Heya guys. I'm looking for someone to replace me on the lease for this fantastic property (lease finishing mid december, renewal is a definite possibility if you like the house ❤️) as I'll be moving in with my partner. The house is fully air conditioned, is in a gated estate (super quiet and secure), only 5 minutes walk to the nearest train station and is a ten minute walk to the nearest supermarket (a really big coles, I'm gonna miss it heaps). I'm an avid walker and have found a lot of lovely reserves within about 20 minutes walk from the house too (Banks Street Reserve is the biggest and loveliest!) There is also an indoor cat who live here who is very quiet and shy and usually keeps to one room in the house (owners bedroom). Furnishing for the bedroom is up to you. I have a double bed that I would be more than happy to sell that is unused and is in the garage space downstairs (I sleep on a futon, not a bed), as well as two bedside tables that match the bed. Looking for someone to take over my lease around July/August. I would be accepting to a range of time, depending on your needs. The property has unlimited internet which is really neat, the communal areas have some couches etc, but mostly everyone just chills in their rooms. There's a little veranda upstairs which is occasionally used to sit around and get some fresh air. The room itself is a pretty large, long room, so it's good for splitting up into areas; bed area and desk/office area. Room is furnished with bed, closet, two sets of drawers, large desk and office chair. Both outside walls are fully windowed and the room can be opened up to the air to keep fresh. Nice apartment and so close to the Newmarket shopping centre. 10 mins to the valley and city. Rents $400 a week so I’m pretty happy to go 50/50 in that and all other bills. The apartment does have aircon and unlimited internet. Gym access 150m away and public pool 400m away.
The house is a large two storey house with plenty of room for entertainment and quiet retreats. And for those who cannot handle the heat, we also thankfully have ducted air-con throughout :). P.s brownie points if you have a fridge to add to the house!

Hello! We have 1 room available in our house at Newmarket. Location: We are right at the top of the hill looking out into the city. The house backs on to the Bank Street Reserve and is on a nice quiet street with lots of on street parking. There is a carport though which we share! Walking distance to trains and buses to the city, and the Newmarket Cinemas, Coles, Market Organics, Pepe's, Sushi Edo and the cool Terry White Chemist with all the veg stuff. The Room: The room is a good medium size, room for a desk and a bed, with a ceiling fan, and screens on the windows. There is no wardrobe but comes with a clothes rack if you need. The house: It is a really beautiful little home with new polished timber floors, a lovely big kitchen, open eating and living areas and shared bathroom and toilet. There is a massive under the house storage area with a washing machine and dryer and a hills hoist outside. There is air con in the main area, but given there are fans throughout and it's so breezy we haven't used it too often. Bills are all split evenly. Internet is $20 a month and is very quick. The gas, water and electricity is quarterly but is pretty cheap. I also have two cats (Mimi and Mushu), so you would need to be happy with them. They are very silly and affectionate but are also pretty old so spend most of their time sleeping on my bed.
