Location, location, location! The unit is extremely close to everything you require, with transport to the city taking roughly 10-20 minutes via public transport. Three living areas, huge backyard, huge awesome kitchen with gas cooking. 3 airconditioners, 2 in bedrooms and one large one in the lounge. Massive storage area under the house. Gorgeous chillout space downstairs looking out onto the backyard. No back neighbours, just the barracks, which is mostly quiet. Front room has a large builtin wardrobe and own air-conditioning. (approx 4m x 3.6m) $175pw, $250 for a couple. Downstairs has three rooms and views of the backyard. It is a huge private space and the largest private area in the house. The room likely preferred as a bedroom is 4m x 3.7m, but has concrete flooring. However, I do have carpet squares which should cover most of it. Next to it is second room that may be able to be offered as an office, or bedroom if you want it is 2.3m x 4.5m. These two rooms join a living area of 6m x 3.4m. It is a perfect huge private area with leafy views. However, the landlord reports that during extreme storms of the kind that make the news of cause flash flooding around Brisbane, some water can come in to this downstairs area, but this is about once a year. So in light of that, this huge private space is only $125pw, couples $175pw. I do have a portable A/C which could be loaned if desired. Despite the potential of about 1cm of water in the worst summer storm and no built in robe or A/C I almost claimed it for myself. In fact I still think about it. Both rooms are offered unfurnished, but we can offer some furnishings if needed. No smoking, inside or out. International travellers or students welcome. Short-term is okay, but I'd like one of the rooms to be taken for 6 months or more.
