It has floorboards and blinds and can be furnished or unfurnished. The house has been renovated and had a great little bathroom and kitchen and a sunny courtyard with drying line. It also has attic storage. The house has all you could need except a TV but you're welcome to bring your own or I can get one. It is located a 1 min walk from Darling Street and 2 mins from the bus to the city. It's also around a 10 min walk to the ferry to Circular Quay.

I've just scored a lease on a semi-detached house at the Anzac Bridge end of Rozelle. The lease starts on 7th December, **so the pics are of my current place** to give you an idea of what the place will look like. It's an older, character-filled home with a separate lounge and kitchen, a private courtyard and an internal laundry. It's split level, with only my bedroom upstairs, so we wouldn't be living on top of each other. I'm happy to consider couples, but the rent would then be $325 (plus bills split three ways). It's a short walk to Darling Street and close to the shops and cafes of Rozelle and Balmain. It's less than ten minutes by bus to the city. The room is a good medium size that will easily fit in a queen size bed and other furniture. Your room is unfurnished, but otherwise I have pretty much all the necessary furniture (except a TV), but if you have stuff to contribute I'm sure we can work something out. Hi There! We've recently moved to the Lower North Shore suburb of Woolwich. Where is Woolwich? Good question, I had no idea about this suburb until I found this flat! Woolwich is located 11 kilometres north-west of the Sydney CBD. It take 25 minutes to reach Circular Quay via Ferry (amazing views of the Harbour on your way in!) and about 40 minutes via bus. Woolwich has a really nice village-y feel to it, there are a few cafe's and an award winning pub with some of the best views of the city skyline. It's very leafy and has great harbour walks. I'm thinking about getting a paddle board for the summer as there is a boat launch at the bottom of the street! I'm loving this area, after living in Sydney from Bondi to Leichardt, Woolwich is by far the most chilled out and underrated suburb. If you want to feel like your living on an island sanctuary but still close to city this is the place! It's a 2 bed/2 bath split-level with the rooms downstairs, which is super handy when you or I have people over. You've your own bathroom and room, and the latter can come furnished if you want. Note it'll be a double bed with your average IKEA wooden bed frame if you want it furnished so if you err on the side of bigger, you might want to BYO. A king will fit, but I'd seriously be questioning why you need a bed of that size as a single person. The bed in the pic is a queen. I've been here just over a year and have never had any issues. We had one minor kitchen sink leak in the beginning that was resolved within 24 hours, and the building manager is extremely reliable. In terms of communal furnishings, I think I've basically everything you could possibly ever need in an apt from a double blow-up mattress to a crockpot but if you have stuff you want to bring, I'm happy to make room. A car park is available, but I rent it out to reduce our overall price. If you want to bring a car, you can tack on another $50 a week to the price listed. Sauna, gym and pool are part of the property, and water is included in the rent. An AC/heat unit is available upstairs and although downstairs stays relatively stable in terms of temperature all throughout the year, we both have heaters and fans just in case. My current flatmate and I each tack on $30 a week extra to the rent to accommodate household goods e.g. toilet paper, internet and electricity, which is transferred into our 'joint' account that we both dip into when we throw house parties and the like. Happy to sort out another arrangement for this stuff if you want, though :)

So if we're not cooking up a BBQ or chilling at home, this makes for awesome days out together as a group of housemates and is included for FREE.
