There is a washing machine and dryer in the house, and a clothes line outside. The kitchen is well stocked, with a powerful induction stove, dishwasher, and everything else you'd expect from a kitchen. ABBQ is also available. The benches are Caesar Stone. In the bathroom, is a large shower, with great pressure, as well as a large spa bath. We are close to UQ; 25 minutes walk, or 14 minutes by bus (including walking times). We are a 10 minute drive to the centre of Brisbane City, and close to Toowong and Indooroopilly Shopping Centres. Our street is very quiet, with only local cars occasionally passing by, and hardly any audible sound travels from main roads in the area. One of the great things about this property is how close it is from the University of Queensland since by walking it will take you around 11 mins. But if you are not the walking type of person you can catch the 412 bus every 15 mins at the bus stop that is literally 300m away. If you are interested on sports you will find the William Dart Park just in front. About the house, it has a very spacious living room where you can eat and socialize with the housemates that are always up for a chat. Hi, A wonderful and pleasant unit which is very close to UQ. Just 3 mins drive to UQ Chancellor place or approx 1.8km by walk. Translink bus stop is just 80m by walk. Frequent buses are available to UQ(411,428), Indooroopilly(428) and city(411). IGA in Hawken drive(less than 1km) is very handy and Toowong village in less than 3kms. This unit comes with 2 bedrooms, a living room, kitchen and bathroom as shown in the images. The rent of one bedroom is $170 per week and $160 per week for another room(since it is relatively small). Hey there! I will be away on exchange in August until early February next year, so we are looking for an easy-going and friendly new housemate for 6 months to fill my room. The room can be available within a week of notice. This is a great two-story share house, only a 10 minute walk to UQ and the St Lucia Village just down the road. Electricity and internet (1TB Telstra Plan) is split between the 5 housemates and paid separately from rent. There is a small cosy balcony extended from the kitchen as well as a built-in pool at the front of the house, perfect for the upcoming summer. This spacious room (~3.7 x 3.5m) has a tall ceiling with 3 large windows, letting in lots of light and fresh air. The room has a huge desk, queen-size bed and two wardrobes (stand-alone and built-in) which would preferably stay in place for the 6 months, but I'll let you decide if you like my taste in furnishings.
