this place is a real sanctuary that is only 5" from the newport train station, 25" train to flinders street, 25" drive to st kilda (non-peak hour), 5" from williamstown, within cooee of newport lakes and most importantly 5" drive to the best delicatessen on this side of town! with just 2 trainstops between us and yarraville, going to catch a movie at melbourne's best cinema, the sun theatre, is too easy. on top of that, the house itself is a wonderfully character filled edwardian home that seems to open out like a tardis, with 3 bedrooms, a loungeroom along with a huge dining space off the kitchen that opens up onto the back garden. the design of the house means that it stayed beautifully cool over summer with minimal need for air conditioning (ie i only turned it on once) and retains heat in winter (which really matters to me as i hate the cold). the garden is a beautiful work in progress and the veggie yield was pretty good over the summer, and yes i do have netflix and extra bonus, there is a shed and a side entrance
Lots of space. There is a massive park and lake behind the house, and another park in front. Train is 8-12 mins walk depending on how soon your train is coming, or how hot it is (bus stop is outside the house next door). Travelling to the city or beyond by car is also very quick. House is modern, and we each get our own private balcony, and a large courtyard to share with loads of edibles growing. Your room is huge. It could easily fit two queen sized beds, and more, though I don't want to live with Kanye. You get your own ensuite, large wardrobe with built in drawers, and lots of storage up top, and lots of privacy. Apart from your bedroom, everything is fully furnished and equipped, and of very high quality and comfort. If you like cooking, you'll love the kitchen and all the equipment I have. This house is centrally located, close to shops, banks , and bistros Both the beach and gym are within easy walking, as are buses and trains at two stations..It is well equipped. I have both space heating throughout and air conditioning. There are big screen TV's with Netflix, and a fully equipped office, ideal for students. The room available is furnished or unfurnished as required, big built-in wardrobes and with its own bathroom. . No smoking in the house, I like fresh air, and the rear yard has outdoor furniture and private. I am retired and happy to cook but also happy to share facility.

There are lots of bike track around and it's great to head down to Williamstown to hang out along the foreshore. I'm in a 3 bedroom property with ample off-street parking. I use 2 of the 3 bedrooms but the 3rd one rarely gets used. It's clean, tidy, comfortable and it's next to the bathroom. The mattress is really nice to sleep on. I'm right next to a park and close to shops, cafes, train station. Mine is not a party house.
