A comfortable, homely and charming California bungalow house only 100m to the bay! It has high ceilings with 2 lounge/living areas, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. There is a small storage room as you enter the property also. The bedroom which will be available from July 27 after my current housemate moves out is on the small side but fits a queen size bed plus stand alone wardrobe and chest of drawers. It can come with or without the queen bed plus the wardrobe (note there are no built in cupboards). There are 2 other wardrobes in the front storeroom that you can use. Currently I have the main bedroom and use the main bathroom exclusively and my male housemate (who is leaving and whose room will become available) uses the toilet and shower in the laundry however if a female moves in I would be happy to share the main bathroom and have the other as our second shared bathroom or keep the setup as it is now (there is no proper basin in the laundry but I think most guys would be happy with it, happy to work it out with the right person anyway). It is in an incredible location! Only a 30 second walk to the beach and 500m to parkdale station and shops. There is a large front yard and a small backyard. Bills are not included in the rent but on average have been approx. $110 per month per person for internet, water and electricity (there is no gas supply). They are just split between us when they come in.

Modern and furnished 2 bedroom apartment with a lovely balcony view. Nice walk to beach road and the view of the beach from the top of the apartment, Mentone village shops just around the corner. The bedroom os finished and has access to the balcony. I try to keep the apartment clean at all time and I would appreciate the same from my new housemate. This isn’t a party house but friends and family are always welcomed for drinks as long as the house is well looked after.

Whats not great about the place. The unit, one of eight on the block, has recently been renovated and is lucky enough to treated to sunshine from rise to fall (when the sun comes out). Less than a kilometer away from the front door is the sandy wet thing and the Mentone shops and station. There is still some outstanding work to be done around the place including the backyard which will be a small project next year. The available room has a built in robe, new carpet, new blinds and a fresh coat of paint. The neighbours are all lovely and most have been living in the block for the best part of a decade.
