There's air con in the lounge, internet is already set up, and I'm happy to get a faster/better internet deal if you're happy for us to pay a little extra, a washing machine in the bathroom, there's a nice view from the balconies, already have lounge pretty much furnished but happy to swap out for better couches at any point :P My housemate is mostly moved out already but the room for rent is the bigger of the two bedrooms, I have the smaller one, should be able to fit a double bed and a desk or couch or whatever, I've included a picture of the view from the room window as well. The nearby area is pretty green, plenty of grass and flowers. It's only a short walk up a straight street to get to shops and public transport. I've been pretty happy here so far. :) If you happen to be a smoker, smoking outside is okay. If you have a pet, we just need to talk to the owner about it and get permission. A couple who can split bills 3 ways with me is preferred :)

I'm sitting at the kitchen table now and we really should take more advantage of the dining area and have meals together or something because it really is kind of sweet. That being said, we all do our own thing, cook for ourselves, etc. The house is just off Station street; there's a milk bar and a bottle-o around the corner, and just at the end of our street you can catch a bus that will get you to Box Hill Centro in 7 minutes. (You're about a 25 minute train ride away from the city, and Box Hill is often on the express line). Along Station st there's also an Aldi and a service station. In the opposite direction, there's Deakin University which is also very easy to get to from here.
