Hi there! I'm Stanley, a 42-year-old mature student and researcher.
I will be moving to Sydney in December to begin my PhD at UTS in January. Since I’ll be spending most of my weekdays deeply focused on my research and university work, I am looking for a living environment that is clean, quiet, well-organized, and full of mutual respect.
While I highly value privacy and the peacefulness of a studio-like environment to recharge and study, I am also very friendly and would love to build a good connection with my housemates. In my free time, I’d be more than happy to cook a meal together (I enjoy exploring culinary practices!) or have a movie night. I am particularly a big fan of adventure and road cinema.
A bit more about me:
Hobbies: Outside of my PhD, I enjoy reading, playing the piano, and swimming. I also love driving and recently completed a massive cross-country road trip across Canada!
Pets: I absolutely love pets! If you have any furry friends in the house, that is a huge bonus for me. 🐶🐱
Vibe: I am very detailed, clean up after myself immediately, and respect everyone's personal space and quiet hours.
