Couple looking for a Studio or 1 bed property in Melbourne Employed and good rental history. Ideally furnished but open
Hey! I'm looking for a new place with laidback, like minded girls around my age, or I'm more than happy to move into an existing sharehouse if I find the right one :). It would be cool to find someone/people I can become friends with rather than just 'housemates', who are up for the occasional weekend outing or a trashy TV show session at home, however also respecting each others down time also. I work casual/full-time, and I'm pretty laid-back during the week as I would be at work then at the gym, and on the weekends I like to go out for lunch, meet up with friends, have a drink or five, stay active, and just be lazy on the couch watching movies. Definitely would like the communal areas clean, although a couple dishes in the sink won't bother me. Basically looking for good vibes and a nicely furnished place I can feel comfortable in and call home with cool people! Move in date mid/late June would be ideal, however I'm quite flexible for the right place :)
I’m 21 years old, medical receptionist in Glen Iris 4 days a week full time and an ABA therapist in Murrumbeena 2 days a week. Drive a small car. Go to the gym. Very clean and organised person to live with. Very positive, outgoing and open minded. Happy to do my own thing but also love a drink and a chat on any night of the week. Enjoy cooking. Love going out on the weekends.
I am a 27 year old working professional and I am looking for a place in an existing home or to team up with a like minded individual to make a home. By 'home', I mean a place we can come to relax and unwind after work, a place that is clean and comfortable, with a warm and friendly housemate (or 2) that like to have a chat and share a meal occasionally. Although I love to have a good relationship with my housemate, I also value privacy and would expect the same. In my spare time I am either working out, meeting friends or having fun with my pup. He is a small, house trained dog who has been with me in my past two rentals without an issue. He comes with a great reference letter from previous landlord too. He is completely non shedding, so you get to have all the doggo fun, without getting covered in fur! If you think you have a place for me, or if you'd like to team up, please let me know! Looking forward to hearing from you.
Hey I'm Tracy, I'm originally from Ireland but lucky enough to call Melbourne home and have lived here for over three years. I work for a TV production company so tend to work long hours but love my job. I enjoy travel, photography, keeping fit and weekend adventures! My weeknight evening are generally quiet with work and exercise and meet friends at the weekend. I'm a friendly, positive, easy going person and I'm also tidy and respectful.
Outgoing, sarcastic, clean, considerate and honest pretty much sums me up. I'm fairly social, enjoy making the most of life wining, dining, dancing and exploring Melbourne but also appreciate downtime and having a peaceful space to kick off the trainers, relax and watch a little Netflix. From the States, work in Public Relations. Big time animal lover! Flexible with length of stay just looking for a good fit!
Im an ex high school teacher now studying full time masters in counselling. I work part time too at a child care and tuition centre (pays bills on time!) very laid back and chill. Respectful and cleans up after myself . Socialising is great! But like my private time too. Let me know what you think. Cheers, Bey

Im Jessie, 21 year old Brisbane girl, looking to relocate to Melbourne late June/early July for work. I work full time as a retail manager, and love to exercise/train on a daily basis, so I am hardly ever home during the day :) I'm a super easy going, friendly, bubbly person that loves to socialise, but also appreciates my regular down time. I am neat and organised and hope to find roomates who will take pride in the cleanliness and appearance of our home. I know absolutely no one in Melbourne so would love to share a place with like minded individuals, with potential to develop friendships. Ideally would love to team up and start our own share house!
