Hi! We have one room available now in a three-bedroomed furnished share-house. Very close (two minutes walk) to Coorparoo train station, two major bus routes and a safe bike route to the City. You will be sharing with a 20 year old male apprentice builder and a 20 year old male student – both friendly and easy-going. So we are looking for someone in their early 20’s to join us as the third person in the house. The house is an older Queenslander, basic but with a nice energy, fully furnished, with one room currently available for an ongoing tenancy. Your room has a built-in wardrobe, and a cooling ceiling fan. It is currently unfurnished, so you need to bring your own bed. Please note that though the room is a reasonable size, it is not really large enough for a queen-size bed (double is OK - photo on this site is of the room with double bed). Rent of $175 per week is all inclusive of gas and electricity and also includes wireless broadband. A bond of $350 and two weeks advance rent, a total of $700, is required on entry. There is no fixed term lease, but we are looking for someone long-term. The house is fully furnished with a nice kitchen, tiled bathroom, air-conditioned lounge, front sunroom and small back porch, and a large backyard. The washing machine and dryer are downstairs, and there is plenty of downstairs storage space. Sorry, but pets are not allowed. Easy street parking is available if you have a car. Hey I have two rooms available in a three bedroom townhouse. The townhouse it self is furnished however the rooms aren't. One room has a fan and built in robe and the other room has a built in robe. Both rooms fit a queen bed with bedside table/s. You would share the main bathroom with one other person. If you are lucky you can snatch one of the visitor car parks which is off street. There is public transport close by as well as supermarkets and cafes/restaurants. Bills aren't included in rent. The lease finishes in September and the rooms will be available as soon as the current housemates move out. You would have to go on the lease due to the real estate rules. However bond isn't necessary as that is paid in full.

The house is a 3-bedroom, 1 bathroom renovated Queenslander based off Old Cleveland Rd, 10min walk to Langlands Busway as well as to many shops in the area like Coles, IGA and NightOwl. It has a (currently empty) car port, and an enormous back yard that's good for parties, which we do have from time to time. Smoking is ok as long as it respects the house but we have not been approved to take pets. We have 6 months left on the lease, and expect to renew it for another year afterward. Our preference is a full-time working or studying, easy-going person that's down to hang out and have a chat, while being respectful of personal space. My unit is freshly renovated by yours truly (and a couple of tradies). Every bit of wall and ceiling has been freshly painted, replaced the carpet with floorboards, so only the bedrooms have new carpet. We have three different balconies - one connected to the living room with a view of the Story Bridge, one in the main bedroom and one at the back - overlooking our terrace on the bottom floor. There is a garage down stairs, which fits one car. It can fit two - and by two, I mean two Smart Cars. Good luck. A really central place - about 5/10 min walk to the Coorparoo train station and 2 min walk to any eatery/grocery store/bottle shop. The street itself is pretty quiet - we have some construction going on down the road, but the apartment block is nearly finished (they're putting a cinema and some shops underneath it, so that's not too bad). House rules are pretty normal and simple. Be respectful to everyone living here (and in the small complex), clean up after yourself and be open to listening to some vinyl and having a cold beverage on a Friday afternoon after work.
