And a small courtyard for BBQS.

Well, Lily the staffie and Ruby the cat are pretty special, and they come with Anne, who works part time and studies online part time. You will have to love them. Travis, just moved from Adelaide is also in residence. He works full time and he's just started full time study. Needless to say he's not around much. The house has reverse cycle air air conditioning and is light and bright as you can see in the photos. We are a few minutes walk from Beaumont Street, boutiques, cafes and restaurants hub, and 20 minutes walk from Darby Street, same deal. If you're still on foot we're 20 minutes from The Junction and 20 minutes from Newcastle's beautiful beaches. The location is quiet and safe with plenty of trees and bird life. We're with Optus so we have Fetch TV and Netflix rather than Foxtel. We also have a barbecue and two courtyards. Rent includes everything down to the toilet paper, and two lovely cleaning ladies who come once a fortnight to keep us on track. We have a lovely large old home in a great location. Quiet street with great neighbors, 5 mins drive to Merewether beach (or 15 by pushy). 20 min walk to Hamilton station (10 on pushy). Can walk home from the city after a night out (ok, its a long walk.. but can do it) High ceilings, lots of living spaces, big kitchen. Nice covered back deck plus grassy backyard. Room is a good size, Our old housemate had a queen bed plus large desk and normal bedroom stuff (clothes etc) in there comfortably. He's still cleaning out his stuff, so we will get a photo of the room up soon.. photos of lounge etc up now. The house also has kinda 3 living rooms, so you will also be able to have extra stuff stored in one of them as long as it is neat and tidy (ie, in furnisher or suitcases). Ok, so the house is a bit rough around the edges.. ie carpet / paint is old. Bathroom is old and a bit random. But if your like us and care more about lifestyle than the fancy trimmings you'll look past that and enjoy cheap rent in this awesome spot.
This house is a prime location. Less than a 5min walk from Beaumont St and only a 2 min walk to Hamilton train station. Ideal if your studying at UON or don't have a car.
