About the property
The house is a fully equipped, heritage-listed Victorian Terrace with hardwood floors. The house is fully secure with bars on the windows, security doors and outdoor cameras. It is a 3 minute work from Footscray train station which is 3 stops from the city with regular services. There are many shops, bars and restaurants a short distance away. It's a short walk to the Maribyrnong River with beautiful walking and cycling paths. It's in a lovely safe part of the neighbourhood.
There's internet, a television with a sound bar, many books you can enjoy, back and front yard that get sun, large kitchen and laundry. I have a visitor pass for the permit-only parking out the front of the house.
I also know Melbourne (and most of Australia) quite well and would happy to help out with whatever you're interested in learning or knowing about the area.
The bedroom that is available has a king bed with an excellent firm Koala mattress. There are no other furnishings in the room but I do have additional items you could use if needed.

About the flatmates
I'm a software engineer who works full time in the Melbourne CBD. I'm looking for someone respectful and friendly to rent my spare bedroom on a flexible basis. It will be just you and me in the house. I consider myself an approachable and non-judgmental person and would hope you're the same.
I am out of the house most days working or seeing friends. I also regularly travel outside of Melbourne for a week or so to visit family, so you'll have a lot of space.
