Vera Maria

Hello, my name is Vera Maria and I come from Germany. I am studying to become a teacher for English, history and politics in secondary schools and I partly work as a paramedic. For my 5th semester I will come to Australia to study abroad at UNSW Sydney. I am therefore searching for a flat which is available from 1st September 2026 to March 2027 and I would prefer living together with other students or people of similar age. I love to travel, I am into singing, I love eating and cooking, I am swimming and I would really like to learn surfing during my stay. That's also why a place close to the beach would be my absolute dream but in the end it is really more about the people I live with than the place! In addition, I love dancing as well as going out to bars or clubs and if you need anyone to accompany you to concerts or festivals, I am totally your girl. On top of that, I love getting to know new food, exploring museums and learning more about foreign cultures. I am spontaneous and I always say yes to an adventure! In the past I've been to many European countries and after graduating I spent one year in Kenya. While being there, I lived with a host family, worked in a school and met a lot of nice people! Last summer I was backpacking through Brasil. Since I am now going to Australia alone I would be so happy to share a place with someone, spend a lot of time with my flatmates and become friends. I am quite tidy and I like to clean but I am totally okay with messy households. :) I would really like to find an apartment before flying to Down Under!
