You'll be sharing with 2 or 3 others (male and female), including sharing a bathroom. The property is on the Tweed River with views across to the Springbrook mountains. It’s very relaxing to sit on the balcony, enjoying the beautiful view and hearing the birds. There is a swimming pool, a slow combustion fire place and a dog that spends a lot of time inside with us. (Sorry, no other pets considered). You’ll be sharing with the owner and one or two others who are currently renting. Please only contact us if you have stable, full time employment, have no major dramas going on and can live peacefully and respectfully with others. It’s a quiet home with people who enjoy an active, healthy lifestyle. No smokers (not even outside) and no drugs! You would be expected to do your fair share of the housework and gardening, so that the home and yard are well maintained. There is ample space for you to grow your own food, herbs etc, if you want. We buy our own food and sometimes have shared meals. Short term rental also considered, if you are in-between homes. The bedroom can be furnished or unfurnished, however apart from the bedroom, there is not a lot of space for other people’s stuff, i.e. the home is fully furnished. The house is situated on a acreage property on the mountain to the north of the Currumbin Valley rock pools. The surroundings are park like and in complete harmony with nature. It is peaceful and tranquil environment. The views are toward the Tomawin Ranges to the south. Relative to the beach is 12km and the nearest shopping centre is the IGA in Currumbin Waters or the Pines in Elanora, around the 10km. Murwillumbah is only 18km away which is a quick way to go if you are venturing south. The outdoor amenities include a swimming pool, spa and BBQ area. The area for rent is downstairs from my bedroom, with totally separate bedroom, lounge, toilet and shower, so total privacy is not an issue. For mobile reception, you need Telstra, because their signal is the strongest. I do have ADSL2 cable connection with 100GB per month which I am prepared to share pending on usage. I am a clean and tidy person who is very considerate of always leaving the kitchen neat and tidy. I expect the same and the person I want to share with not to shy away from doing a little housework in the common areas to help out. If you have the dreaded smokers habit, then never inside and don't leave your buts around. If you enjoy growing vegetables .. I have garden beds already prepared and would enjoy the company.

Hi, This home is newly built and is on a rural property in beautiful "Sleepy Hollow", 15 min drive to Ocean Shores and 25min to Tweed. The house is large with 2 lounge area which my son who is 19 and I occupy one! You will be renting the Master room which has an walk through wardrobe which leads into your large ensuite. You have your own entrance and a dry under cover verandah area..The kitchen is modern and has a fantastic large gas stove. There is no TV reception although I have Foxtel connected. The internet is good and is wireless Broadband and there is no land line. I have a Optus mobil which gets excellent coverage. The home is surrounded by bush and has a very relax energy and a real Coast feeling. There is a little bit of storage in the shed but it's limited. I don't mind if you smoke but out side only and we would like to live with some one who isn't a heavy drinker. The rent is $230 per week, 3 weeks bond and electricity is not included. An easy going couple living in Tallebudgera. I study full time and I'm also a full time athlete, so week days are usually pretty early nights and early mornings but love a few drinks and socialising on the weekends. My partner is a carpenter and works full time. We have three beautiful dogs and live on an acre so plenty of room for parking. Three year old house, built in Pottsville because it doesn't flood. Close to town and transport services. Quiet neighbours, mostly older couples. Air-conditioning in all rooms. There is a cleaning roster the person moving in will be expected to join in on. It rotates jobs so it's not 'un-fair' to any of the flatmates. Some of the flatmates are shift-workers and others early morning workers, so a little respect for when people are sleeping is expected. Not a party house / No parties. But friends/ family are welcome to visit. Internet is really fast.
