Hi! I’m Qi. I’m from China, I have lived in Melbourne for five years, now going to Canberra business and technology college for diploma studies. I’m easy going, tidy, and want to make friends here :) I have a cat with me, he is shy but friendly and love to around with people. If you prefer no pet, please let me know, my friend can take care of him during these days.
Urgently looking for an accommodation, migrating to Canberra in July 2018. I am a cleanliness loving and friendly person to live with. I prefer Indian only GIRLS flatmates. A little more about myself, I am a Web Graphic designer who is going to migrate to Canberra on permanent residency basis in probably coming August 2018. I am very fond of doing creative stuff whether it is a Website designing, Graphics work, dress designing, interior decoration, fine arts, temporary tattoo making, oil painting, watercolor painting, fabric painting, mythological art, ethnic art, etc. I am crazy for every sort of creativity :).
Great inner-north location, just 10 minutes from Civic and ANU. This house fronts on to a large park/reserve area leading up to Mt. Majura. It’s also only a 7 minute walk to Watson shops (home to The Knox café) and the Farmers Market open every Saturday 7.30am – 11.30am. It is a modern house with a large open plan living, dining and kitchen area, separate ‘Cinema Room’, decent backyard with outside entertainment area, gas heating and NBN. All four bedrooms are quite spacious with built in wardrobes, there are two bathrooms (one ensuite) with a separate toilet. The house itself is fully furnished and the room for rent is unfurnished.
We are relocating from QLD to Canberra and would love a share house to get a feel for Canberra and apply for our own place without time pressure so that we can find the perfect place. I am currently working for a Ski & Scuba shop in Fyshwick and Tom will be working in Mitchell for the 4WD SupaCentre. We are quiet, polite and are not party people but love a social drink and good food. We are happy to live anywhere in Canberra.
Overall Hello, we are looking for a fourth housemate the house has four bedrooms. Its an old house built in 1971 so I will admit that it does not have street appeal and the lino in the kitchen is outdated (well, maybe the whole kitchen) but the house is clean and you will be safe and comfortable. Room size All rooms have floor to ceiling built-ins and extend the width of the room. Sizing excludes the wardrobes. The room is 4.2 m x width 3.2 m Other rooms The kitchen is established with a separate breakfast bar. The dinning area is between the kitchen and the lounge room. The dinning table extends to seat 6. Parking The property has a double garage, for some storage and a space left for my car. There is off street parking at the back for 3 cars. Heating and cooling Ducted heating warms the house in winter. A fan with stand is in all rooms for the summer. Surrounds I know my neighbours and when we see each other we have little chat. Parks and reserves are all around in Farrer and its a lovelly walk around the suburb. The house is close to an IGA and 3 eateries. Acton Buses no 23 and 24 public transport is across the road which takes you to Woden Bus Interchange. Acton Bus 300 series along Athlon Drive ( a 12 min walk away) run every 5 to 8 minutes to Woden Bus Interchange, City and Belconnen Bus Interchange. Woden and Belconnen are satellite cities which means there’s no need to go into the city for shopping and the like. Bus time to Woden is <10min and about 25 min to Civic. Belconnen will take you 1 hour on the bus.
The house is in a great spot here in Red Hill with the local shops a 1 minute walk, the bus stops just across the road and Manuka only a 5 minute drive away. There is reverse cycle a/c in the living room and unlimited wifi available. The master bedroom has a lot of room for whatever you need, it comes with BIR and is furnished. There’s a great study room attached to the large living room, so perfect for a student. Cats considered as we used to have one here.