I’m 29 and I a social worker working full time in child protection. I’m from Adelaide, I have been here for 9 months and wanting to move to an area with a bit more happening. Wanting 1-2 other housemates. I work late often, so am always in bed early week nights. I love health and fitness, go to gym every morning before work. I love being social and being new to Melbourne would love to meet new people. I enjoy heading out but never bring the party home. I’m in to travelling too and am always heading back to Adelaide for short trips. Love sight seeing here in Melbourne too. Currently living west, so I am excited to live in an area with a bit more to do :)
Looking for awesome housie to share with St Kilda area only. Relocating back after 10 years in Sunshine Coast, Queensland I'm a qualified Naturopath working part time on this. I also work part time in the city as marketing assistant to keep me out of trouble ;). I'm into sustainable living, yoga and meditation. I love cooking and nurturing through food. I'm artistic, caring, thoughtful, social, enthusiastic and easy going. I have a wicked sense of humour ;) Even though my full on party days are behind me I like a little boogie now and then and still go out to gigs and pubs from time to time. Love a good laugh, a chat and a shared meal from time to time. Looking forward to sharing a home-Short or long term if it works out well. I have a 7 year old son. He sleeps at his dads most nights for stability and for his own room. We have found this is the happiest arrangement for all. The split was amicable. We get along fine. My son stays with me one night a week. He is fine in my room. So I'm looking st kilda so walking distance to his school for simplicity If that all sounds awesome then I would love to hear from you!! 😊
Hi I'm Oliver and I'm currently looking for a room in Melbourne. I am a fun, social, clean and active working professional. I am looking for like minded individuals who are willing to catch up for drinks or food during the week or weekends (mainly weekends) but also respect each others privacy and space. If you'd like to know more, please don't hesitate to message me.
Hi I’m Andy, a 28 year old originally from Scotland but have lived in Melbourne for the last five years, I am now a resident and consider Melbourne home. I work full time in the construction industry Monday-Friday. Im social but also like to chill and watch a movie, cook dinner or just have a chat. Weekends are normally spent playing soccer, drinking coffee or meeting up with friends. Hope to here from you soon 😁
Hi! I'm a 26 year old female from Singapore who's just moved to Melbourne on a working-holiday. I'll be here to study graphic design and also to work full-time when my course ends. I am pretty social, but I like to retreat to a home that is quiet and chill. I am happy to interact but I don't bring my 3am parties home. Being clean and tidy is important to me, so that also means shared spaces will never be messy or dirty - I try to wash my dishes immediately but sometimes leave it overnight though I'd definitely wash it up in the morning. Living an active lifestyle is imperative for me so I do enjoy running, cycling and yoga, though I also love food and enjoy having a few drinks. I'm here in Melbourne to pursue my creative interests, and I love hearing stories from people, and I plan to find ways to weave them together into an interesting project :)
I'm chilled out, easy going, tidy and work full time. Huge fan of blues and roots music. Like to catch live gigs when they're on. Right now I'm pretty career focused and travel a lot for work. I'm intelligent and like good conversation, reading and planning my next trip.
Hiiiii, I am Bec I’ve just moved to Melbourne from Brisbane so looking for a place with good homely feels. I work full time (corporate sell out) so would prefer a quieter place during the week but enjoy drinks, exploring new places, live music, seeing friends for food and visiting galleries on the weekends. I’d like a social house where Tuesday wines and Sunday coffee can be a thing. I also prefer the older houses with all that character and charm. I am familiar with the usual sharehouse drill of respecting others personal space and belongings. Let me know if you think I’d suit your home - look forward to hearing from you!
