Amazing sea views, awesome sunsets mingled with the sound of crashing waves heard right from the lounge room and the bedrooms. I only have to cross the road to get to the beach :). Cafe and pizza down stairs and approx. 15 min walk to the Mentone shops and train station. I walk to and fro every weekday for work though I have a car. I'm looking for someone who's not housebound, who enjoys a life and is clean, tidy, responsible and considerate. Am happy to share a meal, chat, drinks etc with my housemate just as I am to leave them to whatever they're doing. I live a healthy lifestyle and try to stick to sustainable methods of living where possible. Though cooking is a hobby and part time profession I don't do that all too often as I've moved here to enjoy a change in my lifestyle. I rarely watch TV but sometimes like watching DVDs, enjoy long walks on the beach, catching up with family and friends and tending to my other interests and hobbies, mostly outside the house. Visitors are allowed but not all the time. Should have the courtesy to let the other person know. That goes for both of us. The apartment is open plan but not huge so makes sense. For me, meeting people on the beach acts as a good excuse for some exercise and tranquility catch up time. I'm quite social in nature but my own space and privacy are also important to me, especially a harmonious atmosphere at home. Anyone who's looking for some peace and quiet yet a lively atmosphere at home and who prefers to entertain out majority of the time would be preferable. This would suit my current lifestyle and give us both some time alone to enjoy in the house. Besides, good to have our own space after a hard days' or weeks' work. Overall, I guess I'm looking for someone who already has a similar lifestyle to mine and so doesn't have to change theirs to suit mine. It fits a queen size bed with 2 side tables quite comfortably as per photo and has a floor to ceiling built in wardrobe with mirrors. The bed is nice and solid and I'm looking for a comfortable mattress for it at the moment. You're welcome to bring your own if you have it. Beddings can be provided or you can bring your own. Everything else in the house that's to be shared is provided, with cupboard and fridge space allocated. I'm yet to find a suitable kitchen bench to fit the space to add some workspace to the kitchen though have been managing ok so far. It's more of a convenience thing for me. I've moved in here not too long ago and yet to add some decorative touches and a splash of colour to the place! There is room for two cars in a underground secure car park. Shopping centre is literally seconds to walk to, including supermarket. The living area is fully furnished so the need for extra furniture will not be required. Outside noise is relatively quiet considering the near proximity to the shopping centre. Outdoor area has BBQ and outdoor setting with small garden area. About me, healthy eater, many interests outside the home. Bills are included as well as Internet and Netflix. No Foxtel!!!
