creative comfortable home. I work full time at an acting school mostly in producing events. I come home to chill and relax so not looking for a party house...that said I don't mind a good party. I'm a clean, considerate and respectful housemate. It's important for me that everyone feels like it's their place, communication is key. I keep busy and respect people need to do their own thing but very happy to share a meal too. For more info enquire within..
I am a full-time student (studying occupational therapy), part-time gym receptionist who is looking for a place to live for the next 12 months. I am a keen wine drinker, dog patter and google searching enthusiast who is very social but also respectful of other's need for space, quiet and sleep. I love to cook, be outside (especially in the sun), watch documentaries and make terrible drawings. I am a clean person who is frequently described by others as 'very chilled out' and am pretty easy going. I am often out for most of the day, especially on the weekends but would also love a place where I could sit and watch TV/chill out with my housemates when I am home. Looking forward to meeting you!
Hi!! Iv been living in Melbourne for 3.5 years hailing from QLD. I work at an art gallery in the city and as a freelance illustrator/ designer. I come with a super sweet cat, Mable. She sleeps all day, keeps to herself and keeps me company while I draw. Not aggressive in the slightest. Very lady like :) I enjoy my own time though I am definitely down for a chat when others are up for it. I like to keep a tidy home, very respectful of others and am happy to help out wherever I can. I love food, nature and movies :) Look forward to hearing from you!! Loretta
Alana and I are a very down to earth couple. We are both 25 years old, from Scotland and have just spent the last year in New Zealand. We like to socialize and meeting new people. Thus said we know the importance of privacy. We would be a clean, reliable pair of tennants and would treat the place as our own. Cheers.
We are both tidy, considerate and respectful of others. We are working and while we enjoy going out we typically do not stay out too late. Both of us are from Texas, USA and are here on a Working Holiday Visa.
I am originally from the UK and have bee travelling Australia since January. I have now found full time work in Melbourne and I am looking to settle down and stay with some cool house mates. I am a very sociable person who enjoys eating out and drinking craft beers on the weekend. I would ideally like to be able to interact and socialise with my new house mates while also bein able to do my own thing. I'm well house trained and class myself as a respectfully, clean and tidy person so you don't have to worry about me leaving a mess in the kitchen. I hope to hear from some of you soon :)
I am a clean person especially in shared areas, I love to cook and I like to share what I cook (for a gold coin donation). I paint and am quite a recluse. I like to watch horrible tv shows and listen to indie music and chill. I like some wine and a movie. I am not a party animal, or a smoker. I keep to myself but I do like to have a chat and a giggle with my house mates when I'm home. However university and work keep me quite busy so I only really have one day off a week. I would potentially like to get a cat. As a side note though i am looking for a large room. Preferably around 4x4ish. Thanks for reading.
Hi potential future house mate! I have just finished studying Public Relations full time at RMIT uni, I am now working as a full time Barista and waitress, in the interim of going into the industry. I am very happy and friendly. I love hanging out with my friends and family, occasionally go out but not often as work keeps me busy and I like to relax at home. I also love getting addicted to good TV series, eating good food and enjoying life. Looking for a new place to call home with friendly people, that like their own space but are also happy to hang out. Value a warm home environment as there is no place like home. If you're not laughing with me at my terrible jokes then you'll certainly be laughing at me! Look forward to hearing from you 😊
Greetings! I'm Sara and have returned from travelling Europe and some of Australia this year. I come back to a job as a social worker and am looking for a share house ideally with one other person. I have some furniture for sharing but also my own furniture for my room, so looking for at least an unfurnished bedroom. My budget is $220 per week, and I can pay bond and rent in advance. I am quite tidy, enjoy socialising but having alone time, adore cooking and going to food markets, go to yoga most days and up for trying new experiences. Looking for a place where I can chill out without any stress (my job can offer enough of it!) and looking for someone who is fair, friendly and reliable. Looking forward to connecting with people too!
Hey! I'm Henry, and I'm studying at the Victorian College of the Arts (Melb Uni) in the field of Production. IE: Im the techie in black that works behind the scenes in sound, lighting and vision for live music, theatre etc etc. I also work in this field of production commercially and have started my own small business. Google me and ill come up . So I guess call me a bit of a tech :). My course can be relatively intensive at times, and there can be periods where I'm out and about for most of the day, every day. But when I am at home, I love to play keyboard and am quite musical (though I am quiet about it and use headphones). My list of TV shows that I enjoy seems to grow and grow but include all the 'top' shows like Game of Thrones, Survivor, The Amazing Race and most things on Netflix. I like to think of myself as being quite mature and independent. While I really enjoy socializing, I can be a pretty quiet person that keeps to myself. I can be quite happy to just sit in my room and chill out. I also have a partner living in Melbourne that I like to spend time with.
