Our place is fifteen minutes from Hobart CBD, one minute from the local store and five minutes from the nearest shopping plaza (chemist, woolies, petrol, post office, food outlets etc.) In our lounge we have Netflix, a PS4 Pro, Apple TV, Foxtel and a new shiny QLED TV for you to take advantage of. (Furniture in the photos are previous owners.) There is dedicated off-street parking right in front of our house that no one uses and a bus stop at the end of our street. There are plenty of dog/nature walks too in the area that are by the beach and in the bush, great for if you have a pet like us.

The property is light, bright and airy. Situated in Lutana; the place is a mere 10 minute drive to the CBD, and close to shops, public transport and scenic parks. The room for rent comes furnished, however if you have your own furniture then we could arrange something out. The room features built-ins, a desk, along with new carpets and loads of natural light throughout. The bathroom is small, however the toilet is separate. I feel the place is a perfect size for two people, with ample living space, and a separate kitchen and dining. There is a large backyard to enjoy, with views of the mountain highly prevalent. Off-street parking can be shared, however on-street parking is easily accessible. There is a wood fire; as well as a reverse-cycle heat pump. As this is my property, I am looking for someone who is going to be clean, tidy, reliable and respectful of my things. I sometimes go away for work for days at a time, so I need to know that I can trust you to care for my property as if it were your own. Whilst I enjoy the odd wine, I don’t particularly want to host parties and gatherings when I have work the next day. I want to be able to establish an honest co-tenancy relationship where we can be comfortable to have those chats about cleanliness, energy usage or requests about guests without having to feel awkward! (Also a TV with Netflix if you ever get sick of looking at the view, or maybe for when it's dark out, whatever...) The three bedrooms are downstairs, along with a seperate dining room with a massive table, good sized kitchen, bathroom, storage space and a lovely garden and a veggie patch. (All the homegrown tomatoes, chillies, herbs etc you could ever want!) The room is unfurnished but it's a good size and has a lovely timber floor. It's timber floors throughout actually so yay, no carpets! What else? What else do you need? A BBQ and wood heater? Got them too. The house is really conveniently located - it's 10 mins walk to the city, 40 mins to the uni and 2 mins to a corner shop and fab pizza restaurant.
