There are bus stops just a few steps from our place which take you to Box Hill Central and from there you can catch public transport to anywhere else. No parking available. If I'm honest we have a pretty awesome kitchen and living space, but apart from that we are really down to earth and love the shared living space. We are friends, male and female, not a couple, who are looking for someone to share our lovely 3 bedroom house in Blackburn. It’s a 2 min walk to Laburnum train station, (between Box Hill and Blackburn stations). Short walk to great cafe/s shops supermarket and quick train ride to Box Hill (next stop). Not far by car or train to the hills and city. Great spot! Probably best for a working single person and probably best for a female cause they’re usually less messy ☺ You get an off street, but not under cover, cars park, high speed internet ($73.45 monthly split 3 ways), open fire and reverse cycle heating/cooling in living area. Heaters in each room and bathroom. Bathroom is small but works well with large bath and separate shower. 2 toilets separate from bathroom at either end of the house. The house is furnished cottage/bohemian style and the available bedroom is large, with large windows, a leafy green outlook, a built in wardrobe and a very comfortable bed if you want it.
