It’s a 5-minute drive to Kingston and Manuka ($6 Uber), 800m from Narrabundah Shops, 7 minutes to Fyshwick, 7 minutes to Russell Offices and Campbell Park, 10 minutes to the CBD and 13 minutes to Woden and Canberra Hospital. Your room is unfurnished with built in robes with full length mirrors, access to your own (separate) bathroom, which may very rarely be shared with visitors, and your own lockable garage with ample storage space. The living area, dining room and kitchen are quite large and spacious. There is also a study/ spare room that can be used for some additional storage, and for guests. The backyard is easy care, spacious and catches the sunlight for most of the day. The house is fairly well established, but I welcome your artistic flare…particularly if you have an outdoor setting. That would be a huge win :P Bills are not included in the price. Naked DSL internet is available at $35 per/month and bills (gas and electricity) come through quarterly (about 120 each per quarter) I have a dog, a 5 year-old Kelpie cross who loves cuddles! I’ve got a spare bedroom available in my prime-located modern apartment. The room at $240 and available on 18 March is the largest but with no cupboard space (don't worry, there are so many hidden storage areas you'll only need a wardrobe and chest of drawers for your clothes). The other room at $240 and available on 4 March is a little smaller but with heaps of cupboard space and a great view overlooking the front garden and bird feeder. TAKEN. The final room at $220 and available on 18 March is the smallest, but also the furthest from the communal areas with massive windows overlooking the side garden. Trust me when I say its the smallest that it is still larger than most bedrooms you'd find in an apartment! PARKING A tandem garage has space for one more car, while the car port to the side of the house and the shady front drive has room for another car each. We have had up to eight cars parked off the street at the house before, so parking will never be a problem.

The master bedroom is the room up for rent with its own bathroom (bedroom and seperate hallway entrance.) The bathroom will be yours but will drop the price if willing to share. Smokers are allowed, but cannot smoke in the house. Like stated before, rent is $225/wk but negotiable, however $225 will include your bills. Bills are paid quarterly and we have 2 outdoor dogs and a cat, so pets are considered.
Oaks Estate is a beautiful semi rural suburb on the outskirts of Canberra and Queanbeyan. We are on the edge of the Molongalo and Queanbeyan rivers, close to shops and pubs and an easy drive to Canberra. The house is a lovely, light filled, airy, spacious, 1960's Canberra double brick style. It is a fully furnished family home with a huge back yard with lots of large trees and veggie patch. The house works well and is very comfortable. It has a modern feel as well as many reto features including the original bathroom with it's lovely big bath. Although there is only one bathroom there are two toilets. The neighbourhood is quiet and safe and very friendly and the street is lovely with a small park, large gum trees and a great walk around the river. There is plenty of storage space for extra furniture if you want to bring some of your own and rearrange things. The room is a inclusive of all bills.
Hi, I have a fully furnished room (QS bed; cupboard) for one person that is AVAILABLE from 31 MARCH. The maximum people in the house will be two i.e. me and you - there are only two bedrooms. No couples please as it is too 'squeezy'. I do not want more furniture brought into the house - the house is fully furnished and well equipped. Because of this I am happy to have short-term shares i.e. you might be looking for somewhere more suitable that will take your furniture but you need to move out of where you are staying. For less than 4 weeks add another $10 a week to the weekly rent. More than 4 weeks we then work out the shared gas, electricity and water bills. The house is a RENOVATED WEATHERBOARD close to Queanbeyan CBD. There is a lovely garden and back deck. Gas heating and cooking and solar hot water (with a manual electric booster) and NBN limited wireless and 4G. There is off-street parking for two smaller cars and on-street parking is time unlimited. There is public transport a short walk to town (less than 10 minutes) and Queanbeyan railway station is a 15 minute (or 25 minutes with a heavy backpack!) walk. And if you work in Canberra city, there is a park-and-ride just across the border in Fyshwick. Or if you are into cycling there is bicycle path into Canberra that swings past the park-and-ride. You've got to be willing to do your bit in the garden - THIS IS ESSENTIAL! OR you will need to pay to have someone do your bit. Garden tasks are mostly sweeping the paths, deck, driveway and raking eucalyptus bark and leaves (once a week) and occasional mowing and cutting back hideously invasive ivy. Between two it is less than onerous. You must be a clean and tidy person to live with and actually know how to clean (you'd be suprised...!). I prefer a vegetarian household - i.e. I do not eat meat, fish or poultry - but if you do eat meat then you are welcome to cook meat on the gas bbq that is undercover just outside the kitchen door. No animals/pets sorry even though I occasionally have my kelpie come and stay. So you will have to like dogs. She is quiet and well trained. Please do not hesitate to give me a hoy if you are in any way interested. Any references would be helpful. And I really do not care whether you are a 'professional' or not - used alone, I find the term pretentious :-) I am much happier knowing about your interests :-) rather than how you earn a living (and yes, I know they could be one and the same...). I play indoor soccer, run and cycle (as a transport option rather than for fun) and like to keep fit. The house is pretty amazing, it feels like it's come off a set of Mad Men, it's a stupidly cool place to live. The house is fully furnished, has cork floors throughout, floor to ceiling windows around the whole back of the house that opens onto an entertaining deck and backyard, the house is filled with light and has beautiful timber panelling throughout. All bedrooms are all queen size, the bedroom has a bed and built in wardrobe, there is one room available it is the only room at this end of the house near loungeroom, it has a built-in cupboard with shelves and a cupboard outside room for hanging clothes also available, it overlooks back deck and the backyard. Room Available Mid March. We have 2 girl & 1 boys aged in mid 20's, and me in my early 40's I own a cafe in the city, we are looking for another housemate, we enjoy each others company, eat occasionally together, giggle a lot and respect each other's space. Our household is a fun one! There is also a baby in the household 12 weeks in Mid Feb, so you would need to be ok living with a small child (baby doesn't cry, very rare)
