I am starting a Masters in Economics at ANU from 20 February, and am looking for accommodation around uni. I am currently scheduling the move to Canberra ASAP. A bit about me: I am 23 and easy going, looking to move in with likeminded people. I have been sharing with my housemates in Sydney since March last year, so am well versed in the art of share housing. I know when to keep to myself, but also happy to share the occasional dinner/drinks. I clean up after myself always, and contribute to the household regularly. I am easy going, and will be working part time and studying the rest of the time.
Hello, I'm moving out of Canberra so regrettably my room in a flat shared with 3 other quiet but sociable students has become available for rent. The room comfortably fits a double/queen bed and comes furnished with a desk, chair, bookshelves, and built-in-wardrobe (the bed in the picture is not included). The flat is centrally located in Campbell - only a 10 minute walk to the Canberra Centre and 20 minute walk to the ANU. The flat comes with communal cultery and cooking utensils, washing machine, clothesline and a fortnightly cleaner. There is also a covered parking space which you are free to use (no-one else drives so its exclusively yours). Rent is paid fortnightly ($380) and the bond is 4 weeks rent ($760) payable upon entering into the agreement. The term of the occupancy agreement is for one year. Utilities are not included in the rent - the Internet connection costs $10 per month and water/electricity typically costs around $70 every 3 months. If you have any questions or want to arrange an inspection please get in touch!

Hello! I'm a recent graduate from Melbourne and will be moving to Canberra between mid to late Jan for a job. I am very easy going and will respect your personal space. I enjoy spending time by myself but am happy to hang out. What I'm looking for: - private bedroom - private bathroom (or shared with one other person) - quiet, tidy and clean place - easy access to public transport - reasonable internet - shared living areas
Hey all! I am an international student from Hong Kong and will be studying in ANU. I am moving alone so I don't know anyone in Australia/Canberra. I am a respectful and down to earth person who is a bit quiet at first but can be fun to talk to when I get to know a person. I like watching movies, reading, listening to music, napping on a beach, exploring new places, eating different kinds of cuisine, local street food and having a few drinks with friends. I don't smoke and I don't have pets. I am a tidy person and don't make noise. I would love to live with people who are friendly and tidy. Flat-wise I prefer a place within walking/bicycles distance of ANU. I don't mind sharing bathroom but I prefer to have my own furnished lockable room.
I'm about to go traveling with my sister for several months - I am likely to be back in the middle of the year - but (if you find you'd like to stay) another room in the house is expected to become available at some point. I love living at Chowne, with my two gorgeous, intelligent housemates - I have a spacious room with lovely outlook over the large backyard. We live in a quiet street, close to bus stops and an easy walk into town or down to the lake. Hannah has quite the green thumb, and maintains a wonderful vege garden in the front yard. When we find the time to be social, a diverse bunch of interesting creative friends liven up our living room (whether eating cheese and discussing anime, watching Game of Thrones, or dancing to our record collection). There is plenty of shared living space, including a room with a smart TV and Xbox. Our kitchen is spacious and well-equipped for cooking. The room includes a double bed, a book case, chest of drawers, a small desk, and lots of built in wardrobe space. During winter the room gets nice and cosy with the central heating.

Kyle and I are fourth year law students at ANU who've been living on campus for the past three years. We both like sport and talking smack. Very interested in teaming up to find a share house somewhere in the inner north!
It's 3 bedroom house less than a 5 minute drive to the Hyperdome (10 minutes by bike). (prices and move in dates are negotiable) There's a bus stop right next to the house and there's also an IGA and Gym that's just a 5 minute walk away. All rooms can easily fit a queen sized bed in it and a small desk if you wanted, otherwise there' and open study available. Common areas are fully furnished, but there's still plenty of room for additional stuff. Eg a second couch for lazy days. There's also plenty of space at the back of the garage if you have more stuff. There's an air conditioner in the living room to keep you cool in summer. And a dishwasher for if you ever get too lazy to wash them yourself. I like to keep the house tidy and would prefer a rotating cleaning roster of the house every two weeks or so.
Hi, my name is Carley, I'm 22 and currently in my second year of Nursing at the University of Canberra. Im a pretty easygoing, tidy person who loves to socialise and meet new people. I have moved back home for the summer break and would ideally be looking for a house mid January but I am able to move in whenever, as long as its before uni starts back in February.

I understand that everyone needs their own personal space, but I am happy to hear about your day and enjoy a drink, some food, and a movie every so often. :-) I look forward to hearing from you!

