It’s about a minute's walk to the nearest bus stop and five minutes to the Newmarket train station which gets you to the city within 10 minutes. We are also less than 10 minutes away by bus to QUT Kelvin Grove campus and La Boîte Theatre. It’ll take you just 10 minutes to get to the city by car, traffic pending, and there’s plenty of street parking and a secure car space shared with one other person. The room itself is a medium size with a built in wardrobe, large window and ceiling fan. It has direct access to the bathroom which is shared by one other person. The room can come furnished or unfurnished, its up to you! The move in date can be anytime between the 9th of October and the 21st of October. If you would like to move in later than this date we would have to negotiate with our current housemate :) Unfortunately this is not a pet friendly house. * The photo of the room is not the actual furniture it comes with! Bus is usually taking between 10 to 15 mins to get to the valley or cbd. All tenants are professional worker or students and will be away most of day time. Like to share a meal, a drink or talk. Located 5km from the city and 3km QUT! Its a wonderful queenlander, that is big and spacey for 3 people and huge yard for activities! We are situated right next to the Newmarket park nestled between Windsor Homemaker centre, Aldi and the Newmarket Coles centre which has Grilld, Sushi, Nando's, domino's, Indian etc.. All of the food options! There are buses which go directly to the city/QUT, and the train station is nearby which go to the valley/city. If your more active the bike way is also at the end of the street, which will take you to the Royal Brisbane Hospital in under 10 mins or the city in a 20-25min ride. The room easily fits a double bed, desk and cupboard. It has high ceilings and a fan that blows like a typhoon. The light is controlled by remote, so no getting out of bed to turn the light off ;). It is furnished at the moment, but if you would like to bring your own gear I can move it to my storage. Internet is $60/month which we split, and gas and electricity is split between us also. Though there is solar so electricity is generally very low or none existent.
This townhouse is close to Wilston village, only 300m to Wilston train station, and has the option of three different bus routes to the city. An easy cycle or walk to RBWH. The room is approximately 2.75 x 3m, plus built-ins, and ensuite with dual access for visitor use. The bedrooms are on different levels. There is a private courtyard off the living room with outside hanging space and room for a potted herb garden. There is plenty of garage storage if you have a bike / surf boards. The bedroom is unfurnished, but the townhouse is fully furnished, most importantly including coffee machine ;-). Apart from the usual, kitchen is also gas and has a dishwasher. Unfortunately no air con in the bedroom or living room. Rent includes internet. Other bills to be split are: gas, electricity, water, and a fortnightly cleaner (approx $35 each per fortnight).

It is furnished (including kitchenware and dishwasher) but we are flexible. It's a short walk to the train or bus or to enjoy a coffee at one of the many cafes only one street away.

Queenslander style house, large kitchen, front and back decks, great neighborhood. Close to shops and buses with a bike path and parks at the end of the street. I have 2 friendly dogs so you must love dogs. Water and power bills are not included. The room can be furnished or unfurnished, I am afraid there is only 1 bathroom. I am in my 40's fit, organised and very tidy. Would like someone easy going, who likes a chat or glass of wine but is happy for some quiet time as well.
