Hey yo! Joel here! I'm originally from Malaysia and am looking for a place for me to settle for at least one year while I get my masters done. I'm studying Masters in International Law in the ANU. I will also be working and studying to be admitted into court. Hence, I will be fairly busy in 2017. In terms of being a flatmate, the thing I value most is cleanliness - I like keeping things tidy and clean, especially the bathroom. I respect privacy and hope to receive the same. Having said that, I am a rather social person. I love the idea of sharing a conversation over a meal, or even perhaps doing something interesting over the weekend. I'm pretty open minded and respect diversity in any form. I may occasionally sing in the shower though, so I guess that is something to be aware of. =)
Friendly | Social | APS Grad | Music lover | Neat | Non-smoker | Relocating from Perth in January | 😊 🌎 🍷 🍳 🎶 📷 🎓 __________________________________ Hey there, I’m moving over from Perth in mid-January to take up a grad position with the Department of Education and Training. I’ve lived with over 1000 people (if you count my time at college), so I’m very experienced when it comes to being a great housemate! Since uni, I’ve also lived with a number of housemates, both girls and guys. I’m a big fan of music and I’m an avid Triple j listener. I’m also really into travel, good food, social sport, photography and having a few casual drinks! I’m a good cook, meticulously neat (but not in a crazy way!), a non-smoker and (sadly) I don't own any pets! Ideally, I'd like to live with 1-3 people, preferably with those of a similar age. I’m a very easy-going and accepting person, but if you’re a Pauline Hanson supporter, or if you prefer smooth peanut butter over crunchy, we’re probably not going to get along! Send me a message if you think I’d be a good fit for your existing place, or if you'd like to team up and find a place. I'm also more than happy to put you in contact with my current housemate if you'd like to make sure I'm not a complete weirdo! Cheers, Sam 😊
The villa is fully furnished with brand new kitchen, lounge, laundry and heating and cooling air-con (lounge area only). New tenant/s is/are welcomed to bring your own bed. There are 2 rooms available for $300 a week (shared bathroom and bills aren't included) or you can just rent the 1 room (solo tenant) for $250 per week (all bills included, 1 car space and own ensuite) on a minimum of 6-month lease, payable fortnightly, with bond equals to 4 week rent. Solo occupant has the option to rent 2 rooms for $300 a week (all bills included). 1 to 2 new tenants are welcome.
Norwegian embassy intern staying in Canberra for the next 6 months. I've been living in East Asia for the last two years and will go back to China after the summer. I'll be quite busy during the week, but hope to find some easygoing flatmates who doesn't mind eating dinner together once in awhile (preferably mid twenties and older). I'm a big fan of keeping common rooms tidy and clean, and your room is your business unless kitchen equipment mysteriously disappears. I'm fine with a party at home once in awhile, but prefer a majority of quiet weekends and minimum of noise after bedtime.
Hey, I'm moving back to Canberra after a year travelling in South America (and I'm not looking forward to another Canberra winter!). I'm looking for a share house in the the northern suburbs, or to team up and rent a place close to the city centre. I work in government, am tidy and enjoy relaxing with housemates over a glass of wine after work. I am usually out and about during the weekends, heading to the markets and catching up with friends. If you have a place available or are interested in renting a sharehouse let me know! Thanks, Kathleen
I'm an APS grad and my girlfriend and I are both good cooks, love movie nights and drinking tea. We are relatively quiet and neat but enjoying sharing meals with our housemates. We have both lived out of home before and bring a lot of furniture and appliances to our next household. I am originally from Launceston and we are making the move from melbourne for work. Our hobbies include gaming, yoga, gardening, baking and searching for the best Japanese food in town.
3 Bedroom Sharehouse in O'Connor, ACT, right around the corner from Lyneham Shops. 1 Bedroom available from 20 January 2017. Potential for negotiation for earlier date if necessary. Room is not furnished. Living areas of house will be partially furnished. Rent is $850 per month paid in advance for following month. Utilities for gas, water and electricty are between $150 - $250 per person each quarter. Higher amount is an exaggerated figure as it reflects potential winter costs. Unlimited Internet is $20 per month. We have gas heating as well as a gas stove. 1 Bathroom to share between 3 people, which contains shower and bath. Beautiful deck area in large backyard.
I've just finished an arts/law degree at ANU and am looking for somewhere to live when I start full-time work in Canberra next year. I'm an easy-going and respectful housemate who appreciates the occasional housemate hangout (hopefully featuring wine/tea and trashy TV) but also understands the need for personal space and quiet time. I've also been living out of home for the last seven years so I'm totally house-trained - I pay bills on time, clean up after myself and know how to share and respect common spaces.
working full time as a registered nurse Very reliable, very clean and very tidy Relocating to the ACT in 2017! 🙃 Not moving down till June, preferably looking for a house with 1-2 other female flat mates! I have no pets but love pets so much 🐶🐱

