We are a 35yr old married Christian couple living upstairs in a boutique style home set amongst green rainforest like area surprisingly close to Brisbane city.

Our home is not suitable for any animals or children, sorry. We are open to a couple moving in, or a single applicant. This home is a smoke and drug free abode. Please do not apply if you are a smoker. Needing a likeminded individual to move in downstairs and rent out our downstairs unit.

We have set up the house to be dual living, with upstairs and downstairs like 2 separate homes in themselves. Upon moving in will get your own massive 5m by 7m combined bedroom/living room, your own bathroom and kitchen, and your own private garden outdoor area. You room will have lockable doors and a brand new Aircon, all to yourself, with all bills included and super fast unlimited internet.

We have set the massive carpeted living/bedroom area with a large leather lounge in electric recliner couch, 2 coffee tables, office desk and chair, a double bed (not in pictures but bed had been upgraded), 2 bedside tables, 2 tallboys, a hanging wardrobe and a dining room table with 2 chairs. You will also have sole access to our in home theatre set up with a top class projector and massive 3.5m by 2m electric movie screen that covers one large wall (that can wind down or up at the press of a button) and an amazing surround sound system.

There is a downstairs garden that will be all yours, with a bamboo and brick tiled run that is gated off, to enjoy outside but still be private. In the outdoor area there is a large hanging clothes rack, an outdoor table with 2 chairs, and a shoe rack.

The kitchen comes fully furnished with everything you need to cook up a feast, with a large fridge, freezer, microwave, stove top, griller, oven, double sink, kettle, toaster, pie maker, rice cooker, all cutlery, plates, cups, glasses, utensils and cookware included. You will have heaps of shelving and a Pantry available to use, as well as a large storage area in a seperate room off the kitchen too, exclusively for you to use.

The bathroom comes with a large shower, toliet, large mirror, sink, scales, and storage shelves.

The unit is set up for you to be able to just bring your own personal items and move on in. If you have your own funiture and want to use that instead, just ask us.

The home has a tropical like back and front yard, and is very secure - it is fully fenced and set up with a full security system with security cameras.

The closest train station is Ferny Grove and it is only 800 meters away if you are without your own car. Trains leave numerous times every hour and it is only 28 mins to Central or 20 mins to Bowen Hills in Brisbane City. The bus stop is only one street away (700m) and will take you anywhere you want in Brisbane.

If you do have a car, you can park on the street, or off street in the driveway, no worries. Undercover/garage parking is not an option sorry.

The neighborhood here is ideal - peaceful, quiet, no parties or loud noise ever - a serene 'hidden hills' escape, with Samford Conservation park only a few mins walk from the front door and a plethora of various other mountains and nature reserves only a few mins drive from home. Mount Glorious, Samford Valley, D'Aguilar National Park - All of these and more are only a short trip away. 900 meters up the road is the local Ferny Grove shopping center with a Coles, Chemist, Bulk Billing Doctors, Gym, Cafe, Dominoes, and more! Keperra, Arana Hills and Brookside are the closest large shopping centers, which have every other store one would need - they are all less then 10 mins drive from home.

You will be the only person (or couple) living downstairs, so that privacy and space is assured. The only thing to bring us downstairs will be to do the laundry which is in your kitchen area, where our washing machine will be available for your use, as well as a clothes dryer if needed.