I'm a 30 year old English girl who has a professional job in the city. I'm experienced in house sharing so am respectful of others and clean up after myself. My partying days are over so I'm looking for low key house mates who don't mind sharing a glass of wine/dinner with me occasionally. I'm really easy going and won't be home much on weekdays (overtime/gym, etc).
Hi. I'm a registered nurse, recently relocated from NSW for career opportunities. I am a sociable, friendly and a clean room mate. I also like exploring this amazing city with friends and family. Let me know if you want to know anything else & looking forward to meeting you :)
I'm great to live with because I'm tidy, easy-going, fun and friendly. I'm a very sociable person but I am also mindful that everyone needs their own personal space. I have a 9-5 job and in between that I like to socialize with friends and family, eat healthy, exercise and also have some "me" time. I also really enjoy listening to music and travelling. I don't watch a huge amount of TV but I'm partial to a night in with a takeaway and a movie. I'd rather a chat and a glass of wine any night!! I am a specialist digital recruiter for people that work within sales and marketing, particularly within the media industry. I'm originally from the UK (London) and have been in Melbourne for 3 years, so this is very much home for me now.

A few things about me to spike your interest, as I assume you probably get a million messages! I work full time for a land surveyor as well as studying part time as a building designer. I'm hard working and highly reliable.. Brought up the good Ol' fashion way, so I know how to clean up after myself and cook a mean meal well too - if you're keen to share a meal or two together.. I get to the gym or yoga most days and love anything active or in the sun. Love a good weekend out and about or a relaxing night in on the couch with a glass of Pinot.. I'm a very down to earth, easy going person, but definitely enjoy my own space. I am looking for someone who is also respectable and a pleasure to live with. I'm 22, but definitely an old soul.. probably get along better with people quite a bit older than me so more looking for house mates in the 24+ vercinity.. but not too fussed..
I'm 27, just moved back to Melbourne after 2 years in London (originally from NZ). Looking for a sweet new flat, with some cool, fun, down to earth peeps who can share some dins and drinks with from time to time. Either in an existing flateshsre or open to buddying up and getting a place with someone. I work full time in the city so pretty chilled during the week but like to get out and about in the weekend :)
I am a down to earth, friendly, reliable and clean guy (non-smoker) who has a full-time job in engineering, and enjoys doing various sports and activities at his spare time, crossfit, soccer, cycling. I'm looking for a room (preferably furnished) in St Kilda, South Yarra or surrounding areas..
Working holiday visa holder from LA. Work in hospitality and advertising. I'm a quiet, super tidy, and respectable roomie, though I do like to socialize over a beer or community meal now and again. Looking for the same in flatmates. As for my interests, I enjoy travel, hiking, photography, sports, film, music, craft beer, wine, food, dessert, exercise, and discovering the best in every city I step foot in. I also enjoy people reading my messages and ignoring them, with the occasional sarcasm. Will Ferrell is my spirit animal.
Hi, my name's Hilda. Newbie to Melbourne as of a year ago.. I work in communications for Alfred Health but am a growing yogi. I've started studies just recently so I spend some time at my yoga studio as well as studying at home. Weekends, I'm pretty social - I love coffee & cake dates the most (not a wine type of gal but it's ok once in a while :)). Love travel, art, foreign films, philosophy, friends.. cooking! Even though they are super cute, I can't live with pets as I am allergic... I'm searching for a room in a welcoming house, preferably with one female roommate.. Thanks, looking forward to connecting :)!