I'm a PhD student at ANU. I spend most of my time at uni during the week, but like to relax and hang out at home at the end of the day. I'm a pretty flexible person. I like a bit of both worlds, partying or relaxing. Nothing that isn't planned ahead can't be done. Just let me know in advance about a party or people staying over and I'll be fine with it. Plus, I also want to be able to have friends over at times. Regarding tidiness, I'm not obsessed by cleaning, but I don't like dirty toilets for example. I like to clean the house once a week and don't tend to leave dishes in the sink for long. I prefer to share a house with another female around my age. I'm also fine living with couples. I need a place with walking distance to ANU that fits in my budget (up to 200/week) Get in touch with me if we match ;) Cheers, Dani

Hi! I'm from Melbourne and will be moving up to Canberra in January to start a graduate position with the Australian Public Service. As I'll be new to Canberra, I'm keen to explore the city's food and live music venues as well as check out some of the national parks and scenery outside the city on weekends. To live with - I am easy going and sociable, and make a great TV binge watching companion. I also love cooking, brunch... a lot, hiking, tennis and snowboarding (although I wish my skills reflected this more accurately). I'm hoping to find one other person to establish a share house with and find a place relatively close to the city in Braddon, Ainslie, Reid or Turner. Feel free to shoot me a message - I'd love to meet up for coffee and discuss things further :)
We are both from Melbourne and moving up to Canberra in January to commence grad positions with the Australian Public Service. We are hoping to find one other person to establish a share house with and find a place in Braddon, Ainslie, Dickson, Reid or Campbell. We are easy going, sociable, and as it's our first time living in Canberra, we are both keen to check out new venues/bars/restaurants and see what the city has to offer. Things we like: - Brunch.... a lot, particularly the infamous smashed avo of which we are told is drastically impacting our ability to save for a future house deposit - Cooking (Emma also enjoys baking, Erika enjoys eating Emma's creations) - Checking out live music - Films - Vietnamese food & dumplings (basically a pre-requisite to living in Melbourne) - Hiking/jogging - Snowboarding Erika is moving up on 9 January to try and find a place and Emma will be joining shortly after. Shoot us a message, we'd love to hear from you :)
Hi future housemates, My name is Richard, I'm 28 and I'll be moving to Canberra in January for work. I'm very laid back and sociable so get along with just about anyone. I keep pretty active, used to be a keen rower and now have a go at just about anything to stop going stir crazy! I've lived in share houses before so I'm happy living with housemates, doing my bit around the house, chilling out at home and respecting each other's space. I am neat and tidy, non smoker, social drinker but definitely not a huge party animal. Prefer to live with like minded people and become friends rather than just housemates.
Returning to full time work in the health industry after a year off traveling the world (currently ski instructing in Switzerland!)... Active, well trained flatmate who loves cooking and sharing a bottle of wine every now and then.
Hi. I work part-time at a large sporting complex and am also studying honours in psychology. I'm a quiet, clean and easy-going person who enjoys reading, watching tv and movies, sewing and crafty things, playing board and card games and just generally chilling and having a c
Im Amy, I'm 21 years old and about to start my third year at the ANU (: I'm looking for a laid-back but tidy house, and would love to be living with people who are happy to be mates and have a chat, come on a coast-trip or to accompany me on a late-night Kmart run. Obviously though time alone is also super important and I am understanding and respectful of that. I'm completely happy to answer any questions, so please feel free to send me a message any time (:
I'm currently working full time in the city and would like to find a place walking distance to work. Outside of work, I dance a couple of times a week and may try to fit in other activities. I'm organised, clean, respectful and pretty easy going. I enjoy sharing a meal and unwinding the day together but I am also fine doing my own things.
Hi! I'm a full time public servant and law student at ANU. I enjoy cooking, eating and having a few drinks with housemates but also happy to do my own thing. Looking forward to chatting with you :)
I'm Camila and I am currently living in Brisbane. I work full-time in the APS, and I my work is now taking me to Canberra. I am an easy-going, friendly person, who likes to socialize but is also respectful of others' space. I'm tidy and like to keep my place clean and organized. Neat, good personal hygiene, great company, hilarious and humble. Moving from Melbourne to the our country's fabulous (ahem) capital to further my career and pursue higher(er) education. For fun I like to eat and shop beyond my means, not exercise and read. A bit to much. Kthanksbai!
