Hey!
My current flatmate is moving in with his partner, so I’m looking for someone to take over his room. Please find all the details below:
THE APARTMENT
• Two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment with rooms positioned at opposite corners for privacy
• Massive balcony with city views, comfortably accommodating up to 15 people
• Fully furnished common areas; you’ll need to furnish your bedroom and desk/computer setup
• Building facilities include a pool, gym, and sauna
• One car park included (currently used by me)
YOUR ROOM
• Approx. 3.0m x 2.8m (excluding the built-in wardrobe)
• Fits a queen-size bed with side tables comfortably
• Dedicated bathroom with bathtub and washer & dryer
• Semi-private desk/computer area, ideal for working from home
THE AREA
• Tram routes 12 & 109 stop directly outside the building
• Victoria Gardens Shopping Centre, 8–10 minute walk
• IGA located in the building for everyday essentials
• Badminton court in the next building
• Plenty of gyms, cafés, restaurants, and bars along Victoria Street
RENT & BILLS
• Rent: $335 per week (approx. $1,455 per month)
• Utilities (electricity, water, internet): approx. $120–$140 per person per month
• Rent and Bills are split equally
• Rent and all bills are settled by the 5th of each month
• I arrange a professional deep cleaner every 2 months, costing approx. $90–$100 per person
LEASE & MOVE-IN
• Available from 14 February (flexible by a couple of days earlier)
• You’ll need to be added to the lease
• 12-month lease term
• Real estate agent will require proof of income and references from your workplace (manager) and previous real estate agents
ABOUT YOU
• Preferably male, mid to late 20s
• Takes house chores and general life admin seriously
• Social and up for hanging out, but respectful of personal and shared spaces
• Comfortable with an organised home and shared responsibilities
• You don’t need to be a smoker, but should be okay with me smoking on the balcony only; must be 420 friendly
• Happy for you to have a partner or friend stay over once or twice a week
• Desk/computer setup suits someone who works from home or spends time on their setup (previous housemate was a semi-professional gamer)
• Doesn’t own a car
OTHER NOTES
• If you have any additional furniture you’d like to bring for shared spaces, just let me know — I’m always open to upgrading the place.
• I’m planning to upgrade the outdoor balcony furniture (estimated cost around $800) and would prefer to split the cost with the new housemate.

• Enjoy hosting pre-drinks, kick-ons, and occasional get-togethers with friends and family, making good use of the balcony
