There is a big backyard boasting a large grapevine, lemon and apricot tree. Our home has character and is not new. Despite this, it is clean and functional. Important: There is a cat in the house. She is up-to-date with all injections and has regular visits to the vet. She is very well behaved, and if you like pets can be very cuddly. All areas in the house are cleaned at least once per week. Every three months the fridge, kitchen drawers and cupboards are also cleaned. The gardening is done on a monthly basis (you don't have to worry about this). Although general household cleaning tasks will be shared on a weekly basis, it is expected that everyone tidies working spaces in the kitchen after use, places their utensils in the dishwasher and sweeps/mops up hair and water in the bathroom and other shared spaces. It is also important that food and other perishables are not kept in rooms for extended periods of time and private spaces are aired and vacuumed on a regular basis. One key works for all external doors in the home. Bus stops are a 2 minute walk (just around the corner). Route 513 towards Glenroy Station or towards Coburg Station and Night Bus 951 during weekends. Also the house is 2 blocks away from a 7/11, IGA, post office, cafes, shops and restaurants. The gym is 10 minutes walk. If you drive, the house is roughly 30 minutes from the CBD without City Link or 15-20 minutes from the CBD using City Link. If you cycle, it is roughly 35 minutes on a good day to Bourke Street Mall along the Upfield bike path. If catching a train to the city via Merlyston or Oak Station the train ride is roughly 30 minutes + a 20 minute walk to the station.

We are Caitlin, Lane and Tan. We have a room available with a patio/garden view in our light-filled Pascoe Vale home. It's a warm, comfy, friendly and caring home with space to interact and to do your own thing. The room is a medium size, with a decent built-in wardrobe. It has a lovely view through a double window, and diffused light (filtered by the patio and large plants growing outside). Your window looks out to a part of the patio not used so you'll enjoy some privacy there. The carpet and wallpaper are a bit funky. The whole house is a maize of ambitious wallpapers, in fact. We love them... mostly. We're on a gorgeous, green and massive block of land with a sprawling view of the ever-shifting Melbourne skies and a pretty picturesque set of gardens ribboning the front and back yard. (We also have a 'middle' yard!) There's a lot of yard... We have a spacious outdoor covered patio with lounges, fast wifi, a bath and two large sheds. You'll be sharing with just two others as Tan lives in a detached dwelling but shares the house facilities. This home is respectful of our various and shared needs. Communication is key and we would love to find someone who can both communicate their feelings and receive communication so the little things don't become big things.
