The room is generously sized and the apartment is light and breeze filled. The flat has recently been renovated with new kitchen and flooring as well as fresh paint. There is a small shared backyard perfect for summer nights outside. Close to transport and shops, there is a lovely cafe right across the road and we are in walking distance to supermarkets, pubs, restaurants and anything else you need in Mayfield. Waratah station is a short walk and it’s only 1 stop to Newcastle University. Rent is $150 for the room and $6.5 for the internet and $4.5 for water that is included in the rent. Gas and electricity bills come on top of this and are paid every quarter. Average is around $150 (for both) per quarter (3 months). Unfortunately no couples, the flat is cozy and perfect for 2 people.