Hello! I'm Dani, a 23 year old Australian female who is looking for a share house to call home for 6 months–1 year. I have good rental history :) I am just about to finish my Masters of Communication Design, I freelance and I work part time at coles, which means I will be looking for new full time work over the holidays and into the next year. I am looking for friendly people who love to learn, laugh and explore. I like listening to podcasts, enjoying film, art, music, going out for a dance, and general banter. Hey :) 25 YO; GERMAN; TIDY; FUNNY; EXCHANGE STUDENT; DEAKIN UNIVERSITY My name is Yannik and I am a 25-year-old exchange student at Deakin University. After finishing school in 2011 I moved to Münster in a flatshare with two other people and started to study business. But to be honest I don’t see myself as a typical “finance business suited management person” and maybe this is why a friend I get to know in Sydney asked me, if I would really study business? :D During my Bachelor degree I did a semester abroad in San Diego, USA. I spent most of the time with my four roommates. This time was one of my best in my life and this is why I decided to do another semester abroad later on during my Master studies. After finishing my Bachelor studies I did a gap year, moved to Munich and did an internship at the Walt Disney Company for 6 months. After that I travelled through Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia and Indonesia for 3 months. Then I started my Master studies with the major in Marketing in October 2015 that I will continue after this semester abroad in April 2017. Besides I would describe myself as an open-minded person. Traveling really helps to think outside the box! and I think I am an over-average tidy person. I don’t really like chaos. I am really interested in sports in general, but especially in football. I am a fan of Borussia Dortmund, so maybe you have heard about the “Yellow Wall” ;). I also have played football at the football club in my hometown, but I also like playing volleyball, basketball and tennis and I try to go skiing once a year in the Alpes. The last 6 months I did CrossFit. Furthermore I am into tv series and movies (e.g. Breaking Bad, House of Cards, Walking Dead…). I watch a lot of Tv series with my flatmates. Last time we finished GoT the second time ;) I also like having a few beers with friends and mostly we go clubbing once a week. Last but not least I am not someone who locks himself in his room. My room door is always open and I don’t know why but in every flat I have lived in, my room evolved into a second living room :D I want to stay in Melbourne for four months (end of February). I would love to hear from you :) Cheers! Or Prost (German)! Yannik
Hey, I've just moved to Melbourne and Andrew is coming to join at the start of December once he finishes his travels around Asia and New Zealand! We're both very easy going people, love to travel, cook and chill out. I'm free to move into a house whenever and he'll come join when he arrives! Get in touch!
*Looking for 2 separate rooms* Hi guys! My sister and I are looking for a place to move into at the start of November (can move sooner). Budget is up to 220/week each. Ideally the rooms will be furnished. Looking at east/inner east/bayside basically anywhere from Richmond through to Caulfield. Close to the Frankston train line would be ideal (Richmond, Armadale, Caulfield North, Prahran, South Yarra, Malvern, etc) We're easy-going, very clean, social and both enjoy a bit of adventure! Would love to move into a young professional and social household, respectful of others space but keen to hang out here and there. I'm 24, work full time in Sales and am starting a digital agency on the side so will be working long hours 5-6 days a week. I'm into the gym, eating healthy, reading and love to chat some shit over a few drinks on the weekends. My sister is 20, works as a hotel reception supervisor, she's super friendly and social and likes to cook. Also enjoys a wine and a laugh. A cheeky bonus to living with us is that we have a holiday home in Phillip Island we love to stay at, which is obviously awesome during Summer and you'll be more than welcome to join! Look forward to hearing from you!
Hi, I'm Elya! I've been in Melbourne for almost 3 years, originally from Malaysia. I'm currently an Arts student and will be graduating soon. Looking for a place to stay over the summer (but hopefully longer!) while I figure out what's next. Dates are sort of flexible. For potential roommates: I'm clean and tidy, still learning how to cook, not much into parties, here to listen to you vent over a glass of wine after a long day, and always up to binge watch tv shows. That being said, I will definitely respect your privacy and if you want to keep to yourself, that's cool too. If you're interested / want to know anything else, feel free to contact me! Bonus points if you have a cat.
Hi there! My name is Karolina. I am a 32 year old professional 9-5 worker who is looking for a new place to call my home. I am a neat and tidy person, who respects the place I live in. I like to do my own groceries, and as I am a vegetarian (I do eat fish) I like to cook my own food, but am more then happy to share. I do have a 2.5 year old foxy called Sparrow , who is a little shy at first, but is full of beans once he gets to know you. He is very house trained and super affectionate. He also loves the company of other dogs, so if you have a pooch yourself, that would be great! If the house has a garden, Sparrow loves to explore, and I have a bit of a green thumb where I grow herbs and some veggies - which I use in my cooking. I am looking for people who like to have a chat over a glass of wine, but also don't mind if we do our own thing and respect each others space.
I'm an engineer relocating from Newcastle for work. I like the outdoors and I'm generally quite active during the week with a variety of sports usually followed by a nice meal or craft beer :) At home I like to occasionally cook something new, play a bit of guitar or just have a chat. I like to think that I'm trustworthy, easy going and tend to equal other people's efforts. Looking to share with similar people who are active and sociable, but also respect each other's space and privacy.
