We live in a lovely neighbourhood with public transport access to any where you need to go. It takes 20 minutes to cycle to the CBD and Fitzroy/Collingwood are even closer. We live around the corner from Vic Gardens for all of your shopping needs. The home itself is your typical Aussie house with bedrooms at the front, lounge/kitchen at the back. The lounge space is really open with a big screen TV (Netflix/Stan etc). You'll have the bedroom at the back, the room will be unfurnished but IKEA and Kmart are just around the corner for whatever you need Electricity and gas are included in rent which makes a huge difference! The only bills we split are internet ($16 each pm) and water ($50 - $70 each per quarter). We have high speed fibre optic internet up to 100mbps and very reliable.

No worries - there are multiple tram routes that go straight to the city running right past the place, the massive Victoria Gardens shopping centre is within walking distance, the wonderful cafes of Bridge Rd are a short stroll away, and the nightlife of Swan Street is close by too! The room on offer comes with a large built in wardrobe and plenty of space for a queen sized bed and a desk or chest of drawers. Unfortunately the landlord won't allow pets and there's no smoking either. Parking is available off street but is extra as it's a rented car spot.
