Leonardo and Andrés

Hi! We’re Leonardo and Andrés, a couple from Chile who have recently moved to Brisbane.

Leo is an English teacher and Andrés is a veterinarian. Andrés is currently studying English in Brisbane in an 6-month course, and we’re both planning to work while we’re here. We’re really excited about improving our English and communication skills, and growing professionally.

We’re currently staying in an Airbnb for two weeks because we wanted to arrive first, get to know Brisbane properly, and find a home that feels right for us — but also because we think meeting people in person is important when looking for a place to live.

We’re very clean, tidy and respectful people, and we genuinely care about keeping our home nice. We’re easy-going and pretty chilled at home. We enjoy cooking, reading, playing video games, watching movies and just having a relaxing night in. We also love going out, exploring the city, trying new places and meeting people.

We’re both independent and responsible, and because we’ll be working while Andrés studies, we’ll have busy schedules and a good routine. At the same time, we’re friendly and social and would love to live somewhere that feels welcoming and comfortable rather than just being a place to sleep.

We’re looking for a comfortable place with good people around us. We’re friendly and always up for a chat and a laugh, while also respecting everyone’s space and routine.