Looking for a housemate or a group of individuals Moving anytime (no hurry, hopefully staying for about a year to experience living at another house for a change) I'm a full-time student at the UC. Casual employed as a bartender. I'm currently in second year studying accounting. I'm easy to get along with, clean and respectful; happy to be social but also respect privacy. In my spare time, I like catching up with friends (maybe even a drink or two), socialising, rock climbing, binge Netflix, going to cultural things and going to the gym. Feel free to message me. Kind regards Sam Ng
Hi, my name is Claire, I am a French student in engineering. I am coming to Canberra from the 11th of May to the 12th of August to do a research internship at the Australian National University (ANU) (I will be working in the research school of earth sciences.) Therefore, I am looking for an accomodation for this period. I am very sociable and open minded. I would really enjoy to meet people from any country, any culture, opinion, ... During my stay, I would like to discover Australia and especially the surrounding of Canberra.
My house is a super safe, quiet little place. It's not big - three smallish size bedrooms and a shared through bathroom. It is a townhouse with shared walls on both sides, but quiet neighbours. Really close to public transport and with good proximity to shops. Currently I have two spare bedrooms - one is set up for guests with a sofa bed, and the third is set up for yoga/Pilates. My intention is to rent out the third room (empty or with the sofa bed) and make the yoga room suitable for guests. The lounge/dining/kitchen space is in one room and is fairly well stocked. I don't have a Tv! I know it's weird but I tend to watch my iPad in bed. There's air conditioning in the lounge and a gas heater. There is a garden but it is a total work in progress. Aka, it's a dirt patch that I want to turn into a lush green space ideal for handstands and lying in the sun. I do have a small dog door from when my dog lived with me. My main hope in renting my room out is not only to find a friend, but hope the extra income can help me do some upgrades for the home, eg a dishwasher, a lawn etc. I host dinner/lunch parties relatively frequently , andhave friends and family from interstate who come to stay with me, sometimes for extended periods of time eg for seasonal work.
This fantastic property is located within walking distance to shops, bus stops, schools and sporting grounds. Its in a great area of Calwell up on the hills with ample parking including a circular driveway, carport and garage. 3 bedroom + study house with 1 main bathroom and a seperate toilet/wash room. Really nice kitchen with quality appliances, big lounge room with a wood fire place (wood is supplied) and a seperate dining room leading off it. The yard is a pretty decent size with a small garden shed and paved entertaining area. The main bedroom (king size) and 1 smaller queen size room is available to choose from and they are both up the far end of the house. Slate flooring throughout except for the bedrooms which are carpeted. The house is fully furnished however I am happy to discuss options with any potential house mate as I'm not really attached to anything. House also has solar power. All in all this a really comfy, spacious and nice house in a great area!
Hi, my name is Kaitlin. I am planning on moving to Canberra from the South Coast of NSW early June. I start my Masters degree at ANU in July and will be working part-time. Looking for a share apartment to meet new people. I am neat, social and respectful! I love to try new things, and am looking forward to exploring Canberra a bit more! Looking forward to meeting like-minded people!
Hey there. A bit about myself: My name is Mel, 25 years young and I've been in Canberra for the last seven years. Of those seven, I've lived in shared accommodation for five, and have yet to fail paying my rent on time. During the week, I work full-time in a consulting firm. In my spare time, I'm pretty fond of hiking, Netflix, cooking and checking out events at galleries. I consider myself to be a fairly career focused, courteous, neat and friendly person. While I don't have the expectation to become best mates, I also don't want to be living with a complete stranger. I'd love to have a chat over coffee and see if we are well-suited housemates. If things pan out, I'm looking to make things happen quickly. I have a few listings in mind already. Let me know if you're keen. Thanks!
I am an independent, quiet woman working full time and looking for a place for myself and my pet rabbit. I respect peoples' privacy and space but am also happy to be sociable, whether with wine and a chat, a walk or a Netflix binge! Also, my bunny is the cutest...not biased!

Hey I’m Taylah and I work full time in retail management! I’m going back to study in winter term, and will be doing a psychology degree majoring in forensics. I am very clean and neat, but love to lounge around and play PlayStation in my spare time. I’ve lived in Canberra most of my life, but don’t work in the public service so you can say I’ve done well for myself. I’m always up for a chat at the end of the day, and will gladly binge Netflix with you! Feel free to give me a message. I’m bad at talking about myself.