Hello there. My names Roberto I'm a 25 year old Barber from England and I've just recently moved to Melbourne and I'm working full time in Prahran. I'd say I'm a pretty easy going person. I'm always keen to meet new people and go out every now and then, but also like my own company from time to time aswell. Like most people I guess. I'm a tidy person and like to keep up things in order but not one of these OCD neat freaks, I don't think I could live with someone like that. Preferably looking for young like minded, easy going flat mates. Feel free to drop me a message if you'd like to know more Cheers
From near Liverpool, UK. Originally came here as a backpacker, but recently sponsored to work full time as a Front End Developer (fancy job title for someone who builds websites). Currently living in Werribee and working in Mulgrave - so hoping to cut that commute down by more than half. I work hard, but don't mind enjoying myself at the weekend with a few beers. I have a terrible coffee habit, which is convenient for me to live in Melbourne. Love snowboarding. Scuba diving. Playing guitar badly (don't worry, the guitar is back in England). Listening to music (Foo Fighters, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, John Butler Trio, Doves, Jack White, The Beatles). Watching TV (Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, Parks and Recreation, Rick and Morty) and Films (Into the Wild, America Beauty, Batman, Inception, Interstellar etc). Hoping to get straight back into a gym routine once I've settled, so looking forward to that. I'm clean and tidy, so you won't have to worry about living in mess. Love exploring new places, eating at new restaurants and working my way around the many cafes of Melbourne. I'm sociable and outgoing, but also enjoy my own space every now and again. Hoping to find a flat share with like-minded people.
I'm a Single Guy Moving down to the city from the country. Im needing a place to stay for around 4 months or possibly more. Need to find some accomodation soon, somewhere in the SE suburbs Somewhere close to St Kilda-ish. I'm a very tidy and sociable person, love a chat and a chicken parmy, I go to the gym and love fishing and a drink. Just looking for a few young decent guys or girls to board with who have full times jobs as I do, but respectful of shift work hours that I work . Need to get it sorted soon, message me as soon as you can with any questions and to set up a call or coffee inspection.
Hey, My name is Kirsty and I have just moved to Melbourne from Scotland with my boyfriend! :) We are currently looking to share or rent a small space for the next couple of months until we get on our feet! We are really laid back and very sociable! :)
Hi, I come from France and I work full time in an architecture visualisation studio on Chapel street. I'm very respectful and easy going. I love to go outside discovering Melbourne :)
I'm moving back to Melbourne after 2 years in Mildura. I've got previous experience housesharing both here and in Adelaide and am looking forward to getting back into a share house after renting on my own in Mildura. I'm from the UK originally, moving to Australia at 21. I have a solid, full-time government job and in my spare time I enjoy going out, doing interesting stuff and travelling. I'd be great to live with as I'm a relatively low-maintenance housemate, I enjoy a laugh and having a good convo, but I have enough of my own interests that I won't be a pain. Bills and rent will be paid on time, cleaning will be done and a good time will be had by all!
Hey guys, I'm Sam, 22, I moved to Australia from England when I was little, I'm English by blood and Australian by heart. I'm a hard worker with my eyes set on the future, I've previously studied at university in Melbourne and currently I'm working part time, with around 4-5 shifts a week which keeps me busy. When I'm not working I love playing my guitar, exploring places I've never been and keeping my mind and my body healthy. I'm a caring person with a big heart who loves putting a smile on people's faces, I'm respectful of others feelings and needs and keep myself and surroundings tidy.
Hey all, I'm looking for a room for me +1 quiet and friendly, mature, housetrained cat named Charlie. I work 5 days/week in hospitality, until I go back to uni full time (+ work part time) for a year to finish my degree. On my days off I generally like to get outdoors if the weather is good and am looking forward to getting some beach days in this summer, (if/when it actually arrives in Melbs). Like to enjoy food and drink and chats with my housemates, but equally enjoy my down time and respect others' need for the same. I'm clean and tidy, especially when it comes to communal spaces. Eat mostly vegetarian, but not wigged out by food of any kind. I’m good for paying rent/bills on time, am not touchy about discussing stuff house-related, very into openness and communication. Am well-trained in house-sharing, and don’t possess any sexist, racist, LGBTI-phobic views/sentiments. Can pay a pet bond, 420-friendly. Come with a bunch of plants and make kombucha regularly. Also looking for new house share start-ups! Feel free to fire any questions my way :)
Hello! I'm usually a happy bubbly person and i think I'm easy to get along with. I'm always up for a chat and a Savvy B :) I'm considerate of other housemates regarding noise and sleeping. I'm clean in the areas that count. Not much of a cook but give it a go! I am pretty good at baking though :) Looking for a social house. I enjoy reading, drawing, sewing, sleeping, socialising with friends and family, i go away every couple of weeks to see family in the country, and i am trying to get back into fitness, so i gym buddy would be awesome! Off street parking would be a bonus but not essential! Also, i am looking for an unfurnished room as i have my own bedroom furniture.
