I wish I owned this apartment! Its incredibly spacious, newly renovated, and very close walking distance to Kingston and Manuka shops and restaurants. Its also really well insulated against Canberra's winter (which I find to be crucial), is a very secure apartment building, has air conditioning, beautiful timber floors, lots of natural light and balcony! It was hard to demonstrate this in my photos, but the master room is really large and spacious. It has a double inbuilt wardrobe (with seperate draws pictured near the window) and a modern ensuite bathroom. The room can come partially furnished if required. Available from mid April.
Hi, I'm a working professional looking for someone jointly sign a lease for a 2 bedroom apartment in Kingston. I'm currently renting the apartment and my housemate is vacating. We have agreement from the rental agency to sign another lease for 12 months and must sign the lease before Easter. About the apartment: - 111 Canberra Avenue, 5th floor - Views facing south over Canberra Avenue and Red Hill - Air conditioning - Balcony with plants/outdoor setting - Dishwasher - Clothes dryer and washing machine - Underground carpark (one carspace between us, for negotiation) - Fully furnished common area and kitchen (comfy couch, TV, dining table, fridge, modem) - Internet is unlimited high speed VDSL2, $40ea a month - Water is unmetered - Electricity is pretty cheap (was $90 each last quarter) If you're interested, would like to know more or would like to check out the room please get in touch.
- Amaya complex in Grffith, Two year old top floor luxury apartment with medium sized balcony. - 5 minute walk to Manuka, 15 minute walk to Kingston foreshore, 10 minute walk to old Kingston, 10 minute walk to Barton. - Rent includes internet and a cleaner who comes once a week. its a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment with just myself living there.
Please note that I am still presently confirming the lease duration, as it is coming up for renewal, and the bond should be around 4 weeks. No pets or smoking in the apartment. The property is located on Canberra Avenue, a 10 minute walk from Manuka shops and Kingston shops and a 20 minute walk from National Circut and Parliament House. The rent is very competitive given the proximity to Manuka and Kingston. Internet will be $45 p/m ($90 split in half) and electricity/gas are variable but usually low. The apartment will be relatively unfurnished once my roommate departs as the living room furniture is all his. I am currently using the interior parking spot but there is guest parking or a strip across the road if you have a car (and I am happy to rotate use of the interior park). Your room does not have an in-built closet, however there is a cloth closet available (or your own closet can be moved in). I am currently processing an NBN connection with Telstra which should be in place by the end of April 2019. I own the fridge/microwave and there is a laundry and dryer installed. There is a balcony and unfortunately no air-conditioning or elevator (three flights of stairs).
I love living in Manuka and I just adore this place; the flat itself is modern but also really spacious, the housemates are lovely, there's heaps of storage, two balconies, underground parking, etc etc. The best thing about living here though is its location. It's right across from the historic Manuka Pool and Manuka Oval, so perfect if you love cricket, footy, swimming, or just an excuse to chill with mates out in the sun. Easy walking distance to the Manuka shops, including some of the best cafes in Canberra (I recommend Ona), restaurants, a cinema, Coles, bookstore, bakeries, hair and nails, and more. It's hard to justify UberEats when Grill'd is 200m from your house... It's also very central to Canberra; both Sophie and Zach walk/ride to Civic. It's a really nice walk down and then around the lake, or down to Kingston Foreshore. Buses come through frequently, as does Uber, and of course, driving anywhere from here is really easy. I'm literally only leaving because my circumstances changed, as you can probably tell.... The tenancy arrangement is quite flexible, but I am looking for someone interested in more of a long term stay than just a couple months.
This property is a lovely 3 bedroom house with established gardens. - One bathroom with an additional toilet/powder room downstairs. - Modern kitchen appliances - Formal dining area - Two seperate outdoor entertaining areas - Seperate study - Timber flooring - Three water tanks, solar panels and a functional fire place (great for Canberra winter!). - Garage not included but plenty of street parking - Bills (internet, gas, electricity - possibly subsidised by solar panels) split equally between the 4 housemates - Washing machine included - Please note we have a dog. Hugo is well-behaved and will be kept outdoors There will be one spare bedroom in the house - perfect for when friends and family are in the area.
FULL HOME FOR 3 MONTHS New apartment - walking distance to Kingston shops, foreshore, Barton, Manuka and the Parliamentary triangle. 2 bedrooms, free secure underground parking, great courtyard for entertaining, reverse cycle air-conditioning. Netflix, smart TV, unlimited wifi and bills all included in rent. I will be away from mid May until mid August so will not be at the apartment during this period. Flexible with dates - earliest start date is 24 April. Willing to negotiate rent. Would prefer to rent furnished. A Property Manager suggested I let at $620pw but have advertised a lower amount due to the short term let that I hope would suit some people's circumstances but I'm willing to negotiate.
This first-floor apartment consists of a large open-plan living area with a modern kitchen and two balconies on either end of the property. It has two average sized bedrooms with built-in robes on opposite ends of the property. I have not yet moved into the property and the photos are from the public listing. Situated in the lush Kingston area, it is the perfect walking distance to both the Kingston shops and the foreshore. It is ideally situated for those who work within the parliamentary triangle or around the area. It will come fully unfurnished - I have a quite a few items however will need to organise a few things! Unfortunately there is no dedicated second car park, however there is free street parking out the front of the complex and 'visitor' parking.
Are you looking for a big apartment within 5 minutes of Kingston shops, the lake and the park? Room is available for sublet at $230/week (not including bills). You'll be sharing a two person apartment in a leafy, quiet complex with a tennis court and pool. There's a fully furnished kitchen, living room, laundry, shared bathroom and balcony. Room is available fully furnished from mid-April to July. Feel free to message me for more information!
