Unfortunately my housemates have had a change in their circumstances so I am on the hunt for a new couple to share my funky little Fitzroy home with. The location is unbeatable, right between Smith and Brunswick streets, on the Gertrude street end. You can see Smith st Coles from the front stairs. It’s a dream. The house is completely furnished and has everything you need, including a washer that also dries. Pretty cooooool. The room is large and unfurnished and has beautiful wooden floorboards and a beautiful fireplace with shelves that can be moved around to make different configurations or to not have them at all. There’s a cute little courtyard out the back with chairs for hanging out and fairy lights for night time. I don’t have any issues with smokers outside as long as they pick up their butts. The backyard backs onto dead end alley way that I’m excited to hang out in when the weather gets warm again. The location is truly great, the surrounding suburban streets are stunning and all of the Fitzroy/Collingwood nightlife is right there but without any of the noise. There's a spare off street parking permit if required. The 86 tram stops quite literally at the front door and the 11 tram is just a few streets over as well. Bedrooms are great sized. and the house has a cosy, retro feel. I love living here.
