Old hotel building on the beach...If you are looking to get outdoors and enjoy the beach/sunshine this New Year - this place is perfect. The building has a beautiful foyer, very high ceilings and the interior has all been renovated. Miele appliances, washing machine and double-head shower (your bathroom). Matador BBQ for use, air-con (hot and cold), secure intercom for safe access. Restaurant (Italian) within the building which makes UberEats redundant... Balcony overlooking the city skyline, with the beach literally on the front door to the building. Wardrobe built-in the room, large-open plan living space. Yes, Albert Park is expensive, but the location to beach and a chilled lifestyle for me makes it worth it. Close enough to the CBD for commute (~20 min tram) for any CBD worker; ~300m to #1 tram direct to the CBD (or #12 also), or a quick 10-15 uber/taxi both ways (~$15 usually). Internet can be discussed - I use my mobile as I'm not interested in Netflix/Stan streaming TV. Parking is difficult, but there is car spots outside the building and around at 30min - 4hr parks...After 5PM it's unlimited.

This is not a party house and wouldn't suit a smoker or a heavy drinker and definitely no drugs. Also, would not suit somebody who is addicted to facebook, or who needs to photograph everything they do or upload their personal life constantly onto social media (looking for somebody who prefers to respect each other's peace and privacy at home). This cosy, charming place is located just off Victoria Avenue. It is 100 metres from the best bookshop and cafes. A 5 minute tram ride into St Kilda and 7 minute light rail into Melbourne CBD. While the place itself is quite old, I’ve done my best to introduce modern furnishings to keep it light and looking good. There is heating and aircon in the shared space (living area). I don’t have a television or wifi here as I like to switch off after a busy day at work. Happy for you to organise for yourself, though. Beach is just down the road too!
