Fully Furnished apartment as the downstairs part of traditional Triple Gable Bardon house. I am a 38yr old, single professional male. I live upstairs with my three kids who are with me half the time. The flat is beautifully renovated, with quality finishes throughout like hardwood floors and marble bench tops. There are two modest sized bedrooms with good sized built in cupboards. One bedroom has a queen sized bed (I can supply the linen), and draws, the other has a large desk. The furnishing has changed a little since these photos above. There is a small kitchenette with fridge, convection microwave, induction hot plates and small appliances. All crockery and cookware already in place. The bathroom is a good size with large shower, lots of storage, and a front load washing machine. The living room has a three seat sofa and armchair, dining table for two and a 40" Sony TV. Bardon is a beautiful suburb, well connected to the city with regular bus services. It's only $13 Uber to the CBD, so it's a great location for a night out. We have a large park within 250m, great running tracks along the creek and a cool cafe over the road. Would suit someone who is looking for a beautiful secure home close to the city. I have a strong preference for a normal person. You know; no crazy parties, no weird behaviour. Over the last four years I have had the good fortune to have a wonderful international student and then a professional woman. My ideal tenant would be long term, educated, interesting and easy to get along with. Might suit a uni student from the country, international student, single working person. I'm open to pets, but I have high expectations of behaviour. I wouldn't allow a loud or destructive dog . The downsides. The living room of the granny flat is partially overlooked by the upstairs entrance hall. Security is good, but the privacy of the living space isn't perfect. When I built it, I did a lot of work to minimise sound from upstairs with specialised insulation and more, but you would still know when I am home. All bills including high-speed cable internet included. Possible upsides: If you are new to Brisbane the kids and I would be happy to show you around our favourite places and help you get settled.

Our house is unfortunately disbanding with 5 months left on the lease. Its a big beautiful house, 3 bed 1 bath, on Latrobe Terrace. Rent is $550/wk with bills included. All rooms fit queen beds and wardrobes comfortably and the main bedroom has built ins. The city glider stops about 50m down the road on both sides and its within walking distances to plenty of cafes, restaurants, bottle shops and Woolworth's. Move in date can be flexible. We are looking for someone to take over the whole house ideally in the next month but would be open to renting out the rooms individually. If anyone is looking to give Paddington a test drive, this house is perfect.
I have a large room with a walk in robe for rent in a two bedroom Queenslander in Paddington. There is a third bedroom in the house but three people would get a bit cramped. I keep a spare bed in there for visitors, which are always welcome. The house has lots of internal and external living area and plenty of storage. It's in an elevated position with great views and good breeze. Its a minute or two's walk to the Antique Centre and Paddington Central so there are nice cafe's and plenty going on.

We are about 50 metres from the bus stop and it's a quick 10 minute bus ride into the city. Sharing with one 37 year old female and one 28 year old female. Plus two elderly dogs who are inside/outside dogs and love company. We are both relaxed, love a chat and also love our own space. It is a peaceful and relaxed living environment with lots of space to chill and a comfortable vibe. Looking for somebody who is clean, friendly and can pay bills/rent on time. We split bills as they come in and they are pretty cheap each quarter. We have cable internet and Netflix. On-street parking.
