A 2-minute walk from Ferny Grove train station and I don't have a car so the garage is free to use and also comes with a remote. I pay for a cleaner once a fortnight so minimal cleaning required.
Beautiful well maintained large house on a big section. Really leafy and calming area with lots of space and in a super safe and friendly neighbourhood. The bedroom for rent has air-con. The rest of the entire house is furnished. There are two living areas and a dining area. The entire downstairs is living/kitchen/laundry, and upstairs are all the bedrooms and bathrooms. It's a massive space and my housemate and I live a very chilled, laidback and relaxed lifestyle here. There is a reasonably large kitchen, with all kitchen equipment provided. The house has a master and ensuite (which I am in), plus a main bathroom (which would be yours to use and clean, sharing with 1 other tidy female). It also has 3 toilets, and indoor laundry. There is a large garden, and a vege patch. I also have a cat, Frankie, that is an indoor/outdoor cat, and very friendly! The house is close to mountain biking tracks, cycling tracks, tennis courts, walking tracks and bushland. The train station is a 20 minute walk or a 5 minute drive, There is also a supermarket, pharmacy, gym, and a few takeaway/cafes close by.

We are looking to rent out up to 3 bedrooms which will be mostly unfurnished. There will be one desk and one single bed available if needed. Perfect opportunity if you are needing a room and a home office, if you're a single parent, or if you just need a place in this part of town! Current occupants are quiet and neat; an author and an IT professional. We tend to use our computers as our entertainment source so the living room will be yours most of the time. 2 rooms are the same size with large built-in wardrobes and fit single/queen size beds comfortably and one has had a king size bed in it previously. The 3rd room is slightly smaller with built-in wardrobe and would be great for a single bed scenario or home office. Rent includes electricity and internet, internet is foxtel cable ~40mbps and soon to be moved to NBN 100mbps plan. We never have any problems with everyone streaming media at the same time. On street parking only, it is a very quiet street and you'll never have a problem parking infront of the house. There is a bus stop around 300 metres from the house which runs between The Gap and Brookside via Keperra station. In regards to pets, there will be a super friendly cat living here and my fish tanks. We have approval for 3 cats so we can talk about bringing your pets in as well. I live in a quiet townhouse complex of about 12, in a lovely leafy environment close to shops, transport and Kedron Brook path. The townhouse has: * 3 bedrooms * 1 bathroom * laundry in the garage with front loader washing machine * Fully furnished with vintage and modern furniture * ceiling fan in lounge * big open plan kitchen and dining leading on to a large deck and garden * dishwasher * electric oven and stove top I have everything that you require and unfortunately there is no extra room for more furniture or things in the lounge or kitchen etc. (you may be able to fit some extra furniture into your bedroom such as a tallboy or office desk). The deck is uncovered with a table setting to chill out in and have a BBQ and drinks at the end of the day or on weekend. I have two friendly cats who come and go as they please!! Indoors at night. You will need to like cats to live here! No other pets can be accommodated. Please note: I rent though an agent and they would need refs/landlord approval prior to moving in. I will remain the only person on the lease. I live close to the local shopping centre which is within walking distance. It has a Kmart, Coles and Aldi and a few coffee shops and the like. Brookside shopping centre is within driving distance. The townhouse is on a quiet street with a leafy outlook and close to Kedron Brook path. I live in close proximity with people in the other townhouses and I would consider myself and the neighbours respectful of each others space.
