The apartment is about a year old and we are the first original tenant's in the whole complex, it's a great area with Coles in a 10 minute walking range or basically a 2 minute drive down the road. The neighbors are also good & we never really ever see anyone or have any problems with other residents in the Complex. The Train station is also walking distance but don't be alarmed not close enough to hear it or to notice its only down the road (Trust me, we thought the exact same thing) A/C in the lounge room that also cools down the kitchen and at times the 3rd bedroom when everything is shut up but there is a ceiling fan and a big enough window to allow air to be circulated. Bills are also evenly split between everyone.

Hey room hunters – we have a great room that’s becoming available on Sunday 3 September. We live smack bang in the middle of Newmarket. The property is across the road from Newmarket Shopping Centre – literally a one minute walk and you’ve got Sushi Edo, Grill’d, Nandos, Homeslice, Coles, not one but TWO bottle shops, a bakery, a doctors, a physio (comes in handy!), a pharmacy and essentially every human need can be fulfilled with the shops there. The house also falls within a great Uber Eats area and you can order pretty much anything you feel like (hellllo bao from Kwan Brothers). There is now also a cinema being built and nearing completion. In terms of location, we’re a quick drive away from the city and its surrounds – an Uber home averages around $12 (without surge pricing). There’s also a bus stop just around the corner on Enoggera Road from the house that will take you to the city and QUT Kelvin Grove pretty much every five minutes. The room itself is super large for the $109.50 price tag. It can comfortably fit a queen bed and extra furniture. It also has a small shared balcony with one other tenant. The bathroom is also large (and has a window which should never be underappreciated). You would share the bathroom with two girls however there is an extra toilet downstairs. The kitchen is great and supplied with all cooking utensils etc. We have a fridge AND a separate freezer. Parking is on the street but for the most part there are no issues getting a space. We’re looking for someone to replace our current housemate on the lease, which renews end of February 2018. The agency has always been good about renewing the lease (it’s currently on its 4th renewal, I think?!) and that would most likely be the plan for next year. It's wilston, easy access 10 the city, train is about 10mins walk 6ish minutes ride to the city. bus stop within a minute walk and 10min to the city coffee shops galour, multiple eateries within a couple hundred meters, noho bar and grill, coffee club, cafe 63 to name a couple. Best thai Ive had too. nice area, accidently left my work van unlocked on a few occasions and noone has touched it powerbills are around the 300ish mark quarterly which is split 3 ways, also internet 50 a month also split so other than rent looking at about 120is a month for power and internet all rooms and lounge area have aircon Bedroom has sliding door onto front deck, i currently still have stuff there as im still paying rent so kinda using it as storage for now but will be removed and room cleaned before you move in. pics of room i snapped while i was there picking some stuff up, others are photos i found as im never there and busy so havent had a chance to take proper photos
