I am the girl on the left in the photo. I am an outdoors, sporty female that loves a good social event. I enjoy new adventures and love dogs. I am a clean and neat person to live with. I love to cook, try new exciting food and love trying new cafes and ice-cream places. I also have a 6 month old dog, his name is Leo. Leo is very friendly and loves meeting new people and dogs. I am looking to move out of home with Leo when I start my new full-time trainee ship in the public service. It starts in November but am happy to move out after that.
I am graduating from uni soon and starting a full time position with the public service. I am friendly, funny, clean and quiet and can be flexible with moving dates. I'm always up for a glass of wine and a cheese platter! I enjoy having my own space but also love going out for dinner or watching a movie on the couch. I won’t need a car space. I'm hoping to have my cat live with me eventually, she currently lives in Sydney and is very well behaved. Hope to talk to you soon!
Hi everyone! I am a full-time consultant looking for a place to stay until the end of March - and am hoping to move in around mid-December, before the Christmas shutdown etc. I am quiet, tidy, and very happy either chilling to myself or helping out to cook a shared meal with a cider or two. I have some furniture, but am very happy to rent a furnished room. I can provide my own bedding/towels as well. My favourite hobbies are reading fiction, watching some Netflix or anime, and dancing :)

Hello! After four years as a public servant I’m finally making the move from Brisbane to Canberra In Jan 2019 for a policy role. My move date is flexible from mid December as I’m super keen to find great people to live with! I’m an experienced sharehouser (total 6 years), and considerate and tidy when it comes to common spaces. I’m happy to chat/hang/go on some adventures with housemates, but also pretty independent and like to keep busy out of the house with socialising, gym, lots of walks etc. I’m a dietary vegan (for sustainability reasons - I’m very chill re other people’s lifestyles!) and love cooking delicious veggie based dishes, so a decent kitchen is a must. Other interests include filling the house with bright colours and pretty pot plants, collecting posters from my favourite art exhibitions, literature, and Gorman. I’ll try to visit Sydney/Melbourne/Brisbane regularly to see friends and family and soak in whatever cultural things are happening. Once I’ve settled in Canberra I’ll probably transfer to ANU and keep chipping away at my postgrad coursework degree. I’ve accumulated most of the furniture and appliances needed to furnish a house/apartment, some good quality kitchenware etc. so teaming up to start a new share house is a definite option. Please send me a message if you think I sound like a good fit for your existing or new share house. Can’t wait to chat!
Hi, I’m moving to Canberra from Adelaide to start a new job as a research scientist. I enjoy playing sports (especially tennis) and being out in nature. I’m friendly, respectful, and tidy.
I am a 29 yr old vet, who has recently moved to Canberra from Sydney. I love cooking and baking and sharing whatever I've made. I am always happy to sit and have a chat, but also respect the need for space. I clean up after myself and not opposed to doing whatever dishes there are in the sink. :)
This one bedroom is the perfect abode for a neat and friendly person. Situated in Crace, Canberra's friendliest suburb, the room is furnished with a queen bed and boasts a double wardrobe. The bedroom opens onto the library/reading space which has it's own entrance and sliding door for privacy. You also have your own private toilet and a large bathroom. The house has gas cooking and reverse cycle ducted a/c and heating. Although this is a 4 bedroom home, you will only be sharing the house with my very friendly, small (6kg), old (13), lazy hypoallergenic dog and myself. Occasionally I am away which means you will often have the home to yourself. Aside from the open living area, I have furnished the second living area as a library and have a room dedicated to drying the laundry and a separate guest bedroom that is often used for yoga. My home is less than 5 minutes from the bus stop and the shopping precinct which includes a supermarket, 24 hour gym, bulk billing medical clinic, thai massage parlour, hair dresser and eateries. If you are interested in the room please contact me with the following details about yourself: 1. Who are you? (Occupation, age etc.) 2. What are your interests? Inspection of the room can be organized promptly. If you are interested please contact me with your answers to the above questions. Please note that the room is for a dog loving, tidy and respectful non-smoker.
I'm into cooking, breadmaking, baking, caring for my tomato and herb plants (need sunny area/balcony). Very easy to get along with-- I don't mind a bit of messiness from others but I clean up after myself. I'm a graduate student looking for somewhere near the city.
Second storey apartment with a spacious living room, featuring higher-than-normal ceilings, plenty of natural light and a gorgeous view of Black Mountain Tower. Furnishings in the common area include an impressive flatscreen TV, mirrored kitchen with most essentials (sink, oven, microwave, dishwasher good-sized refrigerator and storage space). Will share electricity, water and internet bills. There's an ensuite in the other bedroom, so the shared bathroom will mostly be for you and guests. The room faces north, making it bright and pleasant and well-ventilated. It overlooks a leafy garden and has made a great study and guest room to date. There's currently a single bed and desk in there, though I'm flexible about swapping these out. While it has pretty decent storage space in the cupboard, the flat's hot water system is also housed in there. That said, I have never heard it make any noise. Parking is available on the street, except between 6:00 and 17:00 on Fridays. That said, the place is superbly located for cycling or walking everywhere, and is an enviable five to ten minutes walk from Lonsdale Street, Civic (including Coles, Dendy and the Canberra Centre), the Australian National University and the Jolimont Bus Station. Turner Parklands nearby are also close by for keeping active and, for drinks, the RUC and Duxton are nearby too.
The PLACE: The townhouse is a 3 minutes drive to Woden town centre and interchange (about a 10 minutes walk) or Canberra Hospital, CIT Woden, service station 3 minutes drive, shopping centre due for completion by Christmas or daily shopping, which will include Coles, Woolworths, specialty stores, takeaways etc. - 3 minutes drive. Quite and nice neighbourhood. The place is fully furnished. The ROOM: 1st room room has a queen size and bedside table. 2nd room is unfurnished. Both rooms are built in mirror covered robes with hanging and shelve space. Available now. Both of you will share the bathroom. The available parking is on the street out the front or in the guest parking. 3 bedrooms upstairs with dining, living areas, laundry room and kitchen downstairs.