*Available mid-April* *My housemate and I are both away and mostly out of reception for 2 weeks- we'll be back 1 April, and I will return any queries then. Thanks!* 2 bedroom apartment in inner South Canberra. Awesome location in Kingston right near Green Square, with a Supabarn just across the road and the foreshore and lake only a 5 minute walk. Its a great apartment for sharehousing, the bedrooms are at opposite ends of the apartment and both have sliding door access to really large balconies. Updated kitchen with a dishwasher, lots of greenery around the apartment complex. The room is on the smaller side, it fits a queen size bed and a side table, but comes with allocated undercover car parking. I promise I will add photos to the ad later, however am just getting the ad out there for the moment - both myself and my soon-to-be gone housemate are away for 2 weeks. Thanks!
The apartment is vary spacious and ideally located in Kingston. It has air conditioning and an open plan kitchen and living area. It will come fully furnished in the common areas. Although you are more than welcome to bring more furniture etc.
The apartment is spacious, with the living area downstairs and bedrooms upstairs. Each room has its own bathroom. The apartment has two balconies, which is wonderful for entertaining if you wish. The apartment is furnished besides the bedroom, and I am super open to redecorating or taking on furniture you may have. The place is a 20 minute walk to the parliamentary triangle and most government offices, a short 15 minute bus ride to the Canberra CBD, with the bus stop being just a few minutes walk from our address. The place is also a few minutes stroll to the Kingston Foreshore and lake, restaurants, bars and Old Kingston shops (including Supabarn supermarket). The apartment block has underground parking and also an outdoor barbecue area and garden. The household bills are $70 per month for internet, $20 per month for gas, and $200-250 per quarter for electricity. These can be split evenly. The bills come to about $21 per week per person.
House is three storey so it's great for privacy! Front and back areas for entertaining or gardening if you're into that. The location is great - one block back from the Kingston foreshore. It's a private rental so no real estate agents (A+). House has fast unlimited internet, ducted heating and cooling and a gas stove. The room is on the second floor at the front (morning sun!) and has it's own private balcony and shutters (if you're not that into the morning sun). Has a built-in wardrobe with mirrors - spacious! There isn't a parking spot in the garage, however there is on-street parking in the street next to ours (about 50m away). It's unmetered/not paid/no time limit, and it's not hard to find a spot most of the time. This is what our current and prvious housemates have used, with no issues. Sorry, no smokers, pets, full-time couples or students accepted.
Its large, charming home beautifully furnished and centrally heated, in the inner south close to all amenities. It has a nice patio to chill out, read a book. Manuka shops are 5 min bike ride away. Good place for morning coffee. The bus stop is 7 mins walk about 600m and Bus 935 crosses every half an hour. Its a nice and quite place. You can contact me for further details. The room can be provided furnished or unfurnished. Looking for serious student or professional wanting a home away from home.
This property is in a amazing location, so close to all the great restaurants and bars at Kingston but located in a quiet and peaceful street just far enough away to hear the noise. The double glazed windows stop all noise and keep the place comfortable all year round. The property has underground car parking and a massive entertaining area up in the roof with a new bbq and our door furniture. The property is through a realestate and will require a application. Please let me know abit about you when you enquire.
The apartment is bright, new, and in a quiet corner of Kingston - it is walking distance to the foreshore with plenty of free on-street parking. The available room is the master bedroom - it has built-in wardrobes and a private ensuite. The apartment has split system heating/cooling and miele appliances built into the kitchen. I am furnishing common areas (Kitchen, dining/living, patio - I will update photos once settled in). There is lock-up storage in the basement that can be shared.

Jess & Peter are moving out so we are looking for new flatmates! Two cheap rooms are available in a gorgeous 3 bed apartment in a perfect location. Our apartment is on Brisbane Avenue, a short walk from Manuka and Kingston. The apartment is fully furnished with air conditioning but if you have any furniture we still have plenty of space. We have a balcony, a large lounge and a decent sized kitchen. You will be sharing the bathroom with one other person. There are two rooms available. One is $191 a week and is a large loft room. It has a floor to ceiling window and an air conditioning unit. It is furnished with a bed. (See 'Room 2' on photos) The other is $206 a week and it is spacious and bright. It has a built in wardrobe with plenty of space. All the furniture (bed, desk, lamp, reading lamp, iron, ironing board, laundry basket is $250 extra) The property agent requires 1 month bond. The room would be perfect for a young professional working in the city or south side. It is right next to key bus routes and has some great cycle paths around that I use all the time. I have lived here for a year and I’m sad to move out. It’s great value and in such a convenient location next to the beautiful Lake BG. You will love it!
The property is very spacious with gorgeous large front windows overlooking the garden. The second bedroom gets lots of natural light and looks out into the back garden. The house is fairly new and in very good condition. And although the bathroom is shared, it's a pretty decent size and has a bath, shower, sink and a large mirror. The toilet is separate. House comes with air con/heating, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, fridge, microwave, oven, clothesline, and a little veggie patch if you're the kind of person with a green thumb. Mitch and Liza also care for a few little pot plants that are scattered around and give the place a very homey feel. There's a bit of storage room in the garage out front too as we rarely park cars in there. There's plenty of street parking too. It's only about a 15 minute drive into the city and there are bus routes along Canberra Avenue (about a 6 minute walk) that also go straight into the city. We're also very close to some lovely walking tracks and the Narrabundah shops, which have some adorable cafes. Tenancy is currently for about 6 months, with the potential to take over the lease around June/July. The bedroom easily fits a queen or king with ample extra space to boot. There is currently a queen bed frame in the room that can stay or be removed upon request. Room has good sized built in wardrobe.
