Altona North is an older neighbourhood located in the west; which is a quiet, multicultural and family friendly area. It’s sprinkled with small shopping strips as well as the larger shopping centres such as Altona Gate Shopping Centre. It’s also got great cake shops and bakeries. The Williamstown Hospital is the closest hospital. There are excellent public transport options with a bus to Newport railway station but it would be helpful to have your own car to get you around more efficiently. There is a drive way to park your car but no garage access. It’s only a short drive to Williamstown and Altona which are bursting with eateries and beaches. There is a lovely nature walking track at Newport Lakes.
