The property is a beautiful home with lots of open space, located in a great position that is close to the city and super close to public transport. Looking out off the back deck you will see lots of nature, looking over a small creek with a private forest feel, right in the heart of Brisbane. So if you love the outdoors and nature you will feel right at home here, especially relaxing in the heated spa it feels a world away. We do have a small dog, loving him is mandatory so if you aren't a dog person it might not be the house for you :) We have 2 rooms we are looking to either rent separately OR rent out the entire lower floor to someone who wants lots of space, so great for a couple. You would have the 2 bedrooms so can have a guest room or study. We are happy to rent the entire space for just $450/week including bills if you want the area to yourself. The rooms are not furnished, I have used some photos from when we bought the house for illustration but have also included some of our own photos with no furniture to show the vacant space. The living area is also not furnished so ideally, you would also have your own living room furniture but we can work around this for the right applicant. The only slight downside is that the Main bedroom downstairs doesn't have much of a view as the window looks into a storage area, but with the plantation shutters closed you won't even notice. The second smaller bedroom looks out into the garden, as do all of the other windows and your own little deck area. Not a party house, but we are easy going and do occasionally like to entertain and are ok with the same. Bills are included in the rent including Electricity, water, gardening/yard maintenance and unlimited high-speed internet.
The house is a decent size with a big backyard. Everything you need including shops and the 61 bus is within walking distance and there’s some beautiful walking routes around here should you enjoy getting out for a walk/run. Extra perks for being serenaded by harp ;)
We have ducted air conditioning in every room of the house and Netflix and Stan on the TV in the upstairs living room. There’s bus to the city which leaves from right outside the house or it’s a 10 min drive ($13 Uber). The downstairs living area is not currently furnished and you’re free to do so if you’d like to make that your space :) All other living spaces are fully furnished now, the pictures on the profile are from before we moved in. The house backs out on to a large, beautiful park. The kitchen is fully stocked with cutlery, crockery and every piece of equipment inbetween (toastie maker, nutribullet, spiraliser)! I'm looking for one person to join me in my 3 bedroom house in leafy Bardon. It's conveniently located on Coopers Camp Rd - close to bus stops, bike paths, Mt Cootha trails, cafes, restaurants, shops, etc. It's 5km from the city. The house has three bedrooms but only one bathroom. Therefore there will be plenty of space and storage for two of us. There is a large deck with great views of Mt Cootha. The house is the highest on the street so it is really light, breezy and has good privacy. You can choose between two rooms: one has corner windows and new carpet; the other is slightly bigger with polished timber floors. The kitchen is well-equipped. You'll only need to bring your bedroom furniture but happy to store other furniture under the house if need be. - Rent is $225 per week plus share of gas & electricity (which is usually really low because there is solar) - Can be flexible with length of stay and move in date - Internet can be arranged
