Its a very comfortable house, there's a wood fire in winter (as well as gas central heating in living area and bedrooms (very fast), and ceiling fans in summer (with air con in the lounge/kitchen). Good courtyard for relaxing/entertaining, with day bed and barbeque. The house is a few minutes walk to the beach, no 1 and 12 tram, local cafes and restaurants. We're about 10 mins walk to 96 tram, Port Melbourne and a short tram ride to St Kilda. My current house mate walks to his office in the city (past the aquatic centre at Albert Park Lake), he says he loves it. It also comes with a free indoor dog, who loves the beach.

The apartment is very conveniently located. The tram stop is just below and you barely wait more than a minute for a tram to CBD. The living space is huge and the apartment is fully furnished. I can even provide you with pillows and a quilt. Short term accommodation of one - two months would work well for me as well. Preference for single occupancy.
