This flat comes with sorts of advantages. For location, this flat is very close to Canberra centre. It takes only 2-3 mins to get to Canberra centre on foot. Moreover, there are so many restaurants in this area including local restaurants and Chinese restaurants, and Korean restaurants, etc. It is also convenient for ANU students to commute from this flat to ANU by walking for 10 mins. For safety and ambience, the neighbors of this neighborhood are friendly and nice. In addition, there are few noises during night. Therefore, the residents are seldom bothered and disturbed. As for furniture, some furniture are provided, including washing machine, heater, blanket, microwave oven, fridge, hot water kettle, other appliances, etc. By the way, there is a swimming pool for the residents
We’re 5 minutes from Lonsdale St and the perfect distance from Frugii (we literally finish our cones as we approach the gate). The place is fully furnished (apart from the spare room) but has room for some extra furniture if you had it. The flat is on the top floor and overlooks the communal pool, black mountain and mt ainslie. There’s a decent sized balcony. The toilet is seperate to the main bathroom which has a bath/shower. The kitchen is huge and features a wine fridge. There’s a ceiling fan in the living room and if that doesn’t get you cool enough we have a reverse cycle air conditioner too. Also I’m probably going to get a dog next year so you’d have to be cool with that 😊
This is a modern apartment building on the best street in Canberra. It has everything you could want -- dishwasher, laundry, balcony, elevator, heating and cooling, TV, internet, good insulation. Your bedroom has two giant windows, built in robes, and your own bathroom. It's an easy place to live, and very convenient for the city. We're on the fourth floor so there are nice views, and we get very little noise from Lonsdale Street. Supermarkets are a 5 minute walk away. Great coffee and food is on your doorstep, and Mt Ainslie is only a 20 minute walk from here. The photos here are from before we moved in, don't worry, the place has a bit more character and homeliness to it now. We even have some plants. I'm moving out as I'm heading back to Melbourne. I'm flexible on moving date -- I could move anytime from Saturday, November 9 to Saturday November 16.
