About the property
A spacious 5-bedroom standalone house with all the bells and whistles, right in the heart of Richmond.
There are 2 rooms up for grabs from the 8th of Feb and start of March. The rooms are light and spacious, overlooking the front garden. They both have queen beds, a bedside table, a chest of drawers, and a big storage wall surrounding a marble fireplace. There's enough room for a desk if you're working or studying from home.
The freshly renovated bathroom will be shared with one other housemate and occasional guests, which has a double shower, double vanity, and a pretty bougie bathtub.
The large open-plan kitchen, with two of everything, makes for easy and social mealtimes. It is equipped with all appliances plus two large fridges, hobs and ovens and plenty of pantry space for the foodies.
The back of the house is all bifold doors which we love to open on a warm summers day and when we’re feeling competitive, we convert our dining room into a table tennis court, though we are yet to declare a champion… We also have every streaming service you can dream of, which runs on high-speed FTTP NBN.
The house has a large laundry room, a private rooftop complete with a spa, lounge, and BBQ—perfect for relaxing weekends. A spacious yard and a chill back deck for soaking up the sun (if you get bored of the roof).
Our street is quiet and safe, ensuring peaceful nights and a sense of security, and plenty of available street parking. You'll be within walking distance of Bridge Rd, Victoria St, Church St, and Burnley St— meaning easy access to Richmond Traders and Victoria Gardens, close-by trams, and not to mention a 2-minute walk to the Saturday markets.
Bills are shared equally, including a monthly cleaner.

About the flatmates
We're Stef, James and Mark, three young professionals living in the heart of Richmond. We’re looking for another housemate to join us, along with the boss of the house, Mika the Japanese Spitz, and her oversized feline brothers, Toshi and Tonka the Maine Coons.
Stef (female, straight) - I’m 32 and work as an Operations Manager within Direct Marketing. I am from New Zealand, and after 10 years here, I am still loving getting to know Melbourne. I love a good drama series with an oversized bowl of popcorn, trying new wine bars in the area, preparing for my upcoming badminton tournament and of course, being ruled by my fur babies.
James (male, straight), I’m 29 working in construction and am on-site 5-6 days of the week. I like to eat pasta and risotto with a spoon and am a slut for an organised dishwasher. During the week I keep it pretty low key but I’ll join you for a few drinks at bodriggy most weekends.
Mark (male, straight), I’m 30 and from the UK. Scottish specifically, but in denial about it. I love my fitness and regularly show face at my local CrossFit cult. I play the occasional round of golf if the weathers good and if there are sausage rolls and beer on tap. I’ve also recently mastered the art of making fajitas which you’ll have to try!
Mika (female, Japanese Spitz) - The ruler of the house is the queen of sass herself. A 8-year-old, fully house-trained and altogether loveable rogue, who loves nothing more than belly rubs and long romantic walks to the fridge... She spends her days with Stef at work so is only about on evenings and weekends.
Toshiko/Toshi (male, Maine Coon) - Despite only being 4yrs old, Toshi has the wisdom and judgement of a 80 yr old. Toshi spends his days mastering the art of the nose kiss, supervising the human's bathroom visits, and plotting ways to dethrone his sister. We believe world domination is his ultimate goal, he has yet to confirm or deny.
Tonkatsu/Tonka (male, Maine Coon). Tonka is the latest addition to the family and, although Mika won't admit it out loud, we are all quite obsessed with him. His 2 years on this earth has given him enough confidence to challenge his older brother and enough appetite to eat a months supply of kibble afterwards. He takes his job as umpire of table tennis very seriously and firmly believes that it’s 6pm dinner time somewhere in the world, despite the current time in Melbourne.
We're searching for a chilled housemate who appreciates the space and embraces our relaxed and social home. We are always down for cozy movie nights, a few bevs at the pub, engaging chats in the spa and the occasional big night out! Ideally, another young professional and definitely a lover of animals as Mika and the Lions ultimately get the final say in housemate!
