Hi guys, my legend of a roomie is moving in with her boyfriend, so I now have a room available in my sweet townhouse in Cooks Hill. The room is large and unfurnished with a built in wardrobe – but to give you an idea of the size, she had in it a queen size bed, dresser, 2 bedside tables and a guitar stand, and there’s still plenty of room for activities. The rest of the house is furnished, has air conditioning, gas heating, a new kitchen with a dishwasher and floor to ceiling wine rack (feel free to fill it haha), modern bathroom, and a second brand new shower and toilet in the laundry. There is a great little courtyard out front with a BBQ and I am trying (often failing) to grow things – my basil is insane but I somehow managed to kill mint which is literally un-killable. It's an awesome location, walking distance from supermarkets, pubs, Darby St, etc. There's plenty of on-street parking (and you can get a permit from council), but there is also space out the back to park if your car is not huge. I have a cat called Frank, he’s a legend – even if you hate cats I’m pretty sure he’ll win you over. I'm after someone relaxed, independent, social, clean, etc. ideally late 20s/early 30s. Extra brownie points if you love animals, recycle, choose free range eggs, and know anything about gardening. I'm 31, laid back, often funny and work full time as a graphic/web designer as well as teaching dance part time. Enjoy catching up with friends on weekends for a few drinks, and trying to get to yoga classes when I manage to drag myself out of bed in time.