Hi! I'm Anja, I'm 23 and I'm from Germany. I'll be staying in Melbourne for 6 months, working full-time as a marketing assistant for BSH Home appliances. I love working out (gym + yoga + just started surfing) and I definitely am a foodie. Can't wait to explore all the restaurants and bars in Melbourne. I'm easy going, clean, tidy and looking to live with people who enjoy socialising at the weekends and people I can be friendly with, not just somewhere to sleep!
I'm a 28 year old Scottish lass currently travelling around Australia and New Zealand. I'm planning on settling in Melbourne towards the end of November so I'm looking for a flatshare/team-up from around then :) Here's a bit of info about me: - I'm reliable, considerate and respectful. - I'm a very clean, tidy and organised person. - I'm a non-smoker. - I enjoy socialising and going out for dinner and drinks (bit of a foodie!). - I equally enjoy nights in with movies, munchies and wine :) - I'm not really one for going out clubbing every weekend so I'm not looking for a party house. - As well as being social I'm quite independent and like to have my own space from time to time to relax and unwind, so I would respect others' need for this as well. - I'd prefer to share an apartment with just one other flatmate. - My preference is an older style apartment with character (but modern etc inside) rather than a brand new apartment in a purpose built block, although I'm not too precious about this! - I love keeping fit - I enjoy running, HIIT, touch rugby and hockey. - I'm an actuary and currently in the process of finalising an investment related job in the CBD. - I make a mean lasagne and awesome melt in the middle chocolate puddings!
Hello, I am a 25 yr old working professional who lives and breathes all things hospitality. I am out going, interactive but also love my own time and space. Alright team.... it is with great sadness I seek a new abode as my current housemate has bought an apartment (damn her) and I am not invited. I'm a 26 yr old working professional, been in Melbourne only a few short months, loving the Windsor/Prahran area and would prefer to stay. I'm well experienced with flatting. Love to stay active (soccer, basketball, gym, mountain biking, snowsport), travel when possible, and eat well (can cook!). Work hard through the week and enjoy the weekend - relax, adventure, a few drinks etc., I'm very social. No problems with animals at all and happy to meet and check out new places/people. Not interested in mass flat share or backpacker places. Looking for new friends, similar age similar interests, for the long(ish) term. Feel free to contact me if you think it might work and I'll come say hello. Need a place approx. end November, though flexible.
Hey there, my name is Jahla. I'm in the hope of finding a stable and affordable home to share with someone who is reliable, I am NOT looking for a share room. I'd probably describe myself as pretty chilled, respectful, easy going, positive, fun and social person. I am super clean, so i try to keep the mess to a minimum. I have my own car and license which provides independence.. I'd preferably would like to share with another female, but at the end of the day as long as we can live together comfortably and happily that's all that matters. Regardless of my age I am very independent and mature and able to cater to my own needs. I work full time in Docklands so ill be out from Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. If you'd like to know more about me, or ask any questions feel free to message me. Look forward to meeting my future flat mate :)
Hey I'm Kat! I'm 23 years old and I work in advertising. I love being outdoors, walking, pilates, travelling and meeting new people. I like to go out with friends and have fun, but I also enjoy staying in, watching a movie or reading a book. I've lived in Melbourne my whole life and am looking for a change in scenery, hopefully somewhere closer to work I am looking for housemates who have similar interests to me, are down for a chat and friendship. I am very respectful of other people's things and privacy, tidy and happy to contribute to the house in any way that I can.
Hey, I'm a recently single gay 23 man. I work full time in Arts Administration at State Library Victoria. I like to keep very busy with hobbies and activities, as a result I'm not home too often and do not make much mess or take up space in the house. I'm often doing things like performing in amateur musical theatre, writing music and swimming for fitness, and I like to see live theatre as much as I can. I love to cook and like to be a host. I love small low-key get togethers with a few of my closest friends. I know I'm pretty young but I'm very mature for my age. Most of my friends are in their 30s. I'm fun and outgoing but very polite and respectful. I like to meet new people so send me a message :)
A bit about myself. I'm a 28yo girl from France and have been living in Melbourne for a couple years now. I am studying project management and working in retail. I'm super easy to leave with, like to have my own space but happy to share a meal/drink every now and then!
