We’re looking for a lovely new housemate to join our calm and friendly home. The atmosphere here is relaxed and welcoming — everyone works full time and values a clean, comfortable space to unwind after busy days.

We’re in our late 20s to 30s and have built a great balance between respecting each other’s space and enjoying the occasional BBQ, house trip, or balcony chat. Life gets busy, but communication and responsibility keep our home peaceful and easy.

Cleanliness is a shared priority, we each take turns with a rotating cleaning roster every five weeks and keep shared areas tidy. It’s non-negotiable but makes the space genuinely enjoyable to live in.

We’re looking for someone who fits this rhythm: responsible, tidy, communicative, and ideally planning to stay long term. Shift work doesn’t quite suit the house since some of us wake early, so we prefer full-time workers or students. Due to our calm vibe we prefer no WFH.

We also share the house with two adorable foster cats — they’re part of the family and bring a lot of warmth to the space, so an animal lover is a must (but no new pets, sorry).

The house itself has a calm, relaxing energy with beautiful wooden floors, natural light, and thoughtful touches that make it feel like a true home.

About the House:
– Two levels: three bedrooms upstairs, two downstairs
– Two bathrooms, a spacious kitchen, dining room, and living areas
– Front and back balconies perfect for morning coffee or winding down
– Plenty of street parking
– Solar powered and well kept

About the Room:
– Spacious and bright, unfurnished room (sorry no room aircon yet)
– $260 per week
– Water included, free internet
– Electricity and gas shared (around $10–15 per week)
– Bond: 4 weeks’ rent

The location is excellent, just a short walk to Coorparoo Square (ALDI, Coles, Woolworths, cafés, and restaurants), bus stops, and Coorparoo train station.