Looking forward to hearing from you. Large Gardens Large entertaining deck Ducted Gas Heating Air Conditioning
Hi and welcome to my listing. I am originally an Adelaide girl, with a newfound Canberra spirit. I am interested in living with like-minded individuals... ones that have a love for anything wine and food, participate in life and have mutual respect for the people residing in their house. I am studying occupational therapy and looking for a shared house to call a home during my final placement between 20th Jan - 22nd March. I look forward to meeting potential future housemates. Jessica :)
I am a friendly and adventurous person who prefers quiet Friday nights at home. I like to keep spaces, especially common areas, clean and presentable. I am respectful of others' privacy, the way I like mine to be treated, but am also up for chats over dinner and hanging out. I'm also a big dog lover, having 3 of my own (but they won't be moving with me). I'll be moving from Sydney to Canberra for work in 2017, so it'll definitely be an experience moving away from home. I love being out in nature, hiking and exploring new places. I have a huge soft spot for food, so I like trying out new and different cafes. I also enjoy spending time with friends and getting to know people. In my own time, I like to write, read, play music, and watch TV shows :)
Aidan and I are both young adults looking to move out of home. Both of us are tidy and able to cook and clean. Aidan will be starting university at UC in 2017 and I have a part-time job in Tuggeranong. We have our own personal furniture (bed, bookcase, set of draws etc.) but can pitch in to buy things such as cooking utensils and other furniture if need be. In our spare time we (mostly Aidan) play video/computer games, read, and other quiet things. We are also interested in camping, indoor rock climbing, and hiking etc. We are looking to move out around the beginning of March, or possibly sooner, depending on how things turn out.

I am a bubbly 21 year old who was born and bred in Canberra, currently working part time while studying. I am looking to move into another share house/apartment as my lease has with my current housemate. I am a very clean person and enjoy cooking and keeping active as well as being social with friends. I enjoy spending time around Canberra and am keen on being able to make new friends. Although being extremely social I appreciate the need for personal time and space and as someone who both studies and works I also understand the need for me time! I am excited and happy to meet with people who have rooms for rent around the city/central Canberra due to work location :)
Hi there! My boyfriend George and I are looking for a housemate to share the rent of a flat in northern Lyneham for 2017. We're after someone long-term (preferably a whole year or so, but at a minimum six months). The flat has two bedrooms and one bathroom. The place is essentially brand new as the complex was only completed a few years ago. The kitchen is large and fully equipped. The lounge/dining area is also furnished (but if you have a bigger TV that would be awesome - ours is a little underwhelming). We've also got a PS3 with a couple of games. There is a balcony with some seats where smoking is OK. The flat is about a 15 minute bus ride from Civic, and a two-minute walk from Dickson shops (Woolworths, McDonalds, pharmacy, library etc.). The complex itself has a moderately sized gym and indoor pool that are free to use. The Bedroom It is important to note that the bedroom does not have a window. It has a sliding door with a frosted glass pane, and bright ceiling lights, however it does not have a window. It also has a built-in cupboard, however with no shelves or racks for hanging clothes (our previous roommate brought in a chest of drawers to solve this issue). The room is unfurnished and would easily fit a queen bed. Bills and Extras Water is included on the lease. Gas and electricity bills are issued quarterly and split evenly (adjusting for how long someone's been living here, of course). We only have one reserved secure underground park, which you can have for an extra $10 a week. Otherwise there is a small amount of guest parking. About Us We are both twenty year old (soon to be) third-year ANU students. I'm studying Law/Archaeology and George Pyschology. We're both quiet people who enjoy our own space. We don't really have guests over all that often and prefer to use the apartment to relax, study, and cook shoddy student meals. We have one pet - a cockatiel named Charlie who is super friendly. About you We're looking for someone who is preferably in the same boat (student/working) at ANU or UC or wherever. We've had both male and female roommates in the past so any gender is welcome. Preferably no pets, unless you've got a fish or something small and containable. We're going to be between Canberra and Sydney until at least mid-February, so you'd have the place somewhat to yourself until then. - Secure underground carspace - Indoor pool and gym access - Dishwasher - Washing machine and dryer

HI! My name is Marianne, 24, from the Philippines. I'm looking for a place to stay whilst I am having my internship in Acton as a chef for 1 whole year. I'll be coming to Australia either late December or early January. It would be much appreciated if the place is furnished and has a private bath, but I dont mind having a shared bathroom, also my max budget is 250 if possible including bills. I'm quite sociable but ofcourse also prefers time to myself sometimes, I dont mind sharing chores, I would like to live with similar types of people, who also takes the initiative to clean up after themselves. I am very fond of books, music and I also have an interest in makeup artistry. :) I hope to find a great place to stay
