Hey! I am Lykke and I am currently doing my masters of environmental governance and management at UTAS. I also work part-time as a barista and the rest of the time I hang out with friends, hike, climb and am always up for outdoorsy activities. I prefer to live in a well-functioning social sharehouse where it's not uncommon to eat together. I love a good chat over coffee/beer/wine as well as having movie nights. I also prefer a non-party house. If I sound like someone you might see yourself live with, send me a message and we can meet up.
Hi! I'm a Canadian student coming to Tasmania to do a PhD program at the Institute of Marine & Antarctic Studies. I love to play sports, partake in athletic activities, hike, swim, and also stay in to watch movies. I'm pretty outgoing and I like to think that I get along with most people :) In terms of living situations, I am a clean person and happy to help do chores around the house. I'm looking for like-minded people to share a space with and can't wait to meet new friends.
Hi, may name is Todd. I moved to Hobart a short time ago and the accommodation I had is about to become unavailable. Looking for something from 1 month to long term. I am very very clean. I do work for the government so have current Police checks and working with vulnerable people cards. I am pretty quiet and I travel up north a lot of weekends. I love watching live music and eating out.
Hello, I have recently moved to Hobart to start a new job. I work as a health professional in the city and I am also doing postgraduate study in Medicines Management at UTAS. I am looking for a share-house or to take on a lease (house or unit) in the central Hobart area. I am a friendly, clean and considerate person with good communication skills. I would like to live in a location where I can walk or cycle to work - Sandy Bay, West Hobart, South Hobart, North Hobart and Battery Point are good areas. I am ideally looking for a medium or large bedroom with some sunlight. Furnished or unfurnished is fine. I would prefer long-term and I am willing to pay up to about $260 pw rent for a good sharehouse, and more for the lease on a unit or house. I live a healthy lifestyle. I'm a qualified yoga teacher and I do yoga every morning. I like to recycle and use enviro-friendly cleaning products. I am creative and enjoy playing my flute occasionally. I especially like getting out into nature for a bush walk. I enjoy having good conversations with housemates, and I also also appreciate quiet time and space. I don't mind dogs but I absolutely love cats - if you have a cat that would be a plus! :) I hope to hear from you.
We are both from the Netherlands. We have been together for 10 years and starting our new life in Tasmania. We are quiet, though like a chat but will mostly keep to ourselves. We are looking to share a house with people who value cleanliness and hygiene. We are looking for a double room in a share house anywhere not too far from the centre of Hobart.
Hello! Recently stayed in Hobart for six weeks, after visiting eight countries, and fell in love with Tasmania. Arriving August 10 to go to school. From Oregon, USA and enjoy hiking, art, cooking, and travel. Have a very friendly, laid back and respectful demeanor. I keep a tidy space and like to be social while also appreciating down time. My career has been in state government/politics. Looking for a room/space to rent and pretty flexible. Would love something long-term, 6+ months, but open to even a month stay as I get settled. Please let me know if you have any questions. Very excited to call Tassie home soon!
Hey there! I'm a single, working professional girl who has a love for the outdoors, gardening, clean living, beaches, adventures, and great food. I have a gorgeous little doggo, Max, who comes with me everywhere. He is quite the character, but very well behaved. I'm looking to move to Hobart in the next few months. I currently reside in the north of the state, and have been here for 8 years. I'm looking for a friendly, relaxed, tidy household, with people who respect privacy when needed, but also don't mind hanging out having after-work drinks on a Friday. I'm very easy to get on with and I clean up after myself (and my dog!). We both come with excellent references from previous landlords and roomies.
I'm Manu recently graduated in Construction Management, and relocating to Tasmania for the employment purpose. I'm very much considerate, generous, open-minded, ambitious, outgoing person, and also I've lived in shared house/flats for numerous years in the UK, so I know my role in the house and would co-operate for the well-being of my housemates. Further, I'm very keen on working out at the gym in order to keep myself fit and healthy throughout the year and if you're a fitness enthusiast then we can mutually benefit to achieve our respective goals. In addition, cooking has always been my passion and if you want to fancy my recipes I would be glad to cook. I eat most of the time cooking at home; however, I'm fond of eating at restaurants occasionally or perhaps have a drink during the weekends. Other hobbies are reading, yoga, traveling, MMA, etc. I'm particularly seeking flatmates who possess similar interests.
Hi 😀 I'm a super clean, generally quiet at home yet plenty self-expressed woman, passionate about dance, dessert (I like to bake!), and dogs 😊 (A beautiful black kelpie will let me visit her weekly). I seek a *smoke and drug-free* comfortable, homely and sunny space (not too chic, not too shabby) where I can contribute my energy and share deliciousness in the kitchen, store some stuffs, maybe create art, and to veggie garden for therapy and sustainability :) I am also doing my bit by doing my best to aim for living zero waste. I should add that ideally I desire a quiet and calm space with only 1 other, maybe 2, and without children. I'm not a recluse however - I do enjoy deep intelligent conversation and a safe social environment! 😊 Did I mention I like to cook and feed people? 😉 And I do so regularly at Source Community Wholefoods 😁 I love all animals and if possible, would love to come with my one absolute lovebug of a feline boy rescued from a garbage bin (!) and his spirit brother who due to his first weeks being torturous, is less social. I've also raised a few hens who can supply golden yolks if you don't mind (but will rehome if necessary) 💛 For the love of fresh air, stars and energetic solitude, I prefer a quiet green space (less than 25 mins to town) to tight residential but am certainly open to options 😀 Please, let's talk rather than text 🕉 Smiles, Sufiyo
