The window has double glass so even with the train nearby it is pretty quiet. You are welcome to bring your own furnitures if you prefer. The main bathroom is just next to the bedroom and is not very used as we have also our own bathroom. The house is fully furnished (except that we have no TV). $250 / week ALL BILLS INCLUDED (Internet, electricity... ). No extra to pay. It takes approximately 20/25 minutes to get into the city by train and the train station (North Williamstown) is within 2 minutes walking distance. We have a large and modern home which is spread over two storeys. The upstairs has 3 bedrooms, and we occupy the main bedroom which has its own ensuite. The other two bedrooms are at the other end of the upstairs corridor and has a bathroom separating them. Downstairs has three living spaces, a kitchen and laundry. Two of the living spaces are all fully-furnished with a dining table, reading room and a small lounge area. The other space is cordoned off for the dogs (as per my explanation below). There is a fully fenced backyard plus an outside courtyard. The house is approximately 12 years old with a fair amount of wear and tear, but overall in good condition. We have two bedrooms that are at one end of the house upstairs that are available to rent. These two rooms will share a bathroom. To confuse the pricing structure, we actually are offering the following: Bedroom 1 - $220 per week furnished or $200 per week unfurnished. This bedroom has an airconditioner and a large wall long built-in wardrobe. Bedroom 2 - $190 per week furnished or $175 per week unfurnished. It has a small wardrobe and an airconditioner that is free standing and has to blow out the window. To be fair, it is first in that gets the furniture, no matter which room it is in. The furniture we offer is 1 x Queen size bed and mattress, 1 x Queen Anne dressing table with stool, 1 or 2 bedside tables with lamps. If you have any additional furniture for the house, we can definitely squeeze it in around the place or offer you to store it in the garage. Please note though, it is a fully furnished house and while we will do our best to accommodate your furniture, it just may not fit. Electricity, gas and water bills to be shared equally amongst all house occupiers, so with 4 inhabitants, we each pay a quarter of the bills. We are able to provide high speed WIFI internet for free as well as streaming services for Stan and Netflix. The street has its own bus stop which runs directly to Yarraville Train Station and in the opposite direction to Newport via Altona Gardens Shopping Centre. The bus also connects you to other bus routes to universities and Highpoint Shopping Centre. The house is also near cycling paths and there is plenty of storage space for bicycle/s. Our situation is that we are moving out in six months time. We have lived here for 7 years and love it dearly, but we are moving into a place that currently under construction and due to be finished in January. You would have the option to either move out at the same time, or take over the lease and get extra housemates in for the additional bedroom (future you decision). This is our kitsch Californian bungalow in Williamstown. It is very homely, comes with all the necessities and is in a very nice spot along a pretty, tree-lined street. The room is a very standard sized room, which will fit a double bed, a desk and some furniture. There wouldn't be a lot of space in the room for storage but we do have a spare room in the house that we use for storage. The room comes unfurnished so you will need to supply your own furniture. The house is in OK condition but is quite old so I wouldn't expect a renovated paradise. It has a large and very rustic kitchen (look at those bricks!) and a large dining/lounge area that is a shared space. There are 2 other bedrooms occupied by myself and my housemate Seb and another spare room for storage. There is a large laundry with washer and dryer that backs out onto a large backyard/garden. The only real negative about the house is the bathroom. It is fairly small and not so pretty to look at but it has everything you need it to have like shower/bath and toilet. It is located within a 2 minute walk to a plethora of shops and restaurants, with a supermarket also within walking distance. Early morning coffee won't be an issue, you just have to decide which place you like best. We are very close to the water and a 5 minute drive to the beach. The nearest train station is Williamstown beach and it takes exactly 12 minutes to walk there. There is parking on the street which is very easy access and has heaps of spots available.
