Hi! I'm Emily, 24 and am a full time health professional, currently based in Hobart, and am looking for a new place to live! I've only been here a short while and absolutely loving it! Hobart has so much to offer and it's been fantastic getting to explore it! I really enjoy getting to spend time exploring the outdoors, catching up with friends, cooking and baking, and curling up with a good book and a glass of wine! I'm really easy to live with - I'm clean, tidy, and respect other's spaces. Please send me a message if you're interested to know more or if you'd like to meet up! Thank you!
I believe I'm very responsible when it comes to being a part of a household. I adapt easily to new environments and am accepting of all kinds of personalities and lifestyles. In my spare time I'm usually outside doing something adventurous. I'm moving to Hobart from Melbourne so I'm super keen to meet new people.
Creative type who likes cooking, writing, and composing music. Down to earth, easygoing. Reliable, always pays rent on time. Volunteer at art gallery. Likes 70s and 80s Marvel Comics, specifically X-men.
I am currently studying psychology in Launceston and will be relocating to Hobart mid February to continue on with my studies. Love socialising with friends, running/gyming, reading, camping, the beach & exploring. Would prefer a quiet environment for studying, but also a very social person :) ideally located in close proximity to UTAS and Hobart CBD.
We expect to pay a premium for short term rental. Looking for a Furnished room in Central Hobart for just for the first week of Feb 2016. We are a professional retired couple and used to having others stay with us.. Looking to pay up to around $600 for the week. (In fact 6 nights)
I am clean (though not pedantic), friendly, a bit chatty (but not to the point of irritation), academically successful (but I don't like to boast) and I'm flexible with bills and associated costs (but I will never miss a payment). Importantly, I have always respected personal space and won't ever touch your food.
Hey! ☺️ My name is Skhay (Pronunced as ‘Sky’). I’m 18 years old and am looking for a room or place to rent. (Only females). I am starting a Bachelor of Law degree at UTAS, and will be studying full time. ☺️ I am a chill, tidy easy-going person so I’m able to get along well with people and am good at maintaining a clean house. If you have any further questions about me , just flick me a message. ☺️
Hi! I'm new to Hobart to study Natural Environment, which im super excited about. I'm 26, independent, well travelled, creative, on the quieter side, clean, and enjoy beers with friends. Im looking for a sharehouse with good vibes, but also have a balance of introversion to help me feel at home in my new city. I love the outdoors, cycling, creative writing and reading, ocean swims and mountain hikes, cooking, and music. My trade, I guess, is farming and market gardening. So being connected to the land is important to me. Originally from Melbourne, but keen to become a Tasmanian.
Hey! I currently live in Perth but am planning to move to Hobart in February to study at UTas. I'm friendly, very easy-going and love meeting new people, yet I'm also pretty independent and enjoy alone time! I look forward to hearing from you, Leah
Hi, my name is Nancy, 22 years old. I am originally from Indonesia and I have been living in Melbourne for 5 years. I will be studying nursing in University of Tasmania starting in Feb. I'm looking for a place that is close to my uni. I am friendly and easy going.
I am a down to earth, friendly, easy going and sociable person. I appreciate my quiet time and I will respect your privacy. I am tidy, and I have a steady source of income from my PhD funding. I have diverse hobbies which include amateur astronomy (you get to see my telescope!) and going to the gym to be fit and active. I generally keep to myself, but I do not mind the occasional dinner or two.
Hi Friends! My friend Bree and I are looking for a house to move into in January/February (either new lease or join an existing one). We would like to find a third (and possibly fourth) person to help us create a home in central Hobart. We enjoy sharing meals and wine/beer from time to time but we aren’t looking to host huge parties. Our future housemate(s) would ideally value and respect a tidy and clean communal space and want to be part of a sociable house while respecting each other’s need for alone time :). We are keen to find someone with similar lifestyle to ours (probably meaning similar age - 25-35). A little about us: Bree is originally from Melbourne and has just begun a fulltime PhD in marine science. I moved to Hobart from Perth a couple of years ago and work as a physio. We both enjoy camping, hiking, and being outside, and appreciate good food and beverages of the caffeinated and/or alcoholic variety. Feel free to get in touch if we sound like the magical housemates you have been looking for!

Hello, I'm Baxter. I'm in my final year of my Masters of Clinical Psychology at the University of Tasmania. During the week I am either studying at uni or am at work. I also often work on the weekends. I am a clean and active person that tends to be busy and always on the go.
Hello, there! I’m a digital artist looking for a furnished room in a relaxed and tidy household close to Hobart. For the time being, I’m balancing a part-time office day job with freelance and personal projects. I consider myself a shocking introvert, but it’d be nice if my new housemates were people I could share a meal, a few drinks, and a games session with every now and then. I’ve lived in shared houses for three of the past five years, and alone for the other two. Long enough to get a decent idea of how to run a tight ship. I’m also someone who prefers routine, predictability, and clear expectations up front - we’re likely to get along if you’re open to rostered cleaning and such. I left my last home in Launceston after a job I moved up there for fell apart following a company merger. I’ve just been staying with family since then, but it’s way too far out of town for my liking. Work and fun are closely linked for me, but when I’m not drawing, I can be found nerding out on comics, animation, and games, catching up with mates in town for coffee or drinks, or showering love on cool doggos. Once I’m living closer to town, I may pick up some old outdoor hobbies. I have a fair bit of fancy digital art gear to shift when I do move, but I haven’t yet decided whether to set it up in a home office or in one of the coworking spaces in town. I’m probably leaning toward the latter - I think it’s good to have that separation between home and work. All that said, It’s hard to tell how much time I’ll be spending at home - let’s say I’m adaptable on that front. Speaking of doggos - if the property is suitable and you’re open to it, there’s a possibility I could bring one with me. He’s a happy docile short-haired border collie and may be the most affectionate animal on the planet. He gets along well with other dogs but might not be great with other kinds of pets. Hopefully that’s enough to get us started - fling me a message if you think we’ll get along :)
We are William 2nd Year Engineering student and Gabrielle a 1st year Nursing student. We are both very responsible, both work part time, we have been together for 3 years. We are very respectful of each other and understanding of other people not wanting the drama of a couple fighting and carrying on. We enjoy socialsing at times and enjoy an occasional drink but study is our main priority. We are looking for similar singles or couple(s) We are looking to move anytime before the 12th of February.
31 year old Sydney gal moving to Hobart for something a little different, am an office worker but will be branching out into a part-time crafter as well. House trained having house shared in Sydney and Melbourne, non-smoker, love cooking/baking but also keeping clean, the outdoors in general, a cafe where I can pet dogs, wine and crafts (both art and beer kind) and exchanging war stories about how people acquired their scars - my newest was due to a mandolin mishap, gross and fun! As I'm moving across the Strait, I come with the bare minimum but am bringing TV and a lot of kitchen stuff. How much? Probably too much.
You can expect to get friendly roomies, who are responsible, clean and do the dishes. Rules will always be respected while making sure to have fun. We're also Asians with fluent-as English, allow us to bring an oriental twist to any occasion. Looking forward to hearing back from anyone keen!
