I am a 23 year old from Melbourne. I am moving to Canberra to work as a Speech Pathologist. Looking for a house where people are happy to chat and relax together, but don't have to be around each other all the time.
Hi, my name is Trevor. I am a 31 year old professional working in construction. I have recently moved to Canberra for work and am looking for a place to live. I will be working here for 6 months but could be longer. I am easy going, clean and tidy, like to cook and enjoy a few drinks. I also enjoy exercising, the outdoors & site seeing. To relax I like to chill on the couch and watch a good movie.
My name is Gabi and I am a third year international relations and development studies student at the ANU. I love going to see live gigs, camping, being at the beach, politics and the odd bevvy. I'm generally super laid back, clean up after myself, enjoy socializing, meeting new people and learning new things! I would like to live with people I enjoy hanging out with but am also comfy with having my own space.
It’s a beautiful newly renovated 2 storey townhouse situated in a quiet cul-de-sac. It has a new kitchen and spacious lounge/dining area which opens onto a shaded garden with an outdoor area perfect for those summer evenings! (Please note that furnishings in images differ from actual furnishings) Conveniently located walking distance from Cooleman Court shops with all the essentials plus close proximity for buses to Woden and the city. The bedroom is bright and spacious with built in wardrobes and comes with a double bed (if you'd like to use it). Not suitable for pets. Non-smokers please.
I work in property, am quiet and keep to myself most of the time but do love an occasional chat over food. I am clean and respectful of people's space. My interests include cooking, poetry and Netflix. Can someone also teach me to play drums or box?
The house is large, comfortably furnished and close to Woden. Run by NFP The Foundary, it provides scope for young women to learn life and work skills in a relaxed way as they talk over a meal or doing the dishes. With 3 bathrooms and a mix of single and share rooms, privacy isn't a problem. Entertainment and quiet study areas have been catered for and you meet lots of interesting people. Short or long stay is fine, no contract involved, just 2 weeks rent in advance to get in.
I am looking for a housemate in this 2 bedroom/2 bathroom apartment that is walking distance to the foreshore, Kingston and Manuka. The place is on the top floor, and is spacious and new. You would have the main bedroom, complete with an ensuite bathroom. If you are interested, I would love to hear from you :)
I am currently a Corporate travel consultant moving into nursing. I am a private person, clean and pay my bills on time. I like gardening, movies, games and good food and exercise. Like a place that is peaceful and relaxed. Like to chat just about anything. My budget and lease term is negotiable for the right place. Cheers

Hi I'm Chanel, working and study, just move 1 year ago from Italy. Looking for a room near work. I'm very chill person not annoying, I like watching movie, cooking and go out with friends. Hope to find a good house mate and good place to live in this experience in Australia. Cheers
I'm a young professional, managing a travel agency, and I just recently migrated back home to Canberra after a stint in Sydney. I really enjoy sharing a meal and /or drink after work, and ideally looking for similar aged housemates who are easy to get along with. Having said that I do often work long hours to also value quite down time with a book or a good old fashioned Netflix binge. I enjoy attempting to cook (with varying levels of success) and am a clean and considerate housemate. I travel a fair bit both personally and for work so you can expect me to be away for several weeks of the year! Looking to move anytime but ideally around June.
I'm a 26 year old female student from Amsterdam, currently on exchange at ANU. I'm clean and sociable, I like cooking, and I'm big on arts & culture, so I'm hoping to explore everything that Canberra has to offer during my stay here! I have no allergies, I'm great with pets, and I'm overall a very easy-going person. I accidentally took five gap years between high school and uni, spent quite a few years in Berlin, Melbourne and England, and am now dedicating my time to (political) philosophy, sociology and art theory (feel free to mock the uselessness of my degree).

We ar looking a place where while we are able to settle down, because we are just arriving to the city.
I'm working full time as a management consultant in PWC. I'm chill and sporty. I've travelled Asia, Europe and Africa and would love to meet travellers alike. I'm a clean freak that I might sometimes clean the house so others don't have to.
Great house in a lovely quiet suburb! The room is Bedroom 2 in the attached floorplan and the house will be shared with one other female. The room easily fits a double bed and has built in wardrobes. Hi all! I originate from Melbourne but have been in Canberra for the last few years. I'm starting a grad job at the end of Feb and am looking to share with another roommate a place in the inner north. I'm a non-smoker so would prefer to not live with other smokers. I'm tidy and firmly believe in keeping common areas clean. During the week I'm looking for a quiet home to come home to but will likely go out and be active on the weekends. I respect the privacy of others but I will be happy to catch up over some wine. I love traveling, cooking and my guilty pleasure is endless Netflix! My moving date is flexible, so message me!
Im from batemans bay, enjoy most sport especially riding and boarding, just finished year 12. Im an apprentice electrician working 6 until 430 in canberra usually 6 days a week and try to go to the coast on days off. Im sociable but due to work i dont party or stay up very late.
Hey My partner and I are moving down to Canberra as he has been transferred down there for work. At present it is a temporary move however it is for the foreseeable future just now. He works full time in demolition and I will be looking for work ASAP having just given up my job in Sydney as a tour guide. As we are new to Canberra we are not too familiar with the suburbs however we think South Canberra would be more suitable for us. We liked the area of Kingston Foreshore with some restaurants and bars to go to so something of this nature is what we are looking for. We are also fairly flexible with move in dates as have some temporary accommodation just now. We are both really easy going people to live with and have lived in numerous share-houses big and small so understand what it means to live with other people. We are ideally looking for a one bedroom apartment or share-house with max 2-3 other people. We are both from Scotland and have lived all around Australia for the last 3.5 years so used to travelling and meeting new people. We are of course fairly sociable although I'm sure like most we also do enjoy time to ourselves too. We tend to go out for dinners and explore places when we can and would enjoy living with other like-minded people.

Your room can be furnished with a single bed, mattress, desk and drawers if required. Only a 15 min/ 950m walk to major bus interchange (Cohen St). Sorry, no smokers or additional pets.
Considerate, respectful public servant. I like to chill over a beer or a DVD.
Position, position, position... its so hard to capture this wonderfully lovely place in my quick snapshot photos. I've been renting in Canberra for 6 years and THIS homely house is the best bang for my rental $$ than anywhere else I've rented in Canberra. Ive been here 2 years. On offer is a VERY LARGE bedroom overlooking the front porch, surrounded by native gardens. The house is a 1950's solid brick, with most of its original charm still intact, including original 50's kitchen with a wood stove, next to the more modern gas stove. Original 50s bathroom with a HUGE pale blue full size bath and a more modern shower. Unlike most other houses of similar age in Canberra, this place has been very well insulated (thanks to Kevin Rudd), it never gets hot in Summer, and has efficient central heating for the winter. There is loads of cupboard space in the bedrooms and even more in the cavernous hallway/ballroom. Being across the road from Lyneham Shops; with a Butcher, Bakery, A Candlestick-maker, IGA Supermarkert, The Front Cafe, Tilleys, a Post Office AND having a bus stop to ANU on the doorstep are huge benefits. Overall its a very spacious and homely house with loads of storage space, huge low maintenance rear garden with a productive vegetable patch and 4 chickens. There is also a secure 1.5 car garage, a handy easy access lockable bicycle shed, and a gardening shed for EVEN more storage if needed. If you'd like to see the place please send me a message here.
