Unfurnished room with ensuite. Expected to be available from the week of December 11th. My vacating housemate has suggested she has some flexibilty though and could get out as early as Mid-November (if she's given enough notice :-) ) It's a beautiful 2 level house with lots of light and greenery. House is fully furnished except for the spare bedroom (a queen bed base is available if required but no mattress. A tall boy is also available should you require more storage). The available bedroom is on the upper level with the living space and kitchen. It has a large ensuite with a spa bath and shower, built in robes and room for a Queen bed. The bedrooms/bathrooms are located on seperate floors and so allow for a little privacy when required. The upstairs is airconditioned and has ducted heating and the kitchen comes equipped with a dishwasher, gas stove, electric oven and a shared fridge. There is a washing machine in a small laundry and a clothes line out the back. There is a garage that has space for 1 car (possibly two small cars, but this theory has never been tested. It's currently used for storage only) and there's space to park in the driveway. Currently myself and the vacating tenant use the driveway and park on street. I'm happy to discuss parking arrangements however. House is also convenient for Tulla/Calder Freeways and Ring Road. So its quick to get to the Airport and into the city. There are resident cats who are very affectionate. They will give you love so be prepared. But because of this there is no space for more pets unfortunately. The cats are indoor/outdoor cats but only allowed out in the backyard which has cat nets to prevent them from roaming. There is no litter tray inside the house as the cats have permanent access to the enclosed space out the back. Some caution would be required to make sure they do not get out the front door.

Hi! I'm looking for a housemate to share my two bedroom, two bathroom apartment in Essendon North. The available room is decently sized (a king bed doesn't fit too well with the layout though... I tried) with a built-in robe and its own ensuite. The building is ideally situated directly across from a number of chic eateries, like Macca's and KFC. There's also a tram stop almost right out the front with services every 10 minutes which take about 30 minutes to the CBD. The apartment is furnished apart from the empty bedroom, but we could probably fit some more furniture if you have any of your own (those with a sizeable pot plant collection are particularly encouraged to get in contact). We also have a storage cage in the basement if needed. The stay length is flexible and the room will likely be available for a few years for the right person, although I'd prefer a 3-6 month lease to begin with and see how things go. Guys, girls, and couples from any background are welcome, as are pets if you have a chilled dog or cat that's suited to living in an apartment. My partner, myself and our housemate, have a one room available in our fully furnished home . It contains a Queen size bed with mattress, pillows, blanket, sheets, side tables, lamps and built in robes. It is a three bedroom house and you will be sharing a bathroom with one female housemate who is currently on a study visa from Japan. We have an open living area that is fully furnished with a tv in both dining and the lounge room. There is ducted heating and a reverse cycle air conditioner. The kitchen is fully contained, it has three fridges, a walk in pantry, microwave, gas stove top and conventional oven. The laundry is equipped with a two large washing machines, and a number of drying racks. There is a small courtyard with clothes line. There is a bus stop on Buckley street, which is just a short walk away which takes you direct to the train station on Buckley street We have one cat and one dog, both very friendly.
You get a private room with a single bed, drawers and a clothes rack. Your own bathroom, a small fridge to use, and the use of kitchen utensils and appliances. I have Foxtel and offer free wifi. I'm sorry the only AC in the house is the portable one in the lounge. The bus stop is 3 houses down and it's approx 10min walk to the train station. It takes nearly 30min to get to Flinders station. Glenroy is a close walk from here.
