This apartment is great for UQ students, the walk to the Fred Schonell bus stop is about 1 minute! The apartment is also fully furnished, including queen beds in all the rooms and white goods. The living space is pretty big for an apartment and we've set up well with comfy bean bags and a decent sized tv. There is also a cute balcony which lets in lots of breeze and has a pretty sweet view, it's so nice to sit out there in the mornings and have breakfast. Our kitchen it also pretty big, and we have lots of kitchen utensils so you'll be able to cook till your heart's content (or order pizza whatever floats your boat). The bills are electricity (usually around $100 each once every three months), gas (usually around $60 each once every three months), and internet (unlimited high speed for $23 each once a month), plus rent of $150 a week. There are two underground garaged car parks (one is free for you if you want it), plus visitor parking. Itâ€™s a 20 minute easy walk from UQ, and it is literally one minute from Guyatt Park ferry terminal. The 412 Bus route runs on Sir Fred Schonell drive, so it is very easy to get anywhere by public transport. You'll be living with an easygoing graduate and a tourism student. It's super close from UQ so no need to worry about the transportation cost. The room is pretty big with a balcony which you can access from your room privately. It has a big size window come glass door which lets enough light and air to the room. The room is on the second floor. You will have your own bathroom attached with your room. It's a leafy neighborhood so even in the summer the room remains comparatively cool. The agreement needs to be done for a year and the rent without the bills will be 230 AUD/week (the rent will increase if it's a couple or two persons live together). Utilities will depend on use so it would be divided by the number of the people in the house. Approximately you can count around 35 AUD/week on utilities. Great room, very central. Perfect for students attending UQ as it is a 5 minute walk. Public transport is 1 minute away and only takes 15 minutes to reach the CBD or Southbank. Shops are located within walking distance. Neighbours are very friendly although very quiet. The room itself includes air-conditioning as well as its own on-suite.
