I am easy going and open minded, have my ideals (LGBTQAI+, vegan whenever possible) but super chill about other opinions (I do not like to discuss these matters much anyways). I am very adaptable to new surroundings and different views. I will start my PhD in Ecology (Biological Sciences at utas) at the beginning of next year and because I will be coming from the other side of the world (Austria/Germany), I would love to meet friendly and open mates that could help me settle down in Hobart but I also enjoy my own time and space, especially after getting used to a place.
I would like my flatmates to be open for a get together in form of a talk over a coffee/drink or hike every once in a while but appreciate the respect of everyone's social battery and private space.
In my free time, I like reading and being outdoors, hiking while exploring local plants or animals.
I am looking for a shared flat in Hobart starting January 2027.
