The recently built studio is self-contained with bedroom/living area, en-suite and separate kitchen and eating area. It has built in wardrobes, study nook, en suite with toilet and shower, underfloor heating and air conditioning. The kitchen has a fridge, electric oven, gas stove top and plenty of clean cupboards. It opens onto its own terrace and the shared family garden and BBQ areas. Our family home has always been home to a range of rescue dogs and cats. We also have a few broody chickens who are occasionally let to roam in the main garden. You can expect to be greeted by our three dogs who share our house and garden,…. but not your studio. You are welcome to use the 3 terraces, lawn and pool area. Our garden attracts various native birds, and with its tropical feel and various habitat gardens and small ponds has local frogs and lizards. The pool is deep and long, great for swimming strokes but is not suitable for children. The pool and spa are both solar heated. Temperature will depend upon prevailing weather but is suitable for swimming spring through autumn. Our home is in the Bantry Bay enclave within Frenchs Forest, and is situated 20 minutes to the north of the Harbour Bridge in a generally quiet, friendly, tree lined suburb with direct access to national parks and Manly Dam recreation reserve. We have some of Sydney’s best mountain bike trails accessible from our gate.

There is one bedroom available, bright with sunshine (facing east) and the 3rd bedroom is a study/storage only. There is one toilet which is separate to the bathroom. There are yards specially a nice green backyard with trees and plants (a quiet green retreat with many birds around), and a good bbq spot. Car parking spots on Cook Street are usually plenty and safe. Location is great, short walking distance to buses (Forest Coaches) and Forestville Village (good range of shops including Coles, 2 gyms, a range of restaurants, hairdressers and a Council library). Looking for an employed person, honesty and reliability essential, no drugs. Female preferred, as they tend to be tidier (hopefully). References preferred please, nothing personal. I am looking for a respectful, tidy, clean and warm person to share our beautiful home. I would love someone that is looking for a place to call home for at least 6 months if possible but will consider shorter terms if the right person comes along. About the room . . . The room fits a double bed and desk. It has 3 doored wardrobe (mirrored), has quality carpet and white wooden blinds. It overlooks the neighbours green backyard. It has been my bedroom to date and I have very much enjoyed it. I'll tell you why I'm moving to another room when I see you ;-) If you like it can come furnished with a quality wooden framed double bed. You will need to provide your own sheets and bedspread. If you have your own bed that is fine too, we can remove the bed currently in there. About the rest of the house . . . There is plenty of space inside and out - with a back garden, a front garden and a large bathroom (including an awesome shower head and bath). The kitchen space has a large bench to cook up a storm with a large kitchen top breaking up the lounge room and kitchen - the open plan makes for a great layout to socialise whilst cooking. The home is semi-detached to the neighbours home who own the carport and driveway. There is plenty of free street parking for us to park. The neighbourhood is quiet and filled with bird life. There are a lot of families in the area and at the end of our street is the Manly Dam which has some great bush walks. There is a local supermarket 10 minutes walk from the home as well as a number of quality local cafes, chemist, post office, take-away fish and chips, Thai, Indian etc, a bakery, florist, beautician, hairdresser, physio, massage and more. Freshwater and Manly have a number of great health food cafes, beautiful clothing and houseware shops and Harris Farm Manly which has one of the best seafood markets and butcher attached to it. We are also 7 minutes drive or a short bus ride to Warringah Mall which has recently been renovated. We are 7 minutes drive to Freshwater beach and about the same to the centre of Manly.
