This flat is on the second floor of a unit complex, entry via stairs and a car space provided (I don't drive so it's free to use). The complex also has a pool that's quite nice in summer. It's small and cosy, everything except the room on offer is furnished, kitchen utensils/cutlery etc is all there. There's a small balcony facing Charles Street, but the view of the road is mostly blocked by trees so it's quite nice in the afternoon just to relax and read a book. Water is included in the rent, just need to pay electricity (usually $20-30 or less per month depending on how often you use it.) I don't have Internet at this stage though I am considering getting an unlimited plan with Belong, which I'd be more than happy to share as long as you're willing to help with costs. The unit is a few metres away from buses that'll take you into the city (10mins), Dogswamp Shopping Centre (5mins) and Mirrabooka Square (25-30 mins). It's a 20 minute walk to the Angove Street cafe strip and North Perth Coles, 20-25 minute walk to ECU Mt Lawley, there's a gym only a 5 minute walk away as well as a dance studio. There's also a 24hr petrol station right next door. The room has a built in wardrobe and a window facing Charles Street. It's unfurnished but would comfortably sit a single bed and a desk. The main fridge is a little small so if you have a mini fridge, you are more than welcome to bring it along. The place will be available to move in on the 5th of February. I'm looking for a housemate that is pretty quiet and respectful, doesn't need to be a clean freak but like to keep common areas tidy. Room's great, super spacious with a heap of wardrobe space. There's a second room that you can spread into as well, which may suit couples or people who want more space (we'd negotiate extra portion of the weekly rent for this). We've got a pool as well. The rest of the house is massive. We've got decent uncapped Internet, heaps of parking space, and a sweet backyard for entertaining. The best thing about the property is the inner-city, super central location. I worked in the city for a while, which meant an easy 15 minute bus down Charles Street, straight into the CBD. There's all the good shit of Mount Hawthorn and Leederville on one side with Mount Lawley and all the Beaufort Street awesomeness on the other side. Freeway entries are painless as well, if you needed to venture beyond the inner-city bubble.
