Hi!
I'm Chris, nice to meet you 😊 I'm currently living on Montague Road in West End in a two-bedroom apartment with a friend and am looking to move in late July/August. My current housemate is moving back to Costa Rica and spending some time in the US for his sabbatical.
I'm 29 and recently finished my PhD at UQ. I now work as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow, combining plants, AI and 3D modelling for crop science research. I love my work, and living close to UQ is important as I occasionally need to be on campus very early.
I've lived in Brisbane for almost 8 years and in West End for the past 4. Outside work, I enjoy films, music, cooking, concerts, festivals and catching up with friends around the city. I'm usually out during the day and some evenings, and when I'm home I'm pretty relaxed, enjoy a quiet space, and occasionally up for a chat over a cuppa :)
I'm very considerate in shared living situations, keep common areas clean and tidy, and am happy to be part of any cleaning roster. I'm reliable with rent, can provide references, and would be happy to grab a coffee and chat if you'd like to know more.
