Hi there! This has been a share house for the last few years and now we have one room available for rent. The room: The room has high ceilings, and the floor dimensions are approximately 4mx4m. There is a large wardrobe for your clothes and other belongings. (It's really heavy, but you can stash it in the lounge if don't need it.) The house: The house is a nice old building, and we keep it clean and tidy. We have ducted air conditioning (heating and cooling) in all the bedrooms, but we don't use it often because it is expensive to run; however, we switch it on when we all agree that it's really hot or really cold. The kitchen stuff (like pots and pans) is for communal use. There is a nice little pot-bellied stove kitchen room which is particularly nice on cold winter nights. Yard: The back yard is large and spacious, with a large owner's shed behind it. You can do some gardening if you so desire. (There is room to park three cars; however, this could involve some serious car juggling every now and then.) You are most welcome to have friends and guests any time, as long as you are considerate with noise levels and cleaning, etc. Rent will be 150ish/week paid fortnightly (coming to 300ish/fortnight) and 23.33 every month for the Internet. The house is great for entertaining so we do have friends over for drinks every now and then, particularly before heading out to events. ABOUT THE LOCATION: This house has the BEST location and we absolutely love living here because of it. A 3 minute walk from Hilton Plaza which has a Woolworths, pharmacy, post office, cafe, deli/butcher, news agency, sushi place etc. Pretty much everything you could ever need! It's also a 2 minute walk from the bus stop, Ubers to the city are RIDICULOUSLY cheap and always arrive within minutes, and we have so many amazing food places within walking distance and on Ubereats. ABOUT THE BILLS: We have only had one lot of bills so far (gas, water and electricity - all paid quarterly) as the lease started in February, and we found they were all pretty reasonable/didn't get any nasty surprises. Rent is paid fortnightly. We do have unlimited Internet which would be $20 a month. BOND is actually $900 - I was not able to select that when putting up this ad.