Hi! Let’s get the boring stuff out of the way first: I'm moving from Sydney to find a place to call home long-term in Melbourne, the best city in the country. Leaning towards unfurnished but it’s not a dealbreaker, a backyard, good shower pressure, walkable to a train/tram stop and a dryer are happy bonuses but not requirements, decent internet is a must, I’m LGBTQI+ friendly, I LOVE cats, I ride a motorcycle so parking isn’t an issue, and I am not a fan of spiders or bugs. Now onto the important stuff: I’m taking control of my life and moving to a city I love to pursue a new career in scriptwriting. I was a VR and game developer and i’ll be doing that freelance from time to time. I travel a lot, I can cook (and intend to subscribe to HelloFresh again when I move in, which means i’m down to cook for the house a few times a week), I’ll be auditioning like mad to every amateur theatre group within convenient distance, I’ve always got one song or another stuck in my head, I'm learning the synth and I’m volunteering for the Lifeline suicide prevention hotline. I won't have a full time job when I get move in but I do have a modest trust fund, so I'll never miss a rent or bill payment and I’ll be getting a part time job once i’m settled in. I've lived in share houses before so I know the drill, regular cleaning and respect for common areas and not eating other peoples food and all that. I also come with all sorts of handy house stuff like a big TV, microwave and kitchen stuff if we need it, otherwise I’ll sell it. Oh yeah, and a room-scale VR headset you can play with :D And here’s the biggest thing: This is probably gonna sound odd, but I've come to Melbourne to look for a home with an atmosphere that fosters creativity. That doesn't necessarily mean that it's full of painters and musicians and the like (although that'd be awesome), it means I'm looking for a certain vibe of collaboration or camaraderie, a home rather than a house. I reckon that's more important than details like whether or not there's a dryer or distance to public transport, who you live with is more important than where you live. If any of that resonates with you and your housemates, I’m available for viewings whenever! Thanks for reading all that Adam
I'm from Perth originally but like everyone there I moved over to Melbourne to try it out. I currently working part time in an office job and study law part time. I'm clean, respectful and always pay my bills on time. I can get a little overwhelmed with study and lock myself in my room but I really am always down for a good goss and a glass of wine. You can tend to find me making cocktails and singing along to Drake and Post Malone while I mention the next pair of sneakers I just HAVE to add to the collection. I'm looking for a place that I'm happy to come home to at the end of the day and be with friends!
Hi everyone, I'm Adam - Born and bred Melbournian, I've mostly lived around the St Kilda area, except when I have been travelling (36 countries) or living overseas. I'm looking for friendly housemates, a drug free home with a room of a decent size, or a team-up with someone not needing a car space. I run a small digital marketing business focusing on photography, video and solutions for local businesses. I've just leased an office in a co-working space in Port Melbourne. St Kilda Sea Baths will be where I spend a chunk of time, to swim, do yoga and pilates. Also enjoy wasting time catching up on my favourite TV shows most evenings, going to meetups or going out to see friends/family. I'm straight, single and dating - I won't be living like a monk, but I am respectful of noise. I won't bring the party home. I have some adequate cooking skills, and great food delivery ordering skills. Enjoy a beer or wine in the evening and having a chat about life, sport, politics, health - you name it. I have a setup which is better than Netflix, pretty much any TV show or Movie you could ever want, in HD is a few clicks away. I need a hassle-free parking situation whether on street untimed/permit or off-street. Happy to share or pay extra for my own bathroom, split-type air-con for hot Melbourne summers and NBN would be nice too. I'm well trained, but if we can afford a cleaner every fortnight, I have a russian lady my family uses who does a good job. If starting a new household (team-up), I can bring two nice couches, coffee table, TV, Speakers and a full suite of kitchen stuff, small dining table and chairs - just need a fridge, microwave and washing machine/dryer. If it's just in unfurnished bedroom, then I will just bring bedroom stuff. I'm looking for large older style 2 bedrooms in Elwood/St Kilda/Middle Park, or nicer more pricey places around South Melbourne/Southbank/St Kilda Rd, you can see the other suburbs that suit me on my profile. Cheers! Rental History: 5 years renting a 1BR at 62/3 Alfred Square, St Kilda 2 years renting with a friend at 10/78 Queens Rd, Melbourne 3004 3 years renting with housemates in Hawthorn when I studied at Swinburne (I was primary on the lease)
My name is Sarah and I'm currently looking for a share house in the inner city area. I am a Account Manager for a publishing company and work pretty standard hours. I've lived in share houses for years so I am house trained and always keep communal areas tidy. I have previously lived in Abbotsford so pretty keen to get back there or to a suburb pretty close. I really love socialising with my friends and heading out to the pub but also love an occasional lazy Saturday night in. I generally keep reasonably quiet during the week and head to the gym or yoga most nights or catch up with friends or family. I enjoy having a drink and socialising with my housemate but also will be out a fair bit and respect peoples personal space. I'm also flexible with move in dates.
Finished my engineering degree from RMIT and going to study MBA in July after a few years while working part time. I’m a respectful person and love to share my meals and a glass of wine when I am home. Looking for a place that I can call home rather than living in a place.
